I'm not a yelper, but I'm hoping this review will help get The Lunch Box back on track. While the restaurant has had its ups and downs, we've had too many sub par meals here over the past 6 months to say PLEASE pay more attention. We want you to succeed! While I appreciate that the management is mostly responsive when food is brought out and it's burned, raw or somehow inedible, that's not always the case. In the past 6 months we've had pizza burned 3 times, a raw burger, way overdressed salad, gummy wings and sadly we saw that while shaking a drink the bartender broke the top glass and then served the drink to us anyway. Going out for dinner isn't cheap. But it becomes very expensive when the food is bad. We don't have any other restaurants here in Weston but I'm afraid we're going to have to pass on our local place for a while in hopes it can step up the quality. Please do so - I would love to return in 6 months to a place with GREAT food where the chef/staff care. read more

Not only was the food excellent...the service perfect and friendly and atmosphere wonderful (recently renovated).... but what happened after I left is the sign of an excellent business owner... I left my blue tooth ear peice on the table... the next morning... my phone rang...and it was Josh the owner calling me to let me know he had it.... but how he got my number was the real story.... he got my name from the credit card...then Googled me...Found my Facebook page...which linked to my website... and offuce phone.... the extra effort will result in me becoming a frequent customer...and sharing this story with everyone on social media. ... local hometown favorite ... the only one like it in Weston. Recently, The lunch box was takeover by new management. huge improvement. It used to have that small/hometown QSR feel ... not anymore... the menu has expanded and is a huge improvement. The interior was renovated and they even added adult beverages to the menu... perception has definitely changed for the better. Note: the lunchbox has gone more upscale. they have even stayed true to their roots: you can still find the vintage tin lunch boxes lined up albeit in a more modern atmosphere. The kids love it. This is a consistently good place for a snack or a light lunch. While its not a gourmet restaurant and doesn't try to be one, it still offers a relatively quick and clean option for dining out. We went in to get something noticed the owner was getting services installed for business very arrogant rude to the technicians inpatient the way he spoke to them and yes saw huge rat droppings discussed by customer service and business hygiene well not be returning go @ ur own a risk completely surprised with what I witness. read more

There are a few tables around if you want to sit and eat/drink coffee. AMBIANCE - it's a very clean and deli looking decor. DRY PRODUCTS - they have a small selection of Italian items from dried pasta to jarred sauces. Typical brands that you see in supermarkets or other Italian stores. There are a few imported from Italy brands but I'm no expert to say yea or nay PIZZA - they have at the counter a pizza station where you can a buy by the slice. They looked pretty good with a lot of variety. COFFEES - they have regular plus they make expresso, macchiatos, lattes etc. I tried the macchiato which was excellent PASTRY- they gave a few at the counter. The breakfast buns and treats. I noticed a crème pastry which I tried. It was OK but in reality the pastry part was super good but the inside crème would have been better if it was like a Boston cream filling SERVICE - definitely 5+ stars. The employees couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Very congenial with small talk.
