I ordered strawberry tea with tapioca. Strawberry flavor was decent and not overly sweet. But you couldn't really taste much tea flavor and the tapioca was chewy with zero flavor of any kind. Lots of really cool flavors & options! The purple yam one is okay, pretty but nothing special IMO--basically just mashed yam mixed into milk tea. I saw some people didn't like the texture, but I thought it was fine. The double shot uji matcha (creme brulee uji matcha on the in-store menu) was really good, esp. with the added boba and red bean. Definitely recommend! I asked for 30% sugar (the least amt) but it was still pretty sweet so if i ever reorder I'll probably do no sugar. Boba was a 6/10, kinda hard lol. I'd give it 6 starts if I could, for this my favorite milk tea place around NYC area!! I have been a huge fan of milk tea since childhood, but interestingly, I am not a big fan of the tapioca pearls. Given this, I care more about the milk tea taste and flavor. I've tried almost all kinds of milk tea at this place and my favorites are black milk tea and matcha milk tea, both come with cheese, which enriches the milk tea texture and adds a bit salty flavor to it, making it less sweet. Moge Tee, although leaning towards the more expensive side, appeared to have great quality. They add real fruit into their drinks! Because of this I decided to give it a shot. The drink was great and the bubbles were not too chewy but also not too hard. I opened the cap to try to see if there were any bubbles hidden underneath the fruits and to my shock a piece of hair was dangling off the straw. No one had opened the cap after they had sealed it and I just-- . I have no idea if this happens often but the drink I got had a little bit more than I asked for. Moge Tee wins for style points (interior design), and ample seating, but their drinks are slightly more expensive than neighboring tea shops (their "super parfait" drinks are $6.75). Perhaps their ingredients are higher quality(?) than other nearby and bountiful Flushing tea shops, but Moge's charges a premium for their tea and latte concoctions. All that said, at least there is some justification for the higher price tag. As mentioned before they have a good amount of seating with nice furniture, so you can lounge and chat with your friends while you enjoy your drinks, making it more than just a grab-and-go spot, and their menu is pretty interesting. They offer avocado drinks which you don't find at other brand/chain locations, so kudos to them for being intrepid and bringing something a little different to Flushing. And, it goes without saying that they have all the popular, en vogue drinks of the day like your basic bish matcha lattes (which I love BTW), but overall, their products are genuinely better than decent. Sidebar: My biggest qualm with all these tea shops, not just Moge, is the use of plastic straws and single-use cups. I did not know plastic straws could not be recycled, so now we have this massive moral dilemma on our hands, because as much as we all love these fun drinks, there are consequences for not doing right by mother nature and our environment suffers (climate change is real). The world would be a much better place if all these tea and coffee shops utilized eco-friendly alternatives to plastic straws (i.e., bamboo and paper straws are both biodegradable). Before I start off this review, I want to state that the actual drinks were fine. The real problem lies in how poorly they package my drinks. I bought four drinks at this place and was on my way back to work. Disaster struck after I walked about three blocks. The handle of the bag broke off and spilling one of my drinks. I had to literally carry the bag with both my arms now. After getting back to my workplace, I handed my co-workers the drinks and the first thing they noticed was that the lids were loose. Like VERY loose. One of my co-workers ended up spilling a bit of the drink on her clothes. New tea place in flushing! The best cheese foam topped tea places I've tried. They have a pretty large selection between milk teas, fruit teas, matcha and coffee. I got the cheese uji matcha and cheese rose oolong tea and they were both very really good. What I really liked was the sweetness level. I forgot to tell them I wanted less sugar but it came way less sweeter than your typical bubble tea place which was a huge plus for me. Just sweet enough. Commenting on the cheese foam drinks, only. Cheese foam is the new thing in town and many bubble tea shops offer it. But not every shop can make the consistency good. Moge Tee is thus far, my favorite tea spot for cheese foam. The cheese foam is thick but airy, creamy but light, salty but sweet. You can really taste the foam with each sip without overwhelming the tea. It complements the tea very well. And the teas are fragrant with strong tea flavor. On the other hand, the prices are quite steep for their drinks at $6 - $7 for fruit teas. After tax, you are paying practically $8. Even their regular green and black teas come out to over $5 after taxes. This spot is definitely a splurge, not an affordable bubble tea place to frequent. read more

I ordered the Creme Brulee Milk Tea, OH MY! LOVE AT FIRST SIP! It was so refreshing, hint of brulee flavor, wasn't overly sweet, just the right amount. I am not a fan of sugary drinks, especially my teas and coffees. I was a little sad they were out of the matcha, but I'd definitely come back to try it! Truth be told, I'm a bit disappointed. There are two options here for the brown sugar bubble tea : milk vs milk tea. I was told the difference being the fresh milk option would be white in color, so I'm guessing it contains only milk and bubbles. I got the team option, but I didn't quite like taste of tea. Another bubble tea place in flushing. It's fairly new and always seem to be packed. You'll notice that the decor is nice and the spot is very clean. There are limited seating but if you wait long enough, people will leave. I've heard about the cheese bubble tea hype on a facebook video about a bubble tea shop in LA. Once I saw it on Moge Tee's menu, I had to get it. We ordered the strawberry fresh with bubbles, matcha with bubbles, and two matcha cheese teas with bubbles. The cheese tea is cream cheese (or very similar in taste) in lighter form on top of the milk tea and bubbles on the bottom. First, the bubbles are delicious. Sometimes I think bubble tea shops do their one job incorrectly by overcooking their bubbles or way undercooking them. It's either too hard (undercooked) or too mushy (overcooked). Moge's bubbles are first clear -- which I'm used to seeing dark bubbles -- and they're cooked al dente. They have texture and a small bite to it and it's perfectly cooked. Now let's talk about the cheese. It was tasty for about half of the drink and then it got to be too much. It's quite heavy and you don't feel that great afterwards but it's sweet, different and pretty tasty. I would suggest people to give it a try, but personally I will stick with my plain bubble milk tea going forward. read more

I don't want to write a bad review but what happened today was a first in bad service for me. I ordered a tea at their touch screen and sat down. Apparently their system wasn't working (though the money was taken out of my account), and one of the workers said something to the effect of "You can't just sit here". I showed them the transaction from my bank's website and they continued to act like I had no right to be there, that I was trying to rip them off, and talked about me to each other. This may be my new go-to place for a ice cold drink. I got the Double Shot Uji Matcha Tea and my mother got the Cheese Strawberry Tea. The Double Shot Uji Matcha tea was creamy and not too sweet while the Cheese Strawberry Tea was very fresh and had a very strong strawberry taste The decor of the shop was absolutely adorable. There were jars of tea leaves and there were even outlets located under each seat (great idea!). Moge Tea is definitely very different from other bubble tea places in Flushing. The prices aren't too bad considering the variety and how fresh everything is, and there is a lot of room. Like other reviewers mentioned, it's not a place where you can order and then get your drink within 1 a minute. It does take some time for them to make the drink. It took about 5 minutes for both of my drinks to come out and there were only about 2 other people before me. I really wanted to try one of their fruit teas, but I think that'll be for another time. read more

Tried this little tea shop that had a cute seating area, which had about 10-12 people there. There was no wait to order and the drinks were prepared quickly. The watermelon tea was slushy, sweet and refreshing. The milk tea was good. On the pricey side compared to the many options in the area.
