I was looking for a Nespresso machine on sale and I found a bunch of them here. They're on sale for 25% off of original price. This is a great place to buy Christmas presents for those who love coffee

Inside of the Store

I have never been to a Macy's that literally divided the men's and women's in to two two completely different areas and I mean entity separate places at a shopping mall. For the average shopper, depending on the pursuit for men or women's clothing, this is ridiculous and a major inconvenience. Staff were not at all attentive but we're definitely concerned as to why I was literally standing in one place for several minutes, even though they saw my wife walking with me and head straight to the bathroom. I got so annoyed with them I literally started walking around hoping to get their eyes off of me, but I think it only made it worse. The prices were literally the same that you could find any other Macy's, on the high-end, but maybe on a better day they're much more affordable for the general customer. I don't see myself coming here anytime soon we're probably ever again. 2/5.

Curbside pick up fail
Adelaide C.

This review is about curbside pickup. Why even offer curbside pickup if it doesn't work? I came at 7 pm, 2 hours before closing. I tried to check in by clicking on the button that was provided in the email for my order. It did not work. Then I called the phone number and no one answered. Twice. The only reason I ordered at Macy's is because my purchase came with a free gift. I walked in and went and got my package at the At Your Service desk. They told me I didn't check in online. I tried again and it still did not work. I explained that I called twice and no acknowledgement they were not picking up the phone. There were two staff working at the desk and just me and one other customer.

Large selection esp for men's, great deals but the person helping me was a little strange. I think she was under stress or hated her job

Kinda messy but it's the one day sale. Lots of great buys. Many brands to choose from and are pricey otherwise without discounts.

This Macy's is always busy but they still focus on their customer service and most of the staff is pretty friendly and helpful.

Is this location still open for business? I've been calling for 2 days straight and no department is answering the phone.

Yes, They are open, same location and same hours.... they don't have a switchboard anymore

Are the dressing rooms open?

Most of them are still closed but at least one was open today while I was there.

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

It took some time to find items that interested me as I looked through the entire store (two floors for women and one for men). Some items were over priced but you can find some good gems here. Overall, I would recommend!

The thing I love about shopping here is they seem to always have exactly what I'm looking for. I went in recently hoping to find a blouse for my 70 y/o mom as a gift and found two equally perfect, trendy yet tasteful options. And they both look great on her. They always have my last-minute amazing date night outfit or summer dress. I am pretty much guaranteed to find my next favorite pair of jeans for a steal any given day. A lot of my work wardrobe is from Bombshell. The only "cons" would be maybe the parking (during peak downtown busy hours or farmer's mkt), and I wish they were open earlier and/or later, but it's not unusual for a small business.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

I was approached by a very friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. While I saw items I was interested in knowing more about, I was on a time limit and knew I wouldn't have time to even try anything on. I really wanted to do a quick walk around of the store to see what merchandise they had and to take a mental note. They had a live embroiderer near the dressing rooms who was embroidering things for clients. They also had little mini chocolate croissants with cute branded Sezane napkins near the shoe area. I think I was approached by two employees who were nice and personable. While I did not get greeted by others when I was in their area of the store. This is just a pop-up shop still -- its not a permanent location. There is one in SF apparently. I've been to the one in NYC and the pop-up shop in LA in the past. Sezane is on the higher price point, but I do still love the brand and would love to see more boutiques to visit for an in person shopping experience. I do believe that if you invest in pieces from this brand, they will be timeless, as I still would wear the items I purchased many years ago today.

I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!
