While their treats were good, customer service is tremendously lacking. I wasn't going to write a review because I wanted to give them an opportunity to make it right, however, they did not. Never work with a business that takes no accountability when they mess up and inconveniences you. Not only do they not provide pictures of completed custom orders before delivery (I was told "you will see it when it is delivered"), but what I was fearful of happening, happened. My cake arrived and had the wrong design on it. They said it was their error but offered nothing back in return. After letting them know that was unsatisfactory, they offered 10% off the next order. I place the next order and pay another deposit, but when I came to pick up the order, they said it wasn't ready because they didn't receive the deposit until after we got off the phone (not true, nor was I informed that was a policy). I had to wait additional time for them to make the order with no apology or further discount. Victoria told me to have a blessed day before I left, but I'm certain she was being sarcastic. Save yourself the trouble, don't go with them. Additionally, from the looks of the other reviews and responses from them, I expected nothing less of a smart response and how it was my fault (see their response). They also posted my picture and name on their business page saying not to work with me. How professional is that? Buyer, beware. read more

Inquiry for a cake for my wedding and desserts.-- I tried calling numerous of times during their normal business hours with no luck. I left a voicemail and left an Instagram message with no response back. Finally after 4 days later Luna picks up.... I didn't even bother telling her I have been trying to get a hold of them because I was just happy she finally answered because I wanted to get this cake/dessert off my wedding to-do check list. I told her about my idea for my cake and immediately was negative about it and said it was impossible and that she had to get back to me if she can do it. My idea was this-- I wanted a tier tower with a top cake and donuts I can fill down in the bottom layers. Or top tier cake and another at the bottom. I didn't even get to discuss design or desserts because she didn't let me and wanted to get off the phone to do the "tower tier research". She promised me she would call me back at the end of the day--and again didn't hear back from her. The following week I called, and called, and called to follow up and finally another staff member answered and I told her I was waiting for Luna to call me back and she let me know she will be in later that day and would call me back.... I didn't hear back from anyone. It has been over a week of trying with this place and I'm done. I don't understand how a place of business does not tend to customers who are interested in buying with a big budget. So disappointing! In all honesty, I am so relieved I did not do business with this place and they showed how terrible they were from the start! The bad reviews on here are REALLY BAD and its definitely a sign! Wow they are wayyyyy too sweet! I got my nails done next door and I was drawn in by their pretty cakes so I got some cookies and a cake push up pop, all were disgusting, however the cookies were beautiful! So.... depends what you're looking for? I'm sure you can get beautiful cakes from them but They literally had no flavor! I mean even store bought frosting has flavor. Updated review: My sister's wedding cake came from this bakery. It was a beautiful cake and three out of four of the layers were good. My mom tried calling the owner, but she never answered. My mom called using a different number and she answered right away. When we advised the owner Luna that the Marble cake was dry and could not be consumed. She said, " was the cake too expensive and you want money back?" She had a very nasty attitude. We did not ask for a refund, but advised we will bring her the cake back so she can see it. By far the worst cake shop I've ever ordered from. Ask for 50 chocolate and 50 vanilla cake poops and they gave me only vanilla cake pops. I also ask to make sure they were 50 of each and they said yes. So they couldn't even tell me the truth. When I called back to tell them the girl on phone didn't even care or even offer a refund of any kind. I ask to talk to the manager and they just hung up. I walked past the store front, super cute, eye-catching. I looked them up and read the reviews, Despite the poor reviews I gave it a shot. I called to inquire about their wedding cakes - my wedding is in February and spoke to Ms. Luna. We chatted about cakes, the art of baking and understanding the complexity of cake design. She was pleasant. I placed an order for a tasting $10. She made wonderful suggestions and gave a quote of $350 for a naked cake serving 70 guests. I was excited! I'm not a difficult customer by any means. Always patient, pleasant and understanding. Ive worked retail and plenty of customer service jobs. I was scheduled to pick up the tasting at 4p. When they close bc I drive from Chino to LA. she said she understood, call ahead and let them know. I called ahead multiple times and no answer. I called that Wednesday only to be told the tasting won't be any good bc of the strawberries with no alternative solution or care for a potential client after the explanation of having called the day prior. Based on previous reviews, I would pass on purchasing a cake. You can't bake cakes and have crap service before even having a new client. Just saying. read more

Doing business here was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! I did not receive my entire order in full not to mention it was extremely expensive!!!! My event was on a Sunday and I was told nothing could be done about my incomplete order until Tuesday! I left several voicemails on Monday AND Tuesday and no one bothered returning my call!! I called again on Wednesday numerous times until someone finally answered my call. I asked to speak to the person in charge and Luna herself got on the phone. She seemed very nice and understanding and agreed that I was entitled to a refund for the items that were missing in my order and even offered to give me a dozen cake pops as a courtesy for the inconvenience. We agreed I would stop by in person to pick up my refund and cake pops. 30 minutes later, I received several phone calls back from Luna's cakes but was unable to answer because I was at work. Since I didn't answer, I received a text saying "if I didn't call back, they would cancel my order for the cake pops". I called back as soon as I was off of work and spoke to someone Named Jessica who was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! I asked why they would try to cancel my complimentary order if Luna offered to give me that as a courtesy for the error!! Jessica kept speaking over me and insisted that she personally counted and packaged my order and said there was no possible way anything was missing. I asked to speak to Luna once again because of how rude Jessica was and my Agreement was with Luna not her!!!! Needless to say, I hung up on her because of how rude and offensive she was!!!!! I cannot believe Luna would allow Jessica to call me after the fact and argue with me!!! The next day, Luna called me back and apologized for Jessica's rude behavior. Luna also insisted that the order was complete during this phone conversation and asked if maybe someone on my end ate the cake pops that were missing!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! She also said she wanted me to be happy and would still reimburse me what I was owed and would have the complimentary cake pops ready for me. She said to simply give them my name and everything would be ready for me. I went in person the next day to pick up my cake pops and refund as agreed, and the girl who greeted me gave me the dirtiest look and said Luna was not there and there was nothing there for me. Again, she started disputing with me saying I was not owed a refund and there were no cake pops for me. She went in the back and asked if there were extra cake pops laying around for me. I could also hear some other lady saying she thought Luna spoke to me and there would be no refund for me. IT WAS ALL SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!!!!!! They had me waiting there for a very long time and a different lady came to the front and handed me $25!!! NO CAKE POPS!!!! Which were offered to me as a courtesy for the error. Needless to say, I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AND HAVE TOLD ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND TO SPREAD THE WORD. We have a huge family with events all year round. We won't be missing out on HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICES!!!! read more

We prefer sweet over the oilier or whip-cream type frostings some people like. If I could give no stars I would. The Customer Service here sucks. Luna herself told me after I paid her $998 for a cake and dessert table that she didn't have time to help or resolve my problem she had other orders to get out. This place is a fraud she may bake the cakes but the displays are outsourced to another individual. I ordered my daughter's birthday cake it arrived with bubbles in the fondant not to mention no where on the cake said my child's name or anything. The cake looked like it was only going to feed 10 people at best. After I told her I was hosting. Party with over 40 kids. Out of eight kids and to many birthday parties to count I have never ordered a Cake that didn't have Happy Birthday on it. I would have done better stopping at pavilions to get a cake. Luna is rude and unprofessional. Don't waste your time with this bakery. She is simply someone hiding behind someone else's work and charging an enormous amount of money to do nothing. Karma is a you know what!!! And Ms Luna she will be knocking at your door in the near future you keep doing business like this. But hey like she said her standard and taste are not like mine. We have been coming here for years before the bakery was even up and running and so I was very confident in ordering my baby shower cake and cupcakes here. Definitely not cheap but I know the great work they can do and so I didn't mind the cost to much. On the day of the baby shower I had someone pick up my order and when I received it I was completely disappointed the cake looked nothing like the picture I sent and they completely forgot my baby's name! The flavor of the cake was not at all what I asked and the cupcakes were also not at all what I ordered. I sent an email to express the disappointment and didn't receive anything in return but the cakes are never gonna look like the picture. We later found out they mad mouthed us to a close friend for the email sent! I was impressed with the Minecraft cake I ordered for my nephew's birthday. Not only were they able to duplicate the picture of the cake we had in mind, the cake was delicious. Very impressed with their work. I definitely recommend this place for your fancy cakes. You won't regret it. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Usually you get one or the other. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I found them on IG. Someone responded and stated they had the availability for the dates I needed and they would give me a call. I was ordering 2 cakes for my friends birthday (2 different cakes and dates). I found their number on yelp and called them, placed the order and they apologized for not getting back (shouldn't have ignored sign 1). Placed the order, paid the balance and cake 1 turned out great! 2 days later it was my friends actual birthday and the cake was paid for and a delivery fee was paid. Spoke to them the day of and we were good to go. Once we got to the location there was NO cake! Of course they were closed due to it being 8pm! I sent an email and called the facility and no one responded. Here it is 4pm the next day and ummmmm no one has called or emailed! So the birthday girl calls and nonchalant Maggie answers the phone. Unapologetic.... she said there was an emergency! Ok it's the following day, the emergency has come to an end bcus everyone is back at work and NO ONE thought to call us about an order that was NEVER delivered?!?! They literally ruined her bday party!!!!! DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They'll ruin your special day and not even care! Oh, I just received an email for a credit!
