So I came here back in august (this review is long overdue) with one of my girlfriends. I wanted to pick up a couple sports bras. As I was checking out, I asked the guy ringing me up if he could use my husbands first responder discount (it definitely makes a difference). He looked at me like I was insane for asking such and rudely said "no he has to be here. We can't just give it to you. He has to pay." I said ok no problem and continued with the purchase. Fast forward about a month later I go in with my husband. He buys about $500 worth of clothes for himself and I only had one sports bra. It was the same guy that ringed me up as prior. I knew he recognized me by the look he gave. As he scanned each item and read the total amount my husband let him know he was a first responder and has a discount. The guy says "that's fine but you can't buy this sports bra." Immediately he asked "why not? I'm paying for this." He goes "well it's not for you. It's for her"'and points to me. At this point I was so irritated I said "I'm not sure what the issue is. Last time I came here you said my husband had to be present and pay and now that he's here...present and paying....you're telling me he can't buy me this one sports bra when he is buying over $500 worth of clothes." He said "I'll make an exception but next time it's going to be a no." Really lululemon? That's how you treat your customers? This guy was a piece of work with horrible attitude. It shouldn't matter WHAT the person is buying if they are the ones with the discount buying! Honestly, this location sucks anyway. I was waiting in like for 1hr & 30 mins, someone capped off the line around 6:10 pm & they close at 7pm. There were a total of 4 people in line that all had returns including myself & they didn't let us in at 6:45 because of how big the one person insides return was & there were no other customers in the store. I & 3 other people only have to return stuff & a guy told us that due to their new measures that it takes longer to return which is bs considering I had gone the day before to return something & it was done in less then two mins. It is very unprofessional to make people wait in line for hours on end to not service them 10-15 mins BEFORE they close. If you know it take 2 hours to get into the store from a certain point you should cap it off at 5pm to close at 7 with Happy customers, one of the mangers couldn't even come out & apologize herself, she sent someone to do it for her. I really do this it's horrible customer service, this ain't the first time I've had an issue with the employees here, I'm a loyal customer to LULU, but I will not be spending my money at this store. read more

Superb customer service from Alondra! Best customer experience at a Lululemon store I've ever had! Alondra assisted me in locating an Align High Rise Pant with Pockets, in Pastel Blue, over the phone. This item was sold out online & with low inventory in California. I explained to her that I already owned the pant, but mine was damaged this weekend. Since I am out of town, Alondra offered to have the item shipped and emailed my receipt while I was still on the line. Now, I will be able to wear my matching Pastel Blue, Define Jacket Luon. Thank you Alondra! I will definitely continue to shop Lululemon Athletica when I am in the neighborhood. Poor judgement and experience of the store lead who told me to leave the store or she would call security to be escorted out. Their system could not locate an item purchased as a gift for my mom - 75 yrs old -with the tags on and unused. initially told by the cashier the exchange could be done. Then the store lead could not confirm the purchase even though my customer profile showed a transaction history. As a favor, she offered me the sale price even though I paid full price. When asked if she could accommodate since their system should have my history, she refused. i was cordial as $50 was not the issue but the principa. The customer service here is exceptional! I work in retail and I know that having a smile on your face with customers who come in right before you close is difficult to do because you just want to get out, but the girls here were very friendly and welcoming. I am bummed I didn't get her name, but the young girl who helped me with my return was very helpful in finding a solution to ultimately make me a very satisfied customer. I love lululemon. As an avid yogi, I look for workout clothes that are fashionable and long lasting. I am constantly washing workout clothes! Lulu has wonderful leggings that really accentuate your body. They are not all great though. I have purchased some that I was less than pleased with but Lulu has always stood by its products and taken them back. I get that Lulu runs on a scarcity model but sometimes it sucks when things aren't restocked for months, especially the tall ABC pants that my fiancé loves. Also, would highly not recommend their sports bras for any girls larger than a D cup size. They are horrible and uncomfortable and offer no support (go to Victoria's Secret for that). read more

All long time lululemon customers are aware of the exchange policy for fabric that begins to pill (become textured where they are not supposed to be textured) FOR FREE. These girls refused me not once, but three times! I have been a customer of lululemon since 2012 honey since before you had even heard of the brand. I have exchanged multiple items over the years for the same problem with no back lash from any store employees. I accused them of accusing me of taking advantage of the company's policy just to fluster them and make them realize, it's the company policy. You don't get to decide who gets their free exchange just because you're the employee and we are the customers. I was one of those people who said they would NEVER spend that kind of $ on workout clothes...well I caved, kind of. I have been on the lookout for the perfect pair of leggings and to no avail, kept spending $40-60 and return them cause I hated them. I went here for the 1st time in my life today and bought 2 pairs of the Align legging, I fell in love with the material, I was going for everyday leggings. I was nervous the sales people would be snooty, but everyone from the girl who helped me find my size to the girl who marked them for hemming and cashier were all sooo nice and friendly. I don't usually write reviews for shopping mall stores but I've been here on numerous occasions and every single time the workers here are super accommodating and helpful that I feel compelled to give this location 5 stars. I'm always greeted with a smile upon walking in and the workers are always knowledgable, and super helpful in helping me find an item that I saw online, or giving recommendations and grabbing extra sizes in the dressing rooms. Another huge plus is that Lulu provides free hemming for all their products - they measure it for you and you pick it up in a few days. But what sets this location apart is the customer service...I've never had a bad experience here and the employees are always willing to bend over backwards to help out. read more

Just as everyone else seems to be saying: HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE. My experience at this location made me rethink buying from this brand altogether. When you're spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on a product you expect the service to be somewhat helpful and kind. Is that too much to ask nowadays? Where's the kindness girls? The sales associates in the pants section questioned why I grabbed the size 4 pants...when I replied it was for my mother (then handed it to my mother) she said, "Oh." Way to shame me! I'm a size 6 in lululemon for your reference - not that it should matter. Every woman is beautiful no matter her size. Also, she told me not to touch the pants...that she'd grab it herself. Ok, if I'm buying $100+ pants, I need to touch the dang pants. Secondly, I asked her if there was a specific pant in a different color and she just said no, they were out of season then turned away and started conversing excitedly with a friend who came into the store. UNPROFESSIONAL. I asked the cashier the same question and she said I could order that color online and have it delivered to my home!! The seemingly grumpy, unhelpful associate grew upset with me as I browsed the pants and touched them (gasp). So she stormed off to the back. She happened to pass by my husband when she said to another associate, "UGH I've got to get out of here, I can't stand that girl." Tsk tsk...my husband overheard you. DISAPPOINTED. Not impressed with this location at all! Been buying from here for years now. My experience was this Sunday. I went to exchange a shirt I got for Christmas. I even had a gift receipt. Well, my shirt was not on sale & they only had it online. So I simply wanted to exchange the size. However with my gift receipt, I apparently couldn't! I could but I had to pay the difference. My sister got a promo on the shirt when she bought it. I could only return it for the sale price & pay the difference to reorder!!! Say what!!&&@$!@!&! Same shirt, I just wanted to change the size! In all my years of shopping, never ever have a heard of such a ridiculous thing in all my life!!!!! I had 2 sales associate tell me they could do nothing. Finally I'm guessing the manager came over & asked what the problem was! Umm hello, duh!! For the price of everything in that store, lamest policy ever!! I got the corporate # & called them immediately! So yes basically, she said the same thing, even though I just wanted to exchange for the same shirt in a different size, I could not get the correct price. She offered me a gift card to make up the difference so I could reorder. However now I would have to drive back to the store and wait 24-48hrs. Seriously lame!!!!!! I realized on my way home, duh, I should have just lied. Said I have to receipt and then I would have been able to just return & reorder. I must have asked three different girls for help today, and all three of them did not seem to care or help much. Stood in check out line for 15 minutes while 3 people behind the registers were busying themselves with chores involving scissors. Browbeaten by Sidney S., much to my chagrin, I am compelled to compose a review of lululemon's running socks. He insists that I must do it for the children. Once upon a time I was opposed to $14 running socks. I could not overlook the hefty price tag for a pair of socks. Nonetheless, my friends raved with enthusiasm regarding the quality of lululemon's socks. I was not easily convinced nor could I be persuaded. However, one day I noticed that these socks were on sale for $9 a pair. Now, that's within my price range. So, I bought four pairs and hoped for the best. I took them for a trial run for three miles. The socks elicited wonderment!! My gracious....no blisters and no pain. The socks are extraordinarily great - lululemon is the authority on workout apparel. Namaste! read more

** RUDE EMPLOYEES ** I walked in with a purpose and went straight towards the bra rack. I young gal working at the Yoga pants section looked at me and then glances away. Not a "hello" or even an acknowledgement as we looked right at each other. It gets better, another employee came up to put a couple sports bra back on the rack. She was no more than 24 inches from me and not one word. She had a ridiculous looking dark bandana wrapped around her head and some heavy duty leather bracelets on her wrist. She looked like she was trying out for a gig as a backup dancer for J.Lo's tour. It appears she was the supervisor or manager for the day. As I search for my size and then once again wandered over to the yoga pant sections, no one bothered to greet me. The young girl working the counter (she was wearing a hot pink T-shirt & black shorts) turned around and pretended to straighten the bins. If you dislike dealing with the public, you SHOULDN'T work in retail. Besides, the majority of your customers are motivated buyers and they are there to replenish their workout wardrobe. It is not that difficult saying HELLO to your customers. After 20 minutes in the store, the ONLY person that talked to me was a gal name Elizabeth working the dressing rooms. What gets me is a few regular customers entered the store and this bandana wearing woman greeted them, chatted them up, laughed with them, etc. I WAS TOTALLY IGNORED. It shouldn't matter if you spend $50 or $300 in the store, the employees need to learn to greet their customers. You have good workout clothes but not good enough to justify ignoring your customers that are spending $$$$ in your store. Get over yourselves. You might not care, but I will be spending my $$$$ somewhere else. read more

Disclaimer: This review is only for this store in particular. I have been wearing Lulu's pants/shorts for about 5 to 6 years and its no secret that I love them and refuse to wear any other brand of workout clothing. And I have had no problem returning items to their headquarters and getting store credit. Now that I've said the positives about the brand, let me get into my awful experiences at this store. The employees are generally helpful, but sometimes it varies from store to store, but after going into this store twice I absolutely HATE it. The first time I went in to purchase a second pair of running pants (different from the ones I currently have from there) and I asked the sales person if I needed a smaller size because they seemed big, but she was very adamant in telling me that they weren't. So I listened, purchased the pants, went on a run the next morning and the pants were too large. Well I was able to return them for store credit (going through headquarters). I went back a second time yesterday to use the gift card because I still needed pants and for lack of a better word the girl that was discussing how the pants fit with me yesterday was an absolute *ITCH. I think she was just having a bad day and I do not have her name; I considered walking out of the store and not buying anything, but I had a gift card and Lulu is too out of the way to make a trip to another store. At the time I did not realize there are now 2 other stores in Orange County, South Coast used to be the only one. So needless to say even though this will be the closest store to my new house, I will NOT return to this location. read more

The. Best. Workout/lounge gear ever. People wonder why we spend $82 on a pair of crops? Try the Wunder Unders & you'll be sold. I still wear my original pairs I purchased 6 years ago... For lounging mostly now... But that's only because I now have drawers full of lulu! But that's how long your gear will last, and then some!! And trust me, I WORKOUT in these gym clothes! My gear is usually a drippin' hot mess by the time I'm done with my workout so for my crops to withstand that torture for five years and still hold up. That's worth my money! I can say the same for the tanks and sports bras too. I wore many of the tanks & pants throughout both my pregnancies & they hold their shape. I love how versatile their clothes are too. As a momma running around on weekends you'll find me in lulu 90% of the time. So it's a no brainier for me, I'm actually buying workout clothes & my weekend clothes too haha! I was across from LuLu Lemon at the Apple store when I noticed the high influx of customers venturing into LuLu Lemon. Having never owned a pair I decided I would take a gander. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by Elyse who prompted me towards the guy selection. I was amazed at the diversity for the guys' section. It was maybe only five minutes before I was sold on a pair of the pace-breaker shorts and ABC pants. Unfortunately, the pants were a bit long for me. Elyse, however, assured me that Lulu offers free hemming for their pants, all performed under 2 business days. I mistakenly forgot about my pants for about a month. Realizing my mistake I called the store and found, to my relief, they still had my pants safely stored. Overall, I must admit to incredible service and will be returning for future purchases. I come here for the free yoga on Sunday mornings...enough said. Other than that, I feel Lululemon stores are an over-merchandised, over priced mess. Each rack is jam packed, and I still can't find my size in all that mess! Just enter the doors and take a quick glance, it's like a Ross or Marshalls. I just can't face that type of madness. Okay, maybe not that bad, but I hate sifting through stuff on the racks...those spaghetti strap tops fall off the hanger, get tangled...etc etc. I've only purchased one thing here, a $65 workout top, that I had a $35 gift card for...talk about the gift that gets you giving...from your wallet. It still has the tags on as I'm on the fence about a workout top so expensive! Anyhow...there is free yoga on Sunday mornings. Large open space, and the instructors are fun, the class is not intimidating. This is a great service and for that, I rate them four stars. read more

I am not going to lie, I avoided lululemon for the longest time because I thought that their clothing was way too expensive. Then I started going to Lulu for the run club they have as well as Yoga on Sundays. One of the incentives of the run club was getting a pair of socks after running a certain amount of miles. Once I tried the socks, I realized how much better they were than my cheap socks from Target. Recently I got a long sleeve shirt from Lulu as a prize and I was amazed at how comfortable it was. I now understand that Lulu knows how to make good workout gear. A few weeks later, I broke down and bought another shirt because I loved the Run Swiftly longsleeve tee so much. I am sure that my closet is slowly going to start filling up with Lululemon stuff and I am going to tell myself that the free yoga on Sunday and other classes they offer hep balance the higher price tag of the clothing. read more
