We've been coming to this Luna Grill for years. We ordered the harissa chicken through DoorDash today. It usually comes with the sauce on it plus an extra one. On the DoorDash ordering menu, the options are to add sauces that are free or cost extra. The harissa sauce costs extra. Obviously if this item comes with more sauce, there's no reason add another which costs extra. Right? Wrong. Maybe. Who knows. The food came with barely any sauce on the chicken and no extra sauce. Which makes the dish not quite what it's supposed to be. It's just flat cut chicken. So we called to reorder. Us: Does the item comes with the sauce? Mikayla: Yes Us: Is it extra? Mikayla: No Us: Ok so you didn't send it on the last order. Mikayla: It's bc you indicated no sauce. Us: Bc it was extra charge and it already comes w it. Mikayla: But you said no sauce. Us: Bc it comes with it. Mikayla: Yes it does. Us: Okay can you just send more sauce this time? Mikayla: It'll be extra charge. Us: Ok can we speak to manager? Mikayla: Speaking. Us: You're the manager? Mikayla: Yes. Us: Okay, so you can't just add more sauce bc you didn't give what's supposed to come w it? Mikayla: It's extra charge. Us: But you said it comes w it! Mikayla: FINE! I'LL THROW IN MORE SAUCE! And click. She hung up on us w her weird circular reasoning and horrid attitude. When my husband called back, pissed off, the poor guy on the other end tried very hard to cover for Miffed Mikayla and turns out Luna Grill has multiple managers. Karen will literally keel over bc she will never be able to speak to the manager . The guy actually said: "Um I... don't know who the manager is." Then: "Um... she's the... manager... on duty." Then: "Um... Ana is the manager." Then: "She's... one of... the managers." He really pissed my husband off. But I laughed. Terrific place. Really enjoyed the food, the ambience, and the service. And the price! For about $60, we've had a family of five (two adults, two grandparents, and one child.) pretty well. We had the sampler platter, the chicken, pita, and a falafel pita. All terrific. I highly recommend the garlic feta sauce; there are several options, but this one is very potent if you like garlic, and adds a huge depth of flavor to the meal. Skip the fries and get the salad, im a huge fries guy and the fries here are lacking in flavor and just nothing special. Do get the falafel as their are quite flavorful and moist. On this visit the Gyro i ordered was a bit try... so order at your own will. Summary, go here out of necessity, if you have other options, save your $ & go else where. read more
