This is the worst customer service experience I ever had. Really shity employees and management. Very poor customer service. We ordered for 3 people food total about $95 however we asked for garlic sauce and the kids who work there refused to give it to us and said its a dollar if you want it. Well am a customer who used to go there every week and spend about $350 a month there and no respect. Everytime they do something wrong but the food is good so I keep coming. They always make mistakes on my food and i know it happens but losing a customer over a dollar thats stupid and shity. Maybe the kids running that place need to learn some respect and the manager should find a different job to do other than telling his employees ( the kids) to treat customers like shit. I will be reporting this brunch to BBB. read more

I placed an Uber eats order tonight for the kids. I got my order and it was incorrect. I checked my Uber wats receipt, and I was charged correctly. I called the restaurant to rectify the mistake. I order a lamb kabob plate and ordered and extra skewer of lamb. When I got the order it was an extra skewer of ground sirloin. Not only was this incorrect and not what we wanted to eat, but it's also a different up charge, $8.75 vs $4.99. I called and got someone on the phone and explained the situation. Instead of fixing it - the woman kept saying it was correct. I kept telling her it wasn't and she started to argue with me. I offered to even drive there and show her the receipt. She said no need because her receipt said ground sirloin. I said perhaps there was a communication error thru the computers, but I just wanted my kabob. She told me I can take it up with Uber eats. I asked for the manager. Allegedly she was the manager, named Juanita. Customer service 101 - just make it right. Don't argue. We are talking about a difference of $3.76. Either refund it, give me credit, or give me what I ordered. Especially since I frequent this place. I called Uber eats. They not only refunded me, but they also gave me a credit towards a future order. That's customer service. Juanita could learn from them. Few things in the food world make me happier than a restaurant that puts effort into the presentation of their To Go Orders. Luna Grill has always been good at this! No matter what we order it looks amazing when it arrives. Today, I ordered the Modern Greek Salad with Falafel. All the ingredients are super fresh. Not one piece of brown salad, everything was well balanced and the vinaigrette was very nicely seasoned. The falafel is very flavorful. You basically get punched in the mouth with flavor and I'm so happy to receive this beating. I didn't even want to use a sauce, they were that good. We usually order Luna delivery but today we ate in restaurant. So delicious. They're service was quick and food was fresh. My son ate the Mediterranean flatbread (no tomatoes) which is his usual. I love the Santorini bowl because it has a little bit of everything. I just get a pita bread on the sides. Hubs gets the signature plate with chicken and gyro which looks quiet filling! David was our team member that helped and was super kind and appreciative we dined in. Definitely our go to for fresh and quick dinner. read more

Luna grill is always solid, but you can tell that it's starting to get too large of a chain, and expanding too far away from San Diego. Olive Garden started off as great restaurant, then they grew too big and were eventually sold to a large holding company.. quality went to hell and now it's a bit of a joke restaurant. This new Luna Grill was built in a nice location in the Promenade mall next to the movie theater. Most people would say it's a bit too small. Service was fine, and even included a thanks for coming in as we left. The food was okay, but it just wasn't the same as noticed by the older lettuce leaves in our salad. This location kinda reminds me of Daphne's, which means it's good, but it's also kinda cheap... Tips - They have Sumac (The red spice in the glass Parmesan shaker ) as a condiment. I recommend it on their salad.. - They do have a check-in deal here ( $5 off a shareable)... Feta Fries are my go-to. read more

I had heard so much about Luna Grill and as soon as I saw this place open up right outside of the Promenade mall I wanted to try it! Every time I walked by I saw it filled with people so I had high expectations. The atmosphere inside is nice. You order at the counter but it feels more upscale with the pretty decor. I'll just state the pros now- it is a healthier option and I did leave feeling good. We tried two plates - the chicken and the gyro ones. The gyro was extremely dry and unlike any gyro I have ever had before. It was shaved very thin and almost felt fake. Maybe I am used to the Halal guys with lots and lots of flavor. It just didn't cut it for me. The chicken was a little better... but it still didn't have much flavor. The saving grace was the yogurt-like dip that they had on the side. Without that, there really wouldn't be any flavor. It was pretty pricy for the amount of food you get... ~$12 a plate. All in all, it's a healthy option. Will I crave it again? Probably not. Thank you for staying open for us! This place was a tad hard to find. It's near the theater and by CPK. You park for the theater and walk in to the center of the pedestrian area. Had chicken kabobs which were great. They had run out of rice (we ordered at closing time) and gave us double salad and humus and pita, which was more than adequate. We love Luna! read more

I was super excited about trying the food, I ordered via Doordarsh. My order had gyro and combo plate. 60 bucks, Gyro was not wrapped, they gave me couple pieces of bread. Cabbage salad wasnt all that, the combo Plate also....ooooo the chicken was plain horrible. I didn't eat it as not only it wasn't marinated but also not cooked and as an expecting mom, nope!!! I won't risk it thank you. The rice was dry and overall I can say I am not happy at all about what I had. I don't think I will ever order a food from this place. read more

Great location in the outside of the Promenade mall. You cam easily go to movies before or after without feeling rushed. They even have a few beers on tap to get your drink on. The decor was very nice. For a causal eatery I wasn't expecting that. Its not a huge space inside and during lunch hour every table was full. The menu is pretty big. I ended up ordering a chicken kabob plate and my friend got a salmon plate. My food was overall good. Highlights would be the chicken (super moist), the hummus that I paid extra for (next time I will replace the salad with that), and the pomegranate lemonade they had on tap as well. My issues are with the prices (seemed way to high compared to other Mediterranean places I frequent but then again it is the mall location), the salad had maybe half a teaspoon of dressing on it, and the rice was super bland. Thank goodness for the little white yogurt sauce that came on my plate. I will try again for sure, and focus on the items I truly enjoyed. read more

The food itself gets 3 stars. The chicken kabob is good, the beef kabob is okay but comes with burnt veggies (totally inedible), and the lamb kabob is smelly and dry. The service is poor, which drops their rating to 2 stars. We asked veggies that wasn't so burnt. The manager brought another plate of veggies out, which was still quite a bit burnt, but he wasn't apologetic. Instead, he said that the veggies get charred because the fire needs to be at certain temperature to cook the meat, and he repeatedly told us that he'd have to charge us next time for extra veggies. The staff is always friendly and food is always very good! The setting is very clean and inviting.

My mom ordered a Gyro Pita and was served what looked like bark. There was no meat to it, more like they picked the discarded outer layer shavings and served it to her. If you pinched it, it snapped in half. When we left, she handed the untouched plate to the cashier, who said "so sorry sweetie" in a condescending tone, offering no refund or sincere apology. We will never be ordering from here again. I still can't believe they served this to a customer. I think the cashier was the manager, too. Ordered a Modern Mediterranean salad with Gyro meat to go. Not impressed. For $15.86 you would expect more Gyro meat than a small gyro, but it was a small portion. Additionally, found an olive pit the hard way. You are way better off getting a Gyro salad elsewhere with better quality and a lower cost. read more
