Customer Service!!!!! I hate shopping for work out clothes at the mall..but not here!! I was in a hurry and needed a couple of things fast. The customer service is excellent. I was helped by several. I ended up trying on a couple dozen items and left with 7. I appreciate the time and consideration the employees have here. There is no pressure to sell anything. What they do is go out of their way to make you comfortable and find the stuff you want and need including sizes and styles. They really listen and make shopping easy. The shop is located in the Crystal Court shopping area across Bear Street from the main mall. They are currently located on the third floor but was told they are moving downstairs sometime soon. I have been to this location a number of times along with the location in Irvine. This shop is definitely friendlier than then Irvine location. I am a fan of most Lulu work out and casual clothes..but the repeated great customer service I get at this location makes the experience here as good as it gets. read more

I've been a Lulu fan for such a long time that when I see this brand now, I feel like they have improved a lot. I enjoy the clothes that do make but still they need some changes at the stores. This store is located on the ground floor, right across from Apple. If you haven't heard of Lululemon it's pretty much a brand that sells exercise clothes for both men and women now! Before it was just women clothes but for the past few years they started making men's gear also. Depending on which staff you get it can be a either fun time or somewhat not nice nor helpful! But that can technically happen at many other stores as well. But I feel like the Santa Monica location has been pretty good with the staff they have! I do like the idea of getting a recycling bag every time you purchase an item from this store. Those bags have been pretty handy at times for everything from carrying food, other clothes, toys and plenty of other things. The price point has gotten a lot higher than before, when they first started. So I feel like the price is a bit too expensive for some people. Now a new sports bra that just came in is $100.00. That's just seems a little bit too ridiculous. Tip: I mostly look through their clearance rack to see if I can find any items that is final sale and marked at a discount. They will have red tags on them and you will not be able to return these items. Overall this store is a hit and miss sometimes for me. Usually though I will stop by and peak inside to see what's new and what's on sale. read more

My friends and I patiently waited through the virtual waitlist for Lululemon and a total of 8 people. Two of waited outside. We have a few military friends in our group as well. They have had no issues with purchasing items with their military discount at numerous of stores. My friend tried to purchase about $1k worth of items at this store and purchased $500 worth of Male items and then wanted to get $500 worth of female clothing too. A cashier with the word, "eternity" tattooed on his arm had told my friend, "you can only use it on male clothes." Although, if you look at their policy, it doesn't specifically limited to a gender. It does say, "these programs are subjected to change" but really? Isn't this a bit sexist? I personally like to buy male clothes and wear them sometimes, so is it fine if it's a girl, but not for a guy? So is Lululemon saying that I can have my military friend, whom is a female, come in and buy MALE clothes with military discount and deny the discount telling her the discount is for female clothing only?! Sexist? Discrimination? Bisexual people or gay and lesbians aren't allowed to use it for their preferred gender status? Even if it is part of the policy, please! Please state it on your website. This situation forced my military guy friend to ask a female friend to purchase the clothes for him. read more

Okay so I'm not a super big lululemon fan nor do I care to spend more that 10 minutes in a mall. I had a gift card and figured I might as well put it to use. I wish I had asked the sales associates name cause GOOD LORD SHE WAS SO NICE AND HELPFUL AND SWEET! I was looking for flare leggings and 1) she was quick to find my size and 2) she even suggested another pair of leggings that I hadn't thought to try on that ended up being the absolute winner and 3) she was very informative about the hemming service that I absolutely definitely needed cause I'm a shorty and those lululemons were real long. Anyways I just wanted to write a review for them cause I know how hard it can be to maintain a positive attitude in a mall but honestly every staff member I encountered was kind, patient and helpful! I live in Brea but came to this location on 08/10/21 since they have a larger selection! Everyone was so helpful and attentive! Twice, a man came up to me asking if I needed ask and to let me know he could grab me a size in the back if needed. Thought that was great customer service! Later, I was struggling to find my size in an Align Tank and within 30 seconds a lady (she was wearing a white short sleeve shirt and had glasses with dirty blonde hair) instantly came up and asked if I needed help finding a size! I was super grateful since there were no size 6's left but she was able to find a size 6 in the back in the exact color I wanted most! She even remembered my name after I was done trying on - great customer service!! The lady who helped me at the cash register was also so sweet! read more

If you're around Costa Mesa and want to shop, this lululemon store in south coast plaza is great for your shopping! My review is based on my recent experience here with my old pair of lululemon fast and free high waisted leggings. After about a 1.5 years,I noticed a tiny hole in the under crotch area and slight pilling. I asked the store employee if they did any repairs and they told me to bring in the item to see if it was possible to send it in. I brought in my item one random evening and received an email that at it was already ready for pickup after 1 store day. To my surprise, the hole in my leggings were fixed and sewn well very well. The pilling was just from normal wear and tear and they couldn't do anything about that part unfortunately. This location has Great service and efficient staff! Would highly recommend coming here! read more

No greeting; when I found somebody to help me with shorts for yoga they were not knowledgeable; the second person I found pointed me to sweat pants that I could use instead of shorts and then told me, "this is what what we have" when I told her I needed shorts. I went to this location at South Coast Plaza on 12/26/2022, the store was so hectic and busy but decided to try on some Leggings. I had an Amazing help by Shannon? She a little Fire cracker whom was in charge of the Dressing room that day she was quick, efficient and super friendly. Also Kyle, whom was also super helpful that day, he ended up taking my order, so I didn't have to wait in that long line. Between these 2 employees, I left there so impressed. This was one of my favorite stores I always stopped by, however, because of the recent management change, the current service sucks. If you just buy buy buy no problem, you want to return anything ok that's a NO. They will give you any ridiculous reasons not letting you return and give you the most ugly face they possible can, essentially the two white ladies at check out counter. The manager is a white guy with curl hair but seems like he likes to hide behind the desk and let his buddies handling return matters. I check the reviews many of 1 star reviews are about their attitude and customer service. I am pretty sure those mention the same ladies as I do. Please not only report on here but also go to corporate(gec@lululemon.com )or BBB to complain. If it's enough real feedback and complain to the corporate they will investigate and then either cut their hours or transfer them to another store. I went to corporate and explained to them about the situation. They solved my concern along with compensating some credits. So please don't be silence and let them hear our voice. read more

Huge, beautiful store located in the Crystal Court Side of South Coast Plaza! Great selection of clothing and accessories! I live in Rancho Cucamonga and had only been to the Victoria Gardens Store, which (in comparison) is tiny and sad. Tge staff at Rancho should all be forced to observe and shadow the staff here in Costa Mesa- everyone I encountered on the sales floor was friendly and helpful! Even the cashier went out of her way to be friendly to both me and my 13 year old daughter! At Victoria Gardens, I was lucky if anyone said hello, let alone helped me find my daughter items... There's just no comparison to the variety and quantity of merchandise here or the quality of employees... I will now make a point to drive all the way out to South Coast the next time I need Lulu gear for my daughter! read more

Terrible location to say the least. There was only one employee who was willing to help and I wish I got his name he was great. However, the female employees were very rude. The girl folding the leggings seemed upset to help another customer needed help with finding a shirt. Sports bras usually eat it pretty quickly with the frequency that I work out -- Su M Tu W Th and either F or Sat -- but Lululemon bras stand the test of time! I wear my Lululemon sports bras every week and they are so comfortable! Not like the cheap sports bras that feel like you're wrapped in duck tape! Lol. These are supportive but let you breathe. Also love love love the Wonder Under Pants -- feels like ballet leggings but thicker so you can wear them in public under a cute sweater -- looks great w Uggs :) Also have a puffer vest that is cut longer in the back than in the front -- great for keeping your booty warm against cold stadium seating. Their compression socks are great too -- perfect for lifting! Bought multiple pairs of shorts, pants, and tops for coaching and they're by far the most comfortable workout wear you will ever invest in -- no need to constantly be adjusting straps or waistbands during your workout! My friend recently went to this Lululemon store and was denied discount for being a first responder. She's a respiratory practitioner. She cares for Covid patients. But the store only recognize physicians and nurses. I quess Lululemon does not recognize respiratory practitioners of no importance in the medical field. Though they do anything they can to keep these patient's airway open. They are the only responders that are allowed to setup, and adjust patient ventilators. They also contribute to, and at times intubate very critical people. They are in the faces of very sick patients twelve hours a day. Unfortunately, the media only praises, and recognize physicians and nurses. I wish the general public can be educated that all hospital workers such as housekeeping (Clean, disinfect, and prepare the rooms for the next Covid admission) are also important team members to the hospital. Without this composition of professionals and employees there will not be a chain of survival and safety for patient's. Please keep this in your consciousness next time you see this type of discount offer at any cash register. God Bless every hospital worker regardless of your occupation! First off, I love the brand and I do enjoy this store. I just had an experience today that I was not expecting. I was trying on a pair of wunder under 7/8 in the dark red color when I noticed it was see through when bending over. Considering how dark the color is, I was not expecting this. After notifying a kind employee and showing her this problem, she notified her manager, Frankie. Frankie walks over and essentially tells me that I should try going up a size. To suggest that it is my problem that I was picking a size too small for myself is unbelievable. Regardless of how I felt, I gave her suggestion a try. Sure enough, I try the size up and it is still see through when bending over. I show Frankie this, and she responds with a "that sucks" and "there is nothing we can do". I completely understand that it is not their fault that the clothing item is see through, but to suggest no remorse and essentially make me feel like she does not care about this matter is unbelievable. And on top of that making me feel like I'm too large or big for the size I originally chose is just not right. Customer service should highlight that the person is not the issue, the clothing is the concern. I love the brand but this experience has left me with sadness and frustration. For $100 leggings, this was a terrible experience. read more

I tried the Men's ABC Classic Fit Pant at the South Coast Plaza and while it was relatively expensive compared to most pants out there, I thought it was a good fit. I gave a one star rating mostly because of overall Customer service (Ordering, Alterations, and just about everything else). I'll focus on just the alterations. There are plenty more to talk about. While I think it is good that they have a service for alterations, the process for getting it done is very poor. I had to send my pants for alteration and it involves ordering a bigger inseam size and coming in to the store so they can measure it (Even though I kept saying I just wanted it an inch less). I guess that seems like the right thing to do even though they already know the size I wanted. However, when I finally received my pants after the alterations, they did not even hem it to the correct size (one inch less). They did some very odd stitching (read butt ugly) that ended up having the same inseam size and even the manager Tracy and her employee acknowledged how poor the job was done. So, now I have the same size pants but with hideous stitching. Instead of Tracy offering to order the pants and have it automatically altered to the desired size, she wants me to go through the whole ordeal again (to order it to be shipped at home, come in so they can mark the size to what they already know, pick it up at the store, charge the credit card, get refund, etc). Lululemon does not honor People's time. Tracy did not get it and I ended up getting a refund. First time and last time Customer. read more

Located inside South Coast Plaza so Peking can be a little crazy. I always park at the very top floor. This store is very large and has an open in the front the show all their apparel. I had to get some pants hemmed for a Christmas present. Staff was very helpful and got it done within two days. SO HAPPY LULULEMON IS NOW OPEN!!! =) I visited this new location Thursday in hopes of finding a few pairs of Kahuna shorts that I haven't been able to find at other stores. As I entered, I was warmly greeted by Arden. She is so awesome! She complimented me on my Pacific Beach Hoodie that I purchased last November. Too bad that pattern is now EOL. :( Anywho, we continued talking and I told her that I was looking for the Kahuna Shorts, which she helped me locate. I ended up snagging two pairs. As we continued conversing, I mentioned how the Trainer shorts I was wearing at that moment (yes, I was completely decked out in lululemon attire!) were washed once and the stitching was beginning to unravel. She offered comfort to my situation. In case you are not familiar, lululemon offers complimentary hemming with purchase...as well as alterations (but sometimes that may vary upon location). They offered to have my shorts shipped out to the factory for repair free of charge! NICE! Seriously folks, why buy Nike, Under Armour, Lucy, et al...I feel a cliché coming...You get what you pay for! Visited this store for the first time ~1 month ago. 2 minutes ago I was taking a shower, randomly remembering what a frickin PLEASANT experience I had at this lululemon store at south coast plaza on the PM shift of August 22, 2021. My needy little butt literally interacted with 5 different employees during my visit, all which were incredibly STELLAR, kind, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. Honestly, it's so hard to find humans like that in general. I hope the hiring manager reads this post to give high regards to their workers; throw them a pizza party, or vegan kale juice party...idk whatever they eat; and give them the proper reward they deserve. This Lulu is located across the bridge from the main structure of SCP with plenty of parking in the underground lot. I've never had a problem with service at the cashier, in the dressing rooms, on the floor, or even with the hemming section. The options are endless and they always have a generous variety of sizes and patterns neatly organized on the shelves so it's convenient to grab an Energy Bra or Speed Tights in my favorite colors in a jiffy! I'm 5'2 so naturally, I have to have my full length pants hemmed but it doesn't cost a penny and they're usually available for pickup within 2 business days. The quality of their products vary but if you do your research and are knowledgable about what consumers recommend, then you're golden. All of my tights, tank tops, and sports bras have gone through some of the most torturous of workouts including distance running, olympic weightlifting, interval training, etc and they have lasted through the blood and sweat. Great products at a hefty price tag, but worth it if you shop and care for your apparel wisely! read more

This store is trash. Selection is awful. Store is cramped. They put a couple new things up to make it look flashy but it's all garbage. The store has really gone downhill. I'll get my staples from online if I have to but I might take a break from Lululemon for a while. Especially if this is how you treat your R&D people. Lululemon has so much hype! Well today I finally thought it was time to drop some dolla$ on some high quality gym wear! I've actually been in a Lululemon before - it was in a different state. I remember looking at a pair of leggings & was shocked to see the $98 price tag! After all they were just a pair of plain black leggings. Nothing seemed so special about them. Ever since then, I didn't really want to go back in there since nothing really caught my eye. Today I purchased the lighten up bra - I have had my eyes on it for awhile & the strappy back is unique compared to a regular Nike sports bra. To me, the aesthetics was WORTH paying the $50 price tag! After all, this bra is so well designed that it looks dressy & it definitely is versatile, meaning you could wear it in the gym & for everyday - that is awesome! It was pretty busy when I was there, & I thought it was unique how the employees write your name on the fitting room. However, like a previous yelper said, the mirrors are a bit shocking! The lighting isn't very flattering either. The only thing I didn't disliked was the selection of color ways. On the website, the lighten up bra has several different color ways. This store only had black. However, I didn't ask an employee if they had any in the back, so there could have been. I love the location of the store - we parked in the small parking lot in front of Crate & Barrel - makes it easy to get in & out quick~ I'm pretty positive I'll be back! read more

Waiting patiently in line at the south coast plaza location when the self proclaimed manager advises that the store will be closing at 7pm. Considering it was only 6pm, we decided to wait, mostly because they had said if were in by 7 we are good. At 6:45 he says they can't accept anyone else in the store. With 3 people in front of us. We were furious. If they told us they wouldn't let people in at 645 we would of understood but no they decided we to call it early because "they need to go home". safe to say ill never go to this location again. read more
