I was soooo waiting for this place to open...I loved them when I lived in Ventura, CA!! Well, they are busy, and I had the Gyros plate and the meat was a lil dry and the fries too salty! Others' salads were delish! So, I will be back for another try. But Mgmt should note that you can't be serving dried out gyro meat and dial back that salt seasoning on the fries! We had grilled shrimp as they were out of beef? It was delicious. As was the Greek salad. However salad dressing was in a plastic packet which I had trouble opening. I then put it in one of their small containers so as to have dressing on the side! Now for my rant...$the rice was such a disappointment. Plain white rice no flavor or seasonings. To be truly Mediterranean you have to have rice pilaf! Cooked in chicken broth and lots of butter. I asked about pilaf and they acted like they had no idea what I meant. I typically come here for lunch when I'm in town for doctors appointments. The food is great. The chickpea salad is always delicious. The chicken and gyro kebab meat are always done well. The service is excellent. The 3 or 4 times I've had lunch here I've had my service dog (seizure alert) and baby in a stroller with me and the staff are incredible. They have helped me out each time to get to a table. They are friendly and courteous. Not just to me but to all sit down guests. I've seen the front of house staff attend to the different tables asking how the food was, if guest would like trays removed, etc. It might not be a sit down restaurant but it feels like a sit down restaurant. read more

I love the food at Luna Grill, but no matter how many times I order online and pick up it is always and I mean always always wrong. They leave out ingredients and by the time I get home and open up everything and eat it, I realize that a few ingredients have been left out. I think they need to do a much better job when they get the take out orders of really looking at them and checking them. It's a shame because the food is good, but unless you are there inspecting everything it's consistently disappointing with the takeout order, not being correct. Luna Grill is going downhill. Last night I ordered the Santorini Bowl with Chicken. The chicken was good and that is where it ends. The bowl was almost all rice. Very little kale, just a few tiny chopped pieces, very little tomato and 2 pieces of cucmber. Almost no couscous, no schug, no tzatziki. Rice is a cheap filler and they load up the bowl with it. The one in Palm Desert is better, in my opinion. Won't be back to this location. read more
