Top notch place and staff were excellent. Plenty of inside seating and very clean. Definitely give it a try next time you're in Fremont. I went with the cacio e pepe with the added guanciale. They use sourdough which I initially was skeptical about but it was delightful. They also have chili oil, red pepper flakes, and crispy chili oil. Used all three and the crispy chili oil was killer. Fantastic pizza and can't wait to try others. It's a little bigger than a personal pizza but I'd still get two if you're with someone. You can get a little variety but I wasn't sharing.

Came here for date night with the expectation that it was just another pizza restaurant, but walked away truly impressed with both service and food. Lupo is located on Fremont avenue and occupies the space that was previously Via Tribunali. Parking can be a hit and miss. But in true Seattle driving experience, I found a spot in the nearby neighborhoods. Their space is intimate and perfect date night vibes. Definitely loved the low light atmosphere. Their menu feature a short list of appetizers. Their pizzas are definitely the star of the show. Their pizzas are made with sourdough and baked in a wood fired oven. We ordered the burrata appetizer to start. For pizzas, we ordered the margherita, and hot coppa. We also ordered a martini cocktail and a couple glasses of their sangiovese wine to go with dinner. The burrata was outstanding! The caponata was refreshing and sourdough bread was crunchy. The pizzas were delicious. The sourdough crusts had a nice balance of crispiness and toppings were generous. The pizzas even had the hallmark leoparding spots on the crust. Cheese, chili pepper flakes, and chili oil condiments were provided with the pizza. I recommend going easy on the house made chili oil. A small amount goes a long way. Service was phenomenal. There were frequent follow-ups on our experience and water refills throughout our meal. I would recommend this for a casual date night. I would also recommend reservations.

New favorite pizza spot in Seattle! Neapolitan style is my favorite way to eat pizza and I think Lupo cooks it well! The dough is crispy and also chewy, and the ingredients on the pizza taste fresh (the cheese on the margarita pizza was super good). The caesar salad is also great! I like the texture of the crunchy bits. Make a reservation beforehand to get a table seat. Bar seats are first come first serve, but make sure to bring an ID.

Excellent pizza, with that soft thin crust, a nice char, great chew, and top ingredients. This is pizza I want to go out for...nothing too over the top fancy that it stands out oddly but high quality ingredients and bake style that I really don't think I could replicate at home. We came in late on a Sunday (9pm) and the staff was all incredibly friendly, personable, and helpful. 2 pizzas were a bit much for my son and me, but we only left a bite because they were too good to put down. Fresh parm and chili flakes on the side plus a big bottle of chili oil was great to spice up and experiment. We got the bread appetizer too...quality but I don't think I needed the extra carb. It looked beautiful, but if the bread were roasted and came with a roasted garlic head on the side I'd change my tune in a heartbeat (butter looked beautiful, bread was thick and flavorful, but those two extras would really light it up). And yes, I couldn't possibly eat another bite after that, but homemade ice cream? Homemade pistachio ice cream? In the end that's basically a glass of milk, right., I can find a little room for a glass of milk among those crusts. And I did. Creamy and real pistachio flavor (and nuts). Will I go back? Yes. First please give me a bit to digest....

Fantastic food! The burrata is unique, almost sun-dried tomato spread served with! The margarita pizza was super. But the staff? SO. FRIENDLY. I was about to walk in and fixed my hair in the window and the host didn't miss a beat, said "you look great". Servers super attentive and also patient because it's always busy.

Went to Lupo on a Saturday night with a reservation for 8PM. It wasn't too hard to snag a reservation just a few days before, but the restaurant was pretty crowded, so I wouldn't recommend walking in. It was a little loud inside, so you have to raise your voice to speak to someone just across the table, but the pizza is undeniably delicious. Crust has a fantastic chew, great char, and a deep yeast-y flavor in the best way possible. Parking is unfortunately a huge pain in the butt because otherwise I would totally be here all the time! Hot Coppa (4.75/5): The tomato sauce has a nice bit of tart sweetness to offset the creamy burrata and salty coppa (salami). Just a bit of spice with the honey to round everything out - it's literally the perfect pizza. Pesto Soppressata (4.5/5): The creamy white sauce and super fatty soppressata went perfectly with the bright pickled onions. I do wish there was more of the pistachio pesto so the nuttiness could come through more, but it was still absolutely delicious.

Whenever I'm craving pizza, this is the spot I come back to. I recently visited with a friend from out of town. I ordered the chicory salad again because I loved it last time--it's still on the menu, but they changed up the ingredients a bit this time. Even so, it pairs way better with pizza than a classic Caesar. The burrata toast is absolutely outstanding--rich, buttery bread topped with roasted tomatoes, basil, and the creamiest burrata. The cheese is soft and nutty, and the brightness of the tomatoes makes every bite perfect. We tried the weekly specials: one was a cream-based pizza with mushrooms and squash, and the other was a tomato-based one topped with prosciutto. Both were incredible. There are a few great pizza spots around, but if you're craving true wood-fired pizza, this is the place. The staff is friendly, but because it's always packed, they tend to stop by the table often, which can feel a bit like they're trying to turn it quickly. If that bothers you, going a little later in the evening is a better move. The warm, cozy atmosphere always makes me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

My hair stylist told me this place had the best pizza so I had to check it out for myself. I sat at the bar, and the bartender Ben was such a gem! He recommended the Arrabbiata, and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the spicy tomato sauce with the guanciale. Such a great combo! I also had their pistachio ice cream which was rich and creamy. I would come back just for the ice cream it was so so good. I can't wait to come back after my next hair appointment!

It's been a week since my trip to Seattle, and I'm back in town for work. Monday afternoon, I decided to grab a bite near the Washington State University area and was in the mood for some pizza. After checking Yelp, I landed on Lupo -- and I'm so glad I did. Parking was easy, with street parking available on both sides. The moment I arrived, the charm of the brick building, the fall colors, and the cozy atmosphere instantly pulled me in. The place gives off a moody, vintage, almost witchy vibe -- perfect for the fall season and Halloween lovers like me. I was the first guest of the evening (they open at 5), and the staff greeted me warmly with big smiles. The space is beautiful -- vintage chandeliers, soft lighting, and a little candle motif at each table set the tone perfectly. I started with the No Covenant cocktail -- a creative mix with cardamom that I absolutely loved. Then came the Neapolitan-style sourdough pizza, which was delicious. The only minor note is that the center can get a bit doughy as it cools (typical with sourdough), but the flavor and texture were fantastic overall. The bartender nailed the cocktail, and my server was incredibly kind and attentive (wish I'd gotten her name). Clean restrooms, great music, good energy -- the whole experience was spot on. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle. Thank you to the whole Lupo team for the warm welcome and a truly enjoyable evening

I'm a sucker for a good wood-fired pizza and this place was incredible. I had the Hot Coppa pizza and their Little Gem Caesar salad. Such a great meal! The interior is cozy and the service here is impeccable.

This is an interesting and intimate little pizza place. It is a relatively small restaurant with a tiny kitchen but big flavors. You see the beautiful wood fired pizza oven when you walk in the door. They have booth and table seating, including a large table for groups/families. Reservations are recommended. We had a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived. We did get a few moments to watch them finishing up some pizzas which was interesting and whet our appetite. They have a posted special pizzas and the current ice cream and sorbet flavors. We were given a few minutes to review our menus. They brought us water and asked if we wanted to order drinks. I got one that was a Disco something (it's not listed in the website menu) which was a house cocktail that included a house made strawberry syrup. It was quite refreshing and not too boozy, which I like. My companion was able to taste a few wines to find one she liked. While we were very curious about the 2 special pizzas (both with a white sauce), my companion and I both enjoy hot honey, so we opted for the Hot Coppa. We thought the little gem Caesar salad would be a good companion. Our salad came out pretty quickly (and a bit after our drinks). The dressing on the Caesar was a little anchovy forward, but still balanced. The breadcrumbs were crisp and generous. It was a good Caesar but a little overdressed. My companion has been before and had the salad and shared that it wasn't overdressed on her previous visit. The Hot Coppa was delicious. The hot honey drizzle was generous without being too much. There was burrata atop every slice. I also tried their in-house chili oil on a slice. If my suitcase wasn't full, I'd have purchased a bottle of the chili oil to take home. We devoured the whole pizza. I wasn't sure about dessert but my companion wanted to try the ice cream. We opted for a scope of pistachio ice cream and a scoop of the dark chocolate strawberry sorbet. Despite liking pistachios, I don't usually like pistachio ice cream. Lupo's was so good. You can taste the crushed pistachios and there is nothing artificial about it. The dark chocolate strawberry sorbet tasted like an ice cream versus a sorbet since it was so rich. And it was full or strawberry chunks. The two scoops, while served is separate dishes, complimented each other very well. Dining at Lupo's was a lovely experience. All the staff was so nice. They were even checking to see if we needed anything when we stepped back inside because we were having issue with our ride share app. I recommend Lupo's for the overall experience.

Lupo is my new favorite Seattle restaurant now. We had such a fun time and the food was insanely delicious. We started off with the hearth baked bread which was some sourdough bread with house butter. This place is popular for their Neapolitan pizzas so we ordered their popular hot coppa Pizza with an add on of roasted garlic and roasted onions. We also got some chili oil on the side. The pizza was sooooo delicious. The crust was nice and light and the toppings worked perfectly with our add ons and the chili oil. The only drawback was that the sauce had made the crust too soggy so we had to eat the pizza with a fork and knife as opposed to using our hands (cz that's the real fun way of eating a pizza :p). The chili oil was another standout as it wasn't spicy but the chili flavor was very well induced. We paired our spicy pizza with some nice and crisp orange wine. Overall, the ambience was kind of intimate and chic. The server was very sweet and friendly. He did forget our hearth bread and we had to remind him. Since it was a bday dinner, they gave us some rosemary lemon icecreaam. The balance of lemon and rosemary was just out of this world and we were blown away. Overall, I loved this place and I will definitely be back.

We've been here a few times. Their Neapolitan pizza is absolutely delicious, and they make a vegan one which is really appreciated. Ambience is beautiful and nice. Service often can take some time but the food is worth it. read more

Came here for a Galentine's day event. The drinks were good and the pizzas were delicious. The pistachio pizza was so good! A little bit of crunch from the nut and the ricotta cheese was so refreshing. I would get it over and over again. I highly recommend this place! Cane here a few months ago for a date night and it was truly the best food and ambiance we have ever experienced in Seattle! I wish I had more pictures but we dug in so fast that it was near impossible Don't miss out on the cavatelli and we anxiously await the return of summer corn in calabrian chile, but their sourdough toast is a constant comfort. thank you lupo, we you and all you do for the community! p.s. whoever runs their instagram deserves an award, always makes me laugh read more

This place is a must go for all three food, service and ambiance. It's packed to the roof with people and you have to reserve a place way ahead. Food excellent love the margarita pizza and the one with salami and olives on it. Love the Ragu as well. The IPA on draft pretty tasty as well. Almost a gem don't want people to find out and make it hard to go there. read more

I really wanted to like it because of the good atmosphere and great location. Food is under proportioned, overpriced, and tastes like very generic grocery store condiments are used. Our antipasto and pizza had a solid 30 minutes in between being served to us- takes way too long to be placed on our table. The pizza was underflavored, undercooked yet overcooked in some parts, and very small? My party and I utilized the chili oil and chili flakes a little too much. It also took our party several tries to get the server's attention to get the check. We were really polite the entire time and there was maybe one other party in the restaurant. Out of everything the Saute di Vongole (Hama Hama mailla clams oven roasted in white wine) were probably the best. read more

Really tasty pizza. I was a huge fan of the Cacio E' Pepe Pizza, and if parmesan and pepper are your thing this pizza is for you. I wasn't blown away by the pasta, was a more mild flavor so I wish it was more flavorful. But it wasn't bad at all. Super fast service, however it is pretty expensive. Splitting a pizza and pasta was a good amount, we even had some leftover! read more

Haven't yet dined in but I grab take out from here whenever the pizza cravings hit. Their pizzas are thin crust and take only few minutes to bake in their pizza oven. So take out often is ready within 15 minutes! My go to is the margherita and a Caesar salad. Simple but delicious and easily serves 2. read more

Dinner reservation here. Some unusual and very tasty pizza. Excellent service. Friendly and efficient. Nice ambiance. The cocktails were also good. I would give this place 5 stars for the quality but for the egregious prices of the pasta dishes, I have to take off a star for that kind of abuse on my wallet. I went with a friend for happy hour and we ordered two happy hour pizzas. We thought they were a fair price for the size we got. Since the happy hour pizza wasn't enough for a substantial meal, we ordered the lasagna. When the waitress brought the dish, it was so tiny that I thought it was a happy hour portion even though it wasn't on the happy hour menu. Turns out that it was the regular dinner size lasagna for $16. It didn't come with a side of vegetables or even a slice of bread. For a small bar/restaurant, this crazy price was definitely a big surprise. But my friend and I both agreed that the pizza and the lasagna were good. If you come in for the pizza that this place is known for, you'll walk away happy. Just don't get the ridiculously small size lasagna (other pastas on the menu are probably the same tiny portion) or your Italian grandma will be sad that you spent all that money and didn't get enough to eat. read more

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Seattle. So happy we decided to meet our son here for dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious! I had the winter vegetarian pasta dish and it was to die for. My son and husband shared the buratta pizza and farmers market salad and said it was the best pizza they've ever had. For dessert we had the homemade oatmeal cookie ice cream and it was so good I could've licked my bowl clean. We can't wait to come back to Seattle and eat here with the rest of our family. read more

This is the best pizza I've had in Seattle and probably one of the top pizzas I've had in my life! It's perfect - the dough is chewy but crispy, the toppings are plentiful but not overbearing, and the flavors are all just so so good! Plus the chili oil is amazing. We sat at the bar and I got the Sunny D drink with alcohol and it was DELICIOUS. Really was not expecting to like this place as much as I did but I will 100% be back and bringing friends. read more

We had the marinated cucumbers (with bomba chili oil and dill) and it was a great starter. The pizzas were incredible - nice chewy crust that wasn't too heavy. The sauce also had incredible flavor! Check your bill! The bill turned out to be rather high so we checked each line item and noticed a $60 up charge. We were charged for a bottle of wine we didn't order. Other reviews also note discrepancies in their bill. Pizza is delicious but pricey. They also charge + 15% automatically for takeout which was a surprise. What we enjoy most is their sour dough base with solid flavor combinations. read more

This is ridiculously good pizza. Top 5 all time pizza for me and I am a pizza snob who makes his own and thinks most places suck. Not Lupo. Perfect crust. Well made pies. Simple. Just enough of everything. Excellent staff -- attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Just came wait until next time. Wowwww most definitely my new favorite pizza in Seattle! I got the burrata and soppressata and absolutely loved it. You just can't beat the perfect char on the crust! It was perfect to split with a friend and elevated our at home movie night to the max. Taken to go, it was delicious, so I definitely have to have it fresh in restaurant next. Be sure to book a reservation in advance because it was packed on the Friday night that I stopped by! read more

Lupo must be Italian for "I died and went to pizza heaven". (Or it could also translate to "wolf" but whatever.) Because after getting takeout here the other night, I died and went to pizza heaven...after I "wolfed" it down. ;) TLDR: I'm resisting the urge to "!!!!" and ALL CAPS SCREAM "THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA EVERRRR" into the Yelp void. Eating here is like taking a masterclass in Pizza, which is to say, it's that good...these people know what they are doing. You can trust them. My husband and I did the takeout special: 2 pizzas, a salad, and a bottle of wine for $55ish dollars. We got the Burrata Soppressata pizza (worth the price upgrade), the La Corna, and the beet salad (which our hangry-ness insisted that we put over our own bed of mixed greens while we waited for the pizza to reheat in the oven; no regrets). We got the house red wine, but they also have an option to get a bottle of olive oil instead, which is super cool. Yes, they include a note to encourage you to order your pizza unsliced and then reheat it at 500 in your home oven. I highly recommend this. To me, these instructions are less pretentious, and more..."these are my kind of people." Anyone who knows their pizza well enough to tell you exactly how to get the maximum experience/flavors is aces in my book. In case you are as hangry as I was and cannot think straight, a few extra tips on moving the thin, fragile pizza around: *grab adjacent edges of the white doily/liner thing to move the pizza* to a cutting board, then slide the pizza directly into the oven. After a few minutes in the oven, you will be rewarded with THE BEST PIZZA EVERRR!!!!! If this review wasn't already a novel, I'd go on and on about how good that sourdough crust is...(it's fantastic!) but I won't. Anyhow, don't take my word for it: The Seattle Times recently ran an article on all the pizza pop-ups in Seattle right now...and in it the author (Jackie Varriano) mentioned that "pop-up owners consistently named Lupo as [a] spot they loved." read more

Another case of the emperor's new clothes. Tasteless pizza that people in Seattle love for some reason, probably because it is impossible to get good Italian food in Seattle but folks do not want to believe that that could be true. The only spice they use at Lupo is salt, probably because people in Seattle love their salt, the most exotic spice available apparently. I should also mention it is rather expensive. Also would love an option for truffle oil. 4/5 Their pizza coppalina was the highlight of the meal, all the ingredients stood out, the sauce was a little too sweet, and the pizza dough was too thin to even support itself and resulted in all of the toppings and cheese on the plate. Still the pizza overall was good 4/5. The lasagna was pretty underwhelming. First off the portion size definitely does not justify the price, especially with the lack of meat it had. The sauce was really sweet again, but the lasagna didn't feel heavy in the stomach. The pasta stood out the most, just wished that there was more meat and cheese. 3/5 A great place for a nice dinner date, definitely would go back to try more. read more

Lupo's $55 meal deal with 2 pizzas, a salad, and a bottle of wine is AWESOME. We ordered the Cacio y Pepe and Le Corna pizzas. Cacio y Pepe wasn't my favorite, but that really was more of a function of I ordered something and expected something else, the ingredient quality was clearly high. My girlfriend picked out the Le Corna, which had delightfully spicy sausage, sweet onion, and bright peppers on it. Crust was browned perfectly and the pizza had an ideal amount of flop. The beet salad was hands down awesome. Beets were juicy and refreshing, coated in peanuts and a tasty sauce. We paid $5 extra for the Tuscan blend wine (as opposed to house). Wine was well worth it. Only note for carryout the pizza was a little cold. The owner did dm me and say it may be a good idea to preheat your oven to 500 and throw the pizza in for a couple minutes. Next time. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas and a Caesar salad . I have never ordered from Lupo and found them via Yelp. Looked at the menu, and the Caesar salad said it was romaine lettuce. When I got home, I found the "Caesar" was not romaine . Called to ask about the salad, and they told me it was Radicchio. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that the Yelp menu was not the most up to date. The lupo website has the most updated menu. As a consumer/customer, I would have expected a little less sass and more empathy at the mixup. It's the establishments responsibility to ensure consistency across platforms so customers are knowledgeable/informed about our choices. I did not appreciate the staff member on the phone basically telling me "too bad", Chances are I won't be back to this place. read more

This place has hands down the best pizza I've had in Seattle! Their dough is super chewy, thin, and light. I suspect they might use a sourdough starter which gives it a wonderful aroma. The ingredients are always fresh and the pepperoni has a good kick! I highly recommend making this a monthly (or weekly) take out option! They also do a great dinner deal where you get two pizzas, a salad, and a bottle of wine for $55. read more

In this economy, it's truly a blessing for businesses to still have loyal customers coming through the door and wanting to support local spots. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.

We went for the beef tartare, Chinese scallion pancake, smoked tofu, kimchi trio, spicy rice cake, Chinese broccoli, "that" short rib steak, Kalbi burger, and the kombu cured mackerel. Everything was #brokedamout. The standouts to me were the scallion pancake, short rib, Kalbi burger and mackerel. Parking is available on the street and in private lots. We're already trying to figure out when we can get back here again before we leave. We'll certainly be back.

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Time to try it out on a beautiful Spring day in Seattle. It's located close to Pike Place Market so planning a fun day involving these two places was a breeze. The restaurant had a beautiful Thai interior. The chairs we were seated in were not that comfortable, however. Service was efficient and straightforward. We ordered an appetizer and two dishes. The dishes were salmon fried rice and Pad Sei-Iew. I feel bad but we were not that impressed with their food. Fried rice was really salty and Pad Sei-Iew was also on the saltier side. I am not sure if we will return given the lackluster quality of the foods. Perhaps when we have another outing in the downtown area, we might give it a try again to try other dishes.

The kaya toast was the perfectly sweet dish to balance out all the flavors. I especially loved dipping it in the poached egg for a satisfyingly runny bite. Good selection of Italian food and the Place has a pleasant atmosphere. Nice seating area and has wonderful decor, perfect spot family gathering. They have great wine selection. Quite small with a cozy vibe, so there was a wait but once seated at the bar, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Caesar gem salad, pasta (they only have one kind but it's so good you only need this one), and a hot coppa pizza. The bartender was nice and refilled my drinks without asking.
