Bottomless salad, love the blue cheese crumbles and vinegrette dressing.

We dined here on a Tuesday night during the Holidays and it was busy. Saw reviews about slow service. It wasn't the case for us, our server Sydney was great! We mainly come here for the gumbo and bottomless salad. Along with their warm french bread and whipped butter. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is warm and inviting.

Looking for a new Sunday brunch venue we decided to visit Mac's on Main today and are very happy to have now discovered this great brunch spot. I'm not at all crazy about the way the restaurant is partitioned into these various smaller areas. It feels confined, isolated and claustrophobic to me. I like to experience the vibe of an entire restaurant scene when I dine out. That's an important part of a restaurant experience for me. But, that's just me. Mac's offers an expansive brunch menu and a nice wine list. My wife began with a mimosa ($4.50!) and I a Maker''s Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was exceptionally well done. Perfectly bourbon forward with just the right amount of simple syrup and bitters. A+. We decided to share the Eggs Point St. George, a Bene with lump crab meat (not a crab cake). The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The Hollandaise was standard Hollandaise fare which I perked up a bit to my taste with some hot sauce. Though we shared the entree we each received a plate consisting of a generous portion of berries, melon and fresh pineapple, all of which were perfectly ripe and sweet. The plate also includes a couple of small absolutely delicious cinnamon and sugar pastries. See my pic. Our server today was perfectly attentive from start to finish. I can see this becoming a regular brunch destination for us.

We came in on Saturday night without a reservation and a manager did her best to fit us in. Our party of five wasn't all there yet so we had a drink at the bar. Two Tito martinis that were made well but were small, 3 ounces but the price was right. Once seated, we Ordered our entrées with side salads. It was unlimited salad so that was satisfying. I ordered the pork chops, which were fabulous. Came with two chops and I substituted a vegetable for the starchy carb. Others had prime rib, which came out way too rare, grilled shrimp, and the fried chicken. Also, one had a fillet that was bacon wrapped, but that was pulled off immediately. That always screams prepackaged fillet to me, but she said it was good. The dining room is different and I couldn't put my finger on it until later when I realized it didn't have any carpet so maybe that was what was throwing me off. Bar area was nice and you're able to eat a full meal there. I must say, there drinks are priced right. No gouging. Service was very good and the restaurant was clean.

I had a friend in town who wanted to experience Main st. I wanted to try something new so we went with Macs. I feel this place has so much potential, nice location, nice ambiance, nice menu. It just lacks flavor! Everything we had, was 0 flavor. Let's start with the salad. The waiter claimed it was the equivalent to Olive Garden. Not even close. He said everyone raves about the house Vinaigrette dressing, It tasted like oil to me, no taste. The tomatoes with the salad were mush. Now for the entrees. Had the filet w/mash and the Grilled Gulf shrimp over rice and Jicama salsa. Once again, everything was bland. I had to eat the mangos with the jacima salsa to make the shrimp flavorful. Service was great and prices are reasonable but you get what you pay for and this was average. Some may enjoy Mac's, but it didn't trigger my pallete.

Went here for a work trip with 7 other coworkers. Overall, we enjoyed the food and had a really good time here! We ordered several apps to share (the calamari, scallops, and poke). The poke was my favorite of the three. I ordered the Scottish salmon and the Mac and cheese as a side. They say the salmon is cooked medium rare. I found the edges dry, but the medium-rare part in the middle was definitely the best. The Mac and cheese was also a solid side. The service was super friendly, but a little slow for ordering and getting food. We appreciated that they were so accommodating of a large group.

We enjoyed lunch here today. Started with the Mandu and Gumbo. Both tasty. Fam had Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken were both very good. Mashed potatoes with basil were unique, and good. Service was good as well. We will come back!

"Why have we never been here before?" "Because we're dumb." This was restated frequently during our 12.08.23 visit here for Happy Hour and a meal. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by the amazing Savannah, who hustles drinks and food like very few can. We both ordered the gumbo and unlimited salad, which also comes with house made bread. The beautifully simple salad came out accompanied by chilled serving plates. If you like bleu cheese, this is the salad for you! Romaine lettuce topped with tomatoes, onions and bleu cheese mixed with a delicious house dressing - more, please! And the bread - light fluffy warm bread served on a hot plate with a side of whipped butter - that just says it all. Our gumbo was excellent and hearty. I have never had gumbo in Louisiana, so I couldn't speak to its authenticity, but it was very tasty. With the attention given to the other dishes we saw rolling out of the kitchen, I am sure this gumbo is legit. And as good as it was, it doesn't matter. For the service and great food, this will be a new habit to make and look forward to. Highly recommend.

Ordered the scallop appetizer and it was delicious. I had the prime rib and it was so tender my husband had the ahi tuna and it was up to his expectations. We were given a complimentary slice of key lime pie for his birthday. The overall experience was excellent. Our waiter Alex R. was awesome. This was our first time here but it will not be our last.

My first time to this location; we went for Sunday brunch. I really miss the days of the buffet and the fresh cinnamon roll; most of my rolls were hard as a rock. Server was a bit neglectful when it came to filling our waters and bringing us the bill. The restaurant has the same feel as the Arlington location but this one has a patio which is a nice addition. My Eggs Florentine was tasty; the eggs were cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes, too much salt for me. Parking is available on the street or a public lot northwest of location.

My guy took me here for my Birthday Dinner and I wasn't disappointed. At the end of Main Street in Grapevine so perfect to walk around after eating. Everything we had was delicious and our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. I'll definitely come back!

The Texas chili had a good level of heat, but it was a bit gritty, as if it may have been slightly over-seasoned. My sour cream chicken enchiladas were decent, though not outstanding--the chicken was cubed rather than shredded, which affected the texture for me. My guy ordered the taco salad with spicy beef and really enjoyed it, though it definitely brought the heat--he was sweating by the end. Even so, he said he'd order it again. What really elevated the experience was our waiter, Cameron. He was friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions. He kept our drinks full without us ever having to ask, refilling our tea at least five times. His service alone took the experience from a 3-star to a 4-star visit.

I would probably give it a B. We did not try the chili, and it is a chili parlor, so shame on us. That said, the sampler platter was nice. It is worth a return trip for another good band. The service was very attentive without interrupting the music - it was a great balance.

(Well... maybe luck had a little something to do with it. ) As soon as we walked through the doors, we were warmly greeted by Ms. Jenna, our hostess. She welcomed us with a beautiful smile, was very polite and kind, and escorted us to a booth in Ms. Destinee's section. While we were there, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Corin, the General Manager. He was full of energy, very welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to have us there. It didn't take long to notice that his positive attitude had rubbed off on his staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and worked together as a team. That speaks volumes about his leadership. Luckily for us, we had just missed the lunch rush, so we were seated immediately without any wait. The restaurant itself was very clean, well organized, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. They also offer an outdoor dining area that was just as clean and well maintained as the inside. Ms. Destinee, our server, was wonderful. She was polite, welcoming, explained the menu, and gave us plenty of time to look everything over while bringing us glasses of water. To start, we ordered the Ranch Rings (onion rings) from the shareable menu for $13.75. They arrived hot, crispy, evenly battered, and perfectly seasoned. My only complaint was the cilantro, which just isn't my favorite. For our entrées, we all ordered from the "Perfect Pair" menu. My daughter chose the BLT sandwich with the Killer Mac & Cheese for $14.95. She absolutely loved it! The bread was nicely toasted, the sandwich was well seasoned, and the mac and cheese definitely lived up to its name. We also ordered the Salmon Club Sandwich with a Caesar salad for $14.95. The salmon was delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. I went with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich paired with a cup of their Tortilla Chicken Soup for $14.95. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. As for the soup... it was so good I honestly wished I had ordered another cup! Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience from beginning to end. Great food, excellent service, and an amazing atmosphere. Mr. Corin is doing an exceptional job, and his staff is a true reflection of his leadership. Without a doubt, I'll be coming back again. I hope to see y'all there!

It was a great way to kick off our lunch. It just hit lunch time, so the restaurant wasn't too busy and we decided to take a seat at the bar for our meal. The restuarant is beautiful, great decor, very bright yet great seating for small or large parties. It looked like there was private dining also available! As we perused the menu, we were greeted promptly by our bartender, who's name is slipping my mind, he was such a sweet guy! He gave us some excellent food and drink recommendations. The one drink I went with that he recommended was their 21-day pineapple infused vodka martini. Shaken beautifully and poured into an ice cold martini glass and dressed with a fresh pineapple wedge. It was nice, crisp, cold, and delightfully fresh! For the food, I was originally thinking a burger, bc it's a smokehouse, and that's what they specialize in, over the fire cooking, but his recommendation on the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich sounded too good to pass up, and in fact, had a missed it, I'd be missing out!!! The sandwich was huge, and after the camera eating first, I took my first big bite, and it was so flavorful. The chicken was hot, crunchy, sweet, with a little spice, crisp pickles, cheese melted as I took each bite. Just a great burst of flavors. The fries I liked very much, and now thinking back on it, should've ordered a side of the sauce they had on the sandwich to dip those fries in. My sister order the 1/2 ribs, which she says were really good, along with a side of au gratin potatoes, that looked like they came from someone's moms kitchen! She left nothing on that plate!!! This was a great first impression of the restuarant, and I look forward to trying them again, something that can be kissed by that flame!

She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
