I was so disappointed, because on my last review I raved about how Jenny did a great job on my nails for my engagement. I was hoping I would get the same quality for my wedding nails, but it turned out sooo bad. The coating was lumpy, and both of my index finger nails were pointing sideways and not straight! And she came off rude and snappy this time around, whereas the first time she was very pleasant. I asked all my friends and family about what they thought, and they all told me to get them redone, especially because it was for my wedding. I honestly hate writing reviews but i am so unhappy. Was definitely rushed. I didn't notice anything was wrong til I got home. Excuse my ugly toe pics. First off I would like to say when I got there I asked how long it was going to be. She said oh right now. Ok so got there at 4pm was sat down a few minutes later. Sat there for about 10 mins waitting in the chair and for my self the water was extremely hot. Since I dipped my feet in. Then she asked me oh is it hot I said yes. She went to get an empty container or jug and took some water out and I kid you not dumped the water from my pedicure sink and emptied in the next persons pedicure sink which this lady next to me was in awe as well and the lady was like " oh heres some more water for you " like wtf. That is nasty number one and ewww. She did it 3 times btw and pretended not to hear the poor lady next to me say umm wtf and proceeded like nothing happened. Like lady I already dipped my feet in this hot ass water and your going to dump it next ladies pedicure tub... like seriously nasty. She proceeded with my pedicure to top it off used someone elses toe nail clippers nippers and nail filer because she did not open new ones in front of me. I honestly did not want to cause a seen so i just stayed calm. Since the older lady next to me didnt say anything either I just wanted this service to be done with. To top it off my to nails were crooked the nail polish was horrible and was not cleaned up and when she gave me a massage the lady massaged me with one hand the other hand was on her phone on tiktok. Not sure if she was the owner because she was the one who was answering the phone calls I have a video on of her but I am not able to post videos on here apparently so I took screen shots of the video. Clearly she must have had a bad day or something. This is unacceptable for service being paid for I work in the cosmo industry and this kind of service should be frowned upon. I asked one of the employees if this is the only nail place in the area because they seem to know everyone who walks in this place. They call you by your name, they know your family. I do NOT recommend this place. The price doesn't not match the service. They rush the whole process EVERY TIME and they aren't that clean here. It's actually very concerning and disgusting. I mean look at their carts.. I have never seen them take out the tools out of a seal blue bag! Are things being disinfected properly? Some of them are rude too. I choose a light pink & when it was applied it was a little too light for my skin tone but I never made a comment bc I didn't mind it & it is what it is but one of them had the nerve to say that my skin tone is too dark for it. WTH! I know colorism is a thing in your culture but why would you say that to a stranger? Also I always get gel manicure/ pedi and EVERY TIME they literally won't shut up about putting acrylic on it on your nail bc your nail broke and I always say I don't care, just cut it and no! She literally puts acrylic and doesn't even know how to properly apply it leaving my nail looking deformed. To top it off you aren't suppose to remove in grown toe nails at nail salons & they do!! They aren't suppose to. They leave bumps & bubbles on my gel manicures & it's so embarrassing. They don't even know how to do a decent French tip on both a manicure & pedicure. Yelp led us to this 4 star nail salon and we were highly impressed with the cleanliness, outstanding service and overall equipments they use such as the crystal glass foot bath and plush leather massage chairs. They have a very wide range of OPI nail colors to choose from amongst another brand I can't seem to remember. We both chose the orange/reddish tone OPI nail polish for our feet and french tips for our nails. We arrived at 10am. without an appointment but luckily there were two seats available. I would highly recommend and make an appointment! This place IS super busy because they are reasonably priced and the service is one of the best I've received from a nail salon. The total bill came out to $37 for mani/pedi +$5 extra for smoothing the heels and feet. Not a bad price considering how they've spent over 2 hours for everything. The whole time we were feeling very pampered and super sleepy from getting a massage by the chair and the person who was working on our hands and feet. At the end of the session, they have this UV light looking stand where you dry both the feet and nails. Very interesting stuff! I've posted a picture of my big fat toe to show what kind of color and design I got! Love my French tip nails too! Go look at it! =) We are definitely going back again! I am not faithful when it comes to nail salons. I tend to go to many different ones to just see what the difference could be. I did enjoy this nail salon called Luxury Nail and Spa. Came here during the day time on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all which to me I like. I actually hate it when it's packed because I feel like they are rushing you out the door and doing everything as fast as possible which sometimes doesn't make your nails turn out well. Located in a pretty much dying area where the Kmart use to be, this place has plenty of parking and it's a huge lot. I like how this is one of the only nail salons that actually listened to what I really wanted and during that day I wanted my long nails to be cut super short and guess what that is what I got!! Also I didn't want it to be any colour for my manicure, I know that might sound kind of strange but I have been having my nails in so many different colours that I just wanted to see them with a clear coat. So I'm pretty happy with them not pushing extra services on me and making me do gel or anything like that. This place is pretty nice and quiet. It's worth a try if you live around the area or if you visit Diamond Bar from time to time. read more
