Worst place I ever been to. I wanted to try out a new place since it was closer to home but never again. The fact that the birria food wasn't even good made it worst. On top of it some guy that looks like super Mario was on his way out that works there, has his pink backpack on and he came up to me to tell me no pets allowed before asking me if it was a service dog. After I told him she was a service dog he still had the audacity to ask for her card which it's illegal, I told him I don't have to show It to you, and that's the law. The Omega--one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. California burritos, especially shrimp burritos, are wonderful (I always order mine without fries in them). These things make it hard for me to try all the other things on the menu, but they have a lot of interesting things on the menu, and everything I have tried here has been alright. This place is a hidden gem. The tacos are legit and are very unique, breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Great tacos, great variety, especially the pork belly taco. I just wished they were opened every day.

The theme is international tacos. You can get everything from Korean to Caribbean to Spanish tacos. Interesting idea and fun, but I think they should change their name to Small World Tacos or something like that because it is not clear what they offer. The food is hit or miss. The Bladi taco (chorizo, bacon, potato, avocado, mayo) was delicious but the chicken and waffle taco was not good -- I didn't even finish it. My tortilla was burned, the chicken was not fried well, the cheese was bland and like an afterthought. And the waffle was soggy and tasted odd with the tortilla. I would nix the waffle, and add gravy and scrambled eggs. Too much on the menu -- they should reduce the menu items and take the things off that really don't work. Also no milk or cream for coffee. Only Coffee Mate, made from "milk derivative" which is disgusting. The decor is not appealing or attractive. They could fo some fun things with the international theme. I might go again but not for breakfast because of the coffee and creamer situation. But this is not a place I would go out of my way to eat at. It's a shame because it's a really fun idea -- but they need to work on getting the basics right and limit what they are trying to do (reduce the menu items, get rid of the stuff that doesn't work). Also we shouldn't have to tip when there is no table service and we have to bus our own tables. read more

Luna's menu is robust and varied, with tacos with Indian, Caribbean, Mexican, Korean and many other influences that make it easy to eat there on multiple days without it feeling like you're eating the same thing again and again. I spoke with Vladimir and he was not willing to fix the issue and said I needed to call Uber Eats because he loses 34% on the order. I asked him to have the order redelivered because of the amount of food missing and the cost. No attempt to take ownership or apologize. Needless to say I will never order from this restaurant again. We decided to try Luna's Tacos for dinner recently and ordered for pickup to have at home. All in all the food was good and ready when we picked it up. The menu is a collection of tacos based on different international cuisines. I had the Texan (Beef brisket), the Beef Bulgogi, and the Picadillo and we also got their regular and spicy queso for the family to try. All three tacos were tasty, however I would go back over and over again for the Picadillo. It was packed with flavor and was thoroughly enjoyable. My wife had one as well and we both agreed that it was best of the night. I almost wish I had saved it for last because the other two would have tasted better without trying to compare to that taco! Do yourself a favor and get a Picadillo taco if you go there. The Texan and the beef bulgogi tacos, though not as good as the Picadillo, were tasty. I enjoyed the Avacado Crema that came on the Texan though I preferred the slightly sweet bulgogi meat to the brisket. I was personally not impressed with the queso, but the kids liked it so it's not all bad. I just felt like there wasn't really anything that made it stand out against any number of other restaurants that serve queso in the area. In talking with the family after having Luna's Tacos we all agreed that it was a good meal and there are other tacos on the menu that we would like to go back and try. I only have gotten takeout here, but it definitely was worth the experience because it was different. This wasn't a bad type of different but a good kind of different. I'm not going to rate the customer service aspect here because it wasn't too much with interaction at all. I ordered my food, went to pick it up, and went from there. Speaking of this, whoever the woman was who handled my food was extremely beautiful, but I'm not here to rate how good looking someone is--it's time to rate the freaking food. I ended up with several tacos. Yes, if you know me--you know I love tacos. These tacos were different though. They had so many wacky variations from Thai/Indian inspired to Korean inspired tacos. My personal favorites? Bulgogi Beef, Green Curry Coconut Shrimp, Pork Belly, and The Omega. My least liked was the Party Fish by a LONG shot. I didn't care too much for the Chicken Paprikash either. The main issue I had here honestly was that there was too much going on with the food, and I think the menu can be tuned down some. Some of the combinations look great on paper but the application didn't hit the mark for everything in my opinion. This does scale back the score on my scoring model. Final score? 7.6. Great food for people who either want to try something different, or people who just like to be unicorns. This is the spot for people who like experimenting and/or are curious about trying out the different flavors. A 7.6 is not bad, by the way. It is actually a high score. Would I recommend this place? Stopped in to Luna's Tacos that opened recently near my neighborhood. So good! Particularly liked their queso, drink variety, and Texan Taco. We thought about grabbing tacos to-go but decided to stay and eat. Love local businesses and the variety on their menu to include some healthier or vegan choices.
