Idk why but I was surprised at how pleasantly satisfied I was with their food here and bummed I haven't been here sooner. It's one of our go-to spots for ramen now. I've had their tonkotsu and shoyu ramen. Love them both. Tonkotsu broth has a bit of a creamy soup and the shoyu has a similar taste but without the creaminess. Kids ramen combo includes a small tonkotsu ramen bowl, side of fries and edamame . It's a great amount for kiddos . Spicy tuna on crispy rice was ok. Service has been great every time I come in. read more

Luv 'n Eat Ramen is a small ramen restaurant in the Camarillo Village Square shopping center near Blenders and Panda Express. They have excellent food at very reasonable prices. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Compared to Cagami Ramen it has both advantages and disadvantages. I prefer the greater variety of items and appetizers at Cagami. However, Luv 'n Eat Ramen's Coco Ramen is currently my favorite ramen dish. In addition, while both places are small and get busy on weekends, Luv 'n Eat Ramen never gets as busy or as hectic as Cagami Ramen. So, I've been going to Luv 'n Eat Ramen more often thanks to its great food and more relaxed atmosphere. So, highly recommended. read more

We ordered the House special ramen,Tonkatsu ramen, Shishito peppers, and the Agedashi tofu. The ramen was okay, but lacked a richness to the broth in both. I don't believe I've ever had fried slices of pork in my ramen before, so this through me off. The portions were generous, but I've had better ramen in the 805. The Shishito peppers were delicious and the Agedashi tofu was good, but was just a little too thick, so it made it just a little more bland despite the sauce. I haven't tried any of the other dishes besides the ramen, but they look amazing, so I might come back to try those. The service was great and speedy. The restaurant had modern decor, very clean. Overall, not a good nor bad experience. Till next time. read more

Service is amazing, checking in on us make sure everything's good and was quick. Located close to the outlets, this is a must to check out after or before shopping. If you're craving ramen or rice dishes they got them all! Parking is easy also as it's located in a plaza. The house broth is flavorful, reminds me of a home cooked broth. portion sizes are great. I was in the area so decided to have lunch here. It was a small restaurant but bright and well lit. As I walked in I was greeted immediately and led to a table. Service was good and food came out in a reasonable time. The Salmon Avocado was good and the sauce made it even better. The Mozza Corn Dog was very good and crispy. On the first bite of the corn dog you will release the gooey cheese and when you get close to halfway you will reach the fishcake sausage. The sausage was a little chewy and somewhat bland. I think the best part was the batter which was more flour like, not the usual cornbread. The spicy mayo really does give it a kick so the extra sauce on the side wasn't needed at all. The House Special ramen was delicious and it comes with a variety of things. The soup was tasty and the thin noodles had a good chewy texture. The two slices of chashu pork were very thin and slightly over fried. Although it still tasted good there wasn't enough to satisfy the craving of pork belly. They also have bento box specials for lunch and dinner which seems to be a pretty good deal. Definitely a good place to try if you haven't yet. read more

What I didn't expect was to be spiritually ambushed by a bowl of ramen so comforting, I'm 95% sure it whispered "I love you" to me before I slurped the last noodle. I ordered the Coco Ramen, because let's face it, if there's coconut milk in anything, I'm already emotionally invested. The broth? Creamy. Velvety. Like Tom Hanks' voice if it were edible. It had this magical blend of savory umami and tropical vacation that made me question every life choice that led me to only now discover this place. The noodles were the perfect chewy-soft combo -- not the limp sadness you get from microwave ramen. I twirled them on my chopsticks like I was auditioning for The Bachelor: Noodle Edition. And the toppings? Don't even get me started. The egg was jammy perfection, the pork belly was so tender I briefly considered proposing to it, and the veggies still had enough crunch to remind me I'm technically eating something healthy. You have to wait for space to open up first, and only then can you place your order and sit down. It can definitely be inconvenient. The prices are also on the higher side. I'd love to see some occasional specials or slight price adjustments to make it more accessible. That said, I keep coming back anyway. The Garlic Truffle Ramen is just that good. For me, it's worth working around the tight space every single time.

There is about 10 to 15 tables inside with different amounts of seating and since it was just my boyfriend and I and the lady gave us the choice to sit wherever then we chose a table with two seats but, had us move to the next one because she said that the two seat ones were for single people, especially because it was lunchtime. She refused to let us sit at the two person table ‍. We got several menus and a pencil with an ordering paper. She took our drink order and we started to explore the vast menu and it all looked great! (I love when they have pictures on the menu apart from descriptions) After she brought us waters, I asked her if the special menu was considered the happy hour menu and she said it's not happy hour yet and I said yes it is 1 o'clock and she looked at my boyfriends clock on his phone and apologized and brought the happy hour menu. I included the receipt so you can see that 4/5 rolls were happy hour pricing. The sushi chefs were 2 Hispanic men and the reason why I mention this was because I feel like most of my rolls had this "chili powder" that resembled Tajin on my rolls and that's what they called "spicy" half my rolls were supposed to be spicy tuna but the tuna itself was not spicy they just had this Tajin-like powder on top and to me it wasn't spicy at all and I also felt like it made those 2/3 rolls taste bland. My bf loves deep fried rolls so he opted to try the magic mtn and he loved it and I think I enjoyed the spider roll the most. Even the spicy tuna on the crispy rice was just regular tuna with no spice. We still thought it tasted good but we will maybe give it another try with different rolls next time. They have a punch card if you spend $50+ after I think 10 you get a free speciality roll. The chefs gave us a parting remark and we thanked them upon leaving for lunch. Our server was a little more cold but kudos to her for handling the whole restaurant by herself in an efficient manner as our food came out quick and we got water refills and she checked in on us while serving 5/6 other tables all by herself.

Great Tonkotsu, Friendly Service, Mixed Experience on the Tom Yum Stopped by Luv 'n Ramen in Camarillo and had an overall good experience. We tried a few different items, and here's the breakdown: I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, and it was excellent. The broth had a rich, deep flavor, the char siu pork was tender, and the overall portion size was perfect -- satisfying without being overwhelming. This is definitely a bowl I'd come back for. We also ordered the Spicy Tom Yum Ramen, and this one missed the mark for me. Instead of the bold, spicy, citrusy flavor that traditional tom yum usually brings, the broth was unexpectedly sweet. The sweetness overpowered everything else, so it didn't remind me of tom yum at all. The toppings were good -- char siu pork, bean sprouts, mushrooms, lemongrass -- but the broth flavor just didn't land. Would I get it again? Probably not, but I'd absolutely reorder the tonkotsu. For both ramen dishes, I asked about the spice level and was offered levels 1-5. I selected a 4, but both bowls tasted closer to a 1. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you like real heat. We also ordered the Tofu Salad, and this was a pleasant surprise. The tofu portion was huge -- four large pieces of perfectly fried tofu that were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The salad itself was fresh and colorful: mixed spring greens, chopped grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, thinly sliced purple onions, and carrot ribbons. The dressing was the standout here -- acidic, sweet, and tangy in all the right ways. Service-wise, the experience was great. Upon entry, the host/waitress was warm, welcoming, and kind, and the dining area was well-lit, clean, and inviting. Overall, Luv 'n Ramen has some strong dishes, especially the tonkotsu and tofu salad. I'd happily come back, but I'll skip the tom yum next time and maybe explore more of their menu. read more

I've been here a couple times here and just really love it here. Everything is best eaten when it's hot and fresh! Me and my friend had ordered: Takoyaki, Shishito pepper, House special ramen, and Spicy Miso ramen with chicken. All is really good here. Their pork bone broth is so delicious. I ate the best bowl of ramen I have ever had. The noodles were soft but not too soft, and they soaked up the delicious broth. The soup was rich, warm, and full of flavor. It had a deep soy sauce taste with a little bit of garlic and spice. On top, there were slices of pork that were so tender they almost melted in my mouth. I think people forget about this spot or don't realize how stellar it is. To have been frequenting this spot for the last ten years says something. The sushi is quality, the fresh rolls are to die for, great non sushi items, and the staff are always friendly. Sushi planet has some of the best fresh rolls around. Also the presentation is a 10/10 here. If you haven't been I'd urge you to give them a try because I always find their fish is super fresh and the rolls are more creative than other spots. They've been able to stay open all of these years because they have just really good food. I also like that when I don't feel like sushi or want some different types of dishes this place always hits. For sushi these are my favorite: - OMG Roll - Albacore Delight Roll - Scallop cut roll - Mexican cut roll - Salmon sushi is always fire If you are not in the mood for sushi I love their lunch and dinner bento boxes. Reasonably priced and comes with a lot of food. Pro tip: best miso soup in Ventura county is served here. Back to the non-sushi items. Here are some favs: - Chicken fried rice - seasame chicken (dip in teriyaki sauce) - Shrimp tempura The staff are always nice here and friendly. I like dining inside because it's clean and comfortable. Staff are always attentive and never a bad vibe in the place. I've also been a long time costumer because their takeout is always flawless. I usually order delivery or takeout from here every other month (for the last ten years) and NOT ONCE has my order ever been Incorrect. Like that's seriously unheard of. They really pay attentive to detail here and always make a take away experience a pleasant one. If I had to make one comment that isn't gushy about how much I love this spot it would probably just be that it's a little pricey for what it is. Definitely due to the cost of goods I've seen the prices go up over the years. Some of my favorite rolls are $20+ and I do get that's a little steep. I've cut back on ordering as much just because I can't leave without spending $40-50 here every time but it's good, what can I say. Sushi planet is thankfully my local favorite sushi joint and I'm happy to keep supporting them because they've never let me down.

The food didn't take long to prepare (about 20-25 minutes) and still tasted warm and fresh when it arrived home. The servings are large, but white rice was not included with the entrees. The restaurant is clean and easy to locate in this shopping complex. The staff is very attentive to phone orders, and even prioritized taking a phone order ahead of me, even though I showed up first. Their service is hit and miss, but food is consistently tasty. Much better than ordering from a fast food Chinese restaurant. Give them a shot if you have patience and like freshly cooked Chinese food.

They scooped from the hardened dried out yet slimy slop they had sitting up front. It was late and we were already here so the wife and I played an episode of fear factor, trying to eat this food. Fujiya is my go to spot in Camarillo for reasonably priced Japanese food. I usually only order off…read morethe regular menu so can't say much about the AYCE since I'm not a big eater and I prefer more variety over quantity. Although I do enjoy sushi and sashimi, I find that my favorites from Fujiya are mostly the cooked food, such as the green mussels, salmon Kama, yellowtail Kama, and the agedashi tofu. There is just so much flavor in these dishes that it really overshadows the raw items such. One exception would be the poki salad, there's something about the sauce/dressing that I really like and once I started eating it I didn't stop until it was all gone. Their sashimi salad is also very yummy and you get quite a bit for the price. Service is always great, from the lady that is always there, to the younger servers, I've never had any issues and always felt welcomed.
