This is another one of the really big, touristy, waterfront restaurants you so often find at the beach. It is the kind of place that I would have loved as a kid. But see it as A-ok now. Don't get me wrong, when I come to the beach, I love seeing the water as I eat. But these places are very gimmicky with the huge spaces and off the wall entertainment. And even though it would be really fun for a family beach trip, the food falls a little short at this type of place. Was my food bad? No, not really. Was it really good? No, not really. Use the website wait list option-genius for our family of 6! We waited 5 min (or less) when we arrived!! While there wasn't live music performing while we were there we found it to be light-hearted and fun and super family friendly! The food really was so good. I have a minor (in my opinion) food allergy but they took it so serious and communicated how they would handle it and how and when it would be delivered to our table. They clearly take this serious and want to ensure the safety of all their guests. When I was asked about a salad as a side, I said "I'll take a Caesar that the safest for my tomato allergy" & he said "ma'am anything you order with me is safe for you" We would gladly return! Didn't get a pick of the amazing food, but had to share our wonderful experience. The food was the best we had while in Florida and you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere. The big thing to shoutout is how they handle food allergies. My mom who was with us has one and as soon as we mentioned it the waitress let us know they are very sensitive to allergies as the owners child has one. So whenever you have one the manager handles everything from the order, to observing it in the kitchen, and delivering it to the table. They are also very knowledgeable about what is in the foods they have an have so many alternatives they offer. Just 100% perfect service! read more

This was an amazing dining experience. We had a party of four and had the following entrees: shrimp and grits, lobster dip, bbq pork sandwich, bowl of gumbo. The food was all excellent! There was a long wait for the bathroom also as 3 of the 6 toilets were not functioning in the women's bathroom. Sorry folks, but I don't understand the hype on this place. It felt like a tourist trap deluxe. I'll start with the good: this place has a really fun and upbeat environment. It's right off the water and there was live music playing when we walked in. It's an open air restaurant and we sat right by the doors and had the breeze blowing in on us through our meal, which we both really liked. However, the bad definitely outweighed any good for us here. The drink menu is surprisingly small for a place like this. We each ordered a margarita and they were advertised as 16oz. This was definitely not the case. They were served in small plastic cups with tons of ice and barely any liquid. Four swallows in, my $8 margarita was finished. There was a hole in the cup on the margarita my friend ordered, which drained half of his drink onto the table. When he pointed this out to the waitress, she just dumped the drink into another glass but didn't offer to have a new one made for him to make up for what had clearly leaked out all over the table. Fast forward to dinner. We ordered the blackened fish tacos and the fried crab claw basket. We also ordered a side of fried green tomatoes. Most of what was on the menu was fried, which was a put off to me because I'm not a fan of breaking or fried food. The tomatoes were good, but everything else was a let down. The fish tacos barely had any fish in them and a $2 upcharge was added ok because it was "grouper season". Uhhh, the tacos are just listed as fish tacos for $16. You shouldn't charge your patrons more at random because you decide to stick a different fish in there. For the crab claw basket, we were missing our fries. I brought this up to the waitress at the end (she never stopped by during the meal to see how we were doing or refill drinks), and I asked to have a couple of dollars taken off to reflect that 1/3 of that entree was missing. Her response? "I don't know, I will have to ask the manager." WHAT? You don't give me the food and then have to get a managers permission to not charge me the food you didn't give me in the first place? I'm full of nope on that one, friends. If you are going to stop in here, come for the atmosphere and live music and have a couple of beers. Then go to dinner somewhere else. read more

We were taken to a picnic table "outside", around the corner, & in the far back. I persuaded my husband to request a different table and we were moved "inside" to the center of the dining area in front of the stage area. I'm so glad we moved. The view is absolutely gorgeous, the live music was great, and we enjoyed watching the sea plane offering rides right from the edge of the beach. The food was good. We enjoyed the chips and queso appetizer with an extra basket of chips. The blackened shrimp was spicy, but not too spicy. My husband really liked his burger. Each time we visit the entree I order is not available to order. We had a 2 hour wait today to find out I had to order something else. Don't think I will return. We came here for dinner on a family vacation and had a great experience. They had call-ahead seating and we told them there would be 3 kids and 8 adults- they estimated 45 minutes. We got there and the hostess had us seated almost immediately (very helpful with three kids under 3)! During our brief wait we checked out the huge merch area and loved all the Jimmy Buffet stuff. My husband was in heaven! The kids walked out the the bay seating area and there were bungees swings that looked so fun and hair-braiding and henna tattoos. When we got to our table our awesome server Tony got our drink orders out fast and was so great with the kids. When the 2 and 3 year old were upset that their mom and dad's Miami Vice cocktails had whipped cream and cherries and they weren't allowed a sip, Tony went to the bar and got plastic shot glasses filled with whipped cream and cherries for them to have. The kids loved it! He recommended the crabby melt and three of us ordered it. Oh my gosh! It was such a delicious combo of crab and cheese on an open faced sandwich. Tony also said he liked to eat the leftovers with eggs the next day (I did it and it was awesome). Others at our table got fish and chips, fish tacos, grilled shrimp and fried jumbo shrimp. Everyone was happy with their food. We also had onion rings and queso as apps and they were very large, shareable plates. The atmosphere is so laid back and a great place to bring the family. There was a musician playing live towards the end of our dinner and the kids danced and entertained the people nearby.
