They come out piping hot and fried perfectly with nice blend of feta, diced tomatoes, and blend of Mediterranean spices. One of the most flavorful fries I have had. I ordered their signature plates and was pleasantly surprised by how tender the chicken was. Often times chicken can be dry in Mediterranean grills but they nailed it. The portion size is very ample, and everything looks and tastes very fresh. Being a fan of spicy, I paid extra to order a harissa dip and it did not disappoint. This old cowboy grew up eating lots of grilled meat and this place knows how to make it healthy AND make my taste buds tingle with delight! I once lived in Izmir, Turkey and dove into Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food and culture. The food here reminds me of those meals and times except with higher quality! The decor is a modern, clean and with a natural feel the bright and airy woodwork and plants on the wall provide (artificial, but look very real). It looks exceptionally clean and smells heavenly! I've been here 4 times and the meals and dishes are of consistent high quality! My last trip, I had grilled chicken and ground sirloin kabobs with the grilled tomato. The meats are seasoned perfectly, moist and very tender on a bed of long grain flavorful white rice. The salad greens are coated in a tasty dressing and are appealing in texture and looks. The tomatoes are ripe on the salad and the grilled ones are not overcooked but have gentle char to pull out the delectable flavor! The pita is lightly heated and the cool tzatziki or cacik is tart and refreshing! I should add the presentation is perfectly eye-catching and they are plated on a real plate! Real stainless flat ware as well. A tip... Try the Mandarin Lime soda from the soda fountain! It is dreamy in flavor and compliments the grilled meats! There is a patio and it gives you a vacation spot in the middle of Dallas! Plenty of parking! The prices are very reasonable as the food is grilled when you order, not in advance. This place has been on my "to try" list for a while. I arrived a little after the lunch rush hour. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. After placing my order, I looked for a table. Every single table inside and outside was dirty and was covered in used dishes. Obviously, no had cleaned up for quite some time. I found a table with the least amount of dirty dishes, sat down, and started to wait. As I waited, I noticed that the person who took my order had started to clean up. I thought to myself, "how is she going to bring my food if she is busy cleaning the restaurant?" My inner voice was right: she wasn't. So after waiting a good while, I mean how long does it take to make a wrap, I went to the front counter. Sure enough, there was my food, sitting all by itself. Lonely. As I approached, the cashier walked away. I tried to get the attention of the cook but he ignored me and walked away too. So I stood there. So I finally said, quite loudly: "can I please get my food?" The cashier, who had been sitting down in a closet-type structure came out and would not give me my food but walked it to my table. What wonderful service! The food itself was below average. I started to eat my wrap and found that my some of my lettuce was not just wilted but black. Utterly gross. I ate around the blackness but could not finish the wrap, which by the way was flavorless. I've had a lot of gyros in my life and this one was way below average. The fries, however, were crispy and the only good thing about the meal. So, in sum: service sucked, food sucked, cleanliness sucked. Ain't no friggin' way I am ever returning. read more
