Ate here today by myself on a frigid Monday afternoon. I had brought 2 slices of pizza with a can of soda and it tasted pretty good but it's a bit doughy. The service there was also attentive and quick. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time.

Pronto! Greasy cheesy hot pizza in my belly. Two slices and a soda for $5. Get in my belly, pronto! Eat dat pizza then go shopping in the mall across the street, pronto! Then come back, to have a $1 cup of coffee, pronto! Better find a bathroom afterwards. PRONTO!

Great pizza and really great deal with 2 slices of cheese and a soda for $6. I didn't wait longer than a minute and the person working was very nice. The space to order is a bit cramped but line moves quickly and there's a few places to sit and eat.

Apparently the signage has changed from Pronto to Lulu's Pizza. Saw a deal that said 2 cheese pizza slices + drink for 6 bucks. The pizza doesn't wow, and is in fact, extremely dry. No sauce oozed out and it could just be categorized as cheesy bread. It's similar to the $1 slices in the City. But for the price, I suppose you can't complain much. It does what it needs to do - quash hunger pangs.

This is an outdoor pizza place that is on the corner right outside the Queens Center Mall, Shake Shack and Olive Garden. We chose this place because they actually had four small tables for outdoor seating. Actually, this address changes businesses a lot, which is surprising considering the foot traffic. Before it was a pizza place, it was a Mexican place, a halal food place, and a flower shop. My friend and I both ended up having a cheese and pepperoni slice each. The pizza is fairly priced, at $2.50 for a cheese slice and $3.00 for a pepperoni one. The first thing we noticed is that their pizza is super greasy, with the oil just soaking into the paper plate. We did not mind this at all, but it can be a turn off to others. Maybe as a result of the oil, we both found the slices very juicy - very cheesy and saucy and well done. Excellent standard New York style pizza if that is what you are looking for. They have a deal of two cheese slices with a drink for $5.00.

Honestly the best and cheapest lunch in Queens. $5 for this and a canned soda. Their pizza is really, really good. Topped with just the right amount of sauce, just the right amount of cheese and the crust is almost perfectly thick. The service is speedy and friendly.

Regular slice & pepperoni slice

Solid, fresh NY slices. They seem to not have a working phone, and aren't even receiving Grubhub orders that customers place, so it's kind of impossible to order ahead from here currently, but I really hope they fix all of that because this has the potential to be a great pizzeria option in Elmhurst.

It is reminiscent of the design behind the trendiest cafes of Kuala Lumpur. The noise level is great if you want a quieter environment to focus and want 2010s pop music in the background. Most people on a weekend afternoon are here working. From a practical standpoint, the tables are higher than what, so get ready to sit real upright if you're going to do work here. *Seasonal caramelized banana matcha latte: 2/5. the banana flavor does not come through and texturally odd to have semi-hard banana solids at the bottom of the drink. *Molly sea salt latte: has both jasmine tea and espresso over milk, topped with a salty cold foam. 3.5/5. The jasmine is the most prominent flavor. I think this drink might benefit from less milk, so that the espresso can still come through.

There were lots of people sitting with their drinks, doing work, or just catching up with friends. I was able to get a small table and ordered a Pistachio Latte, which was perfectly not too sweet. My friends tried the HK sandwich and madeleines, which were just okay. I'd come back again to try their other drinks but probably not their food. Pistachio Latte 9/10 HK Style Sandwich 6/10 Madeleines 6/10 - Too thick and cakey for my liking. It tasted more like a dense cake than a light madeleine.

There are plenty of seats but during the weekends they fill up quickly. I would just recommend coming in earlier. Really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and banana latte. The matcha had a strong creamy flavor that complimented the strawberry flavor very well. Judging from the color, it was definitely a decent quality matcha. The hot banana latte was not too sweet and really impressed me with the taste. It wasn't artificial and was very comforting on a colder day. I also tried the oolong tea cheesecake. The texture was moist and the perfect density for a cheesecake. While the tea flavor was light, I would get it again. Excited to try out their other drinks, they also have a selection of desserts like the tiramisu that will sell out quickly.

I decided on the black sesame latte and the peanut butter & banana sandwich. I wish they had a little more savory choices. While I waited I sat at the communal table to work. During the weekday is a great space to work. The wait is minimal and I received my order quickly. The latte was excellent! The espresso was smooth and therefore paired well with black sesame. The sandwich was good but nothing special. Great cafe but more savory selection.

With options like a coconut roiboos tea with coffee, black sesame latte, etc, everything has a fun twist. The drinks are a little small but are super reasonably priced. I got to try the rococo, the pistachio latte, the matcha latte, and the black sesame latte. Each one was really good, not too sweet, and had a strong flavor. The place is very small with no seating, so you have to take the drinks to go. It's a quick order and get out, so not much service here.

Off-Peak Coffee is a small specialty coffee shop that focuses on creative drinks and unique flavor…read morecombinations rather than a traditional café experience. We walked into a space that is very minimal with a simple counter setup, making it more of a grab-and-go spot than somewhere to sit and spend time. The interior is compact and functional, with the focus clearly on the drinks rather than the atmosphere, and the steady flow of customers moving through the counter reflects its popularity as a quick stop. The biggest appeal of Off-Peak Coffee is the variety of specialty drinks. The menu has a lot of interesting combinations that are clearly designed to be more adventurous than standard coffee or matcha drinks. We tried a few and found options like the tiramisu latte and coconut coffee more unique, with flavors that were well integrated and did not feel gimmicky. The fruit-based drinks make the shop feel closer to the modern Asian café style, and the presentation is also a big part of the experience, with many drinks looking as good as they sound on the menu. The visual appeal of each order adds to the sense that the drinks are crafted with care. We tried their matcha drinks, and while they were decent overall, the matcha itself was a little disappointing compared to what we expected. The flavors and toppings helped make the drinks more interesting, but the matcha flavor did not stand out as much as at some specialty matcha shops. It feels like the focus is more on the creative combinations rather than highlighting the matcha itself, and for anyone specifically looking for a strong, authentic matcha flavor, it might not fully satisfy. The service was friendly and the ordering process was quick, which fits the style of the shop. The staff handled the flow efficiently, and the drinks came out without much delay. Since there is very limited seating, it is better suited for grabbing a drink while exploring the area rather than staying for a long café visit. The small space can also get busy during peak hours, but the staff keeps things moving, and the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. The overall pace of the visit is designed around efficiency, and the minimal setup keeps the focus on the drinks themselves. Off-Peak Coffee is worth checking out if you are looking for creative coffee and matcha drinks with unique flavors. While the matcha itself was not the highlight for us, the drink menu has enough variety that there are still plenty of options worth trying. It feels like a good stop for a quick drink rather than a destination café experience, offering a menu that rewards exploration and delivers on creativity, even if the core ingredients do not always stand out as much as the combinations built around them.
