Fries were served with chipotle mayo. Truffle oil taste was very faint but still pretty good. Soy garlic Wings were awesome. Very crispy and savory. Nice sweet to savory ratio. Golden bbq looked very tasty but it was very very sweet. The flavor was too strong and a bit much for us. Not our favorite dish. Lychee Martini served with 2 lychees tasted well balanced. However, it tastes very similar to canned lychee you get from the store (still decent). Overall: I would come back to this place forsoy garlic and spicy wings. I would not order the Golden BBQ wings or any bbq flavor again though. I don't think it's worth trying bbq sauce that you can pretty get anywhere. read more

Came here for dinner on a Saturday with friends and wow, didn't have to make a reservation and wasn't crowded at almost 8PM. There is a Yelp waitlist that gives you the wait time which is cool...every time I checked on the way here, the wait time was under 5 minutes. Heard about this place and that this was the largest of all the locations...wanted to check it out. The please wait to be seated sign was cute as one walks in... Street parking - not easy to find so make ample time and hopefully one gets lucky to find a spot. Pay for parking at the meters - up to 10pm (2 hours max). Staff and service were good. The bar and seating area as one walk in is very loud, so we had the option to sit inside in the private room. Much quieter and can have an easier time having a conversation. Plenty of tvs to watch sports that was on...baseball season now so whatever game was playing. Yelp check-in offer 1 free shot of lychee soju..it was delicious! Great opportunity to have a shot and decide it we wanted to order the drink itself... next time! Variety of food and drinks on the menu. Even though it wasn't too crowded yet - the staff and kitchen were busy. Ordered a pitcher of soda for 3 people, which actually serves 4 or 4 1/2 cups. I truly feel you can never go wrong with an order of Korean fried chicken and Mad for Chicken helped to uphold my theory. I ordered a wing and drum combo with spicy and soy garlic flavors as well as a side of fries. The portions were favorable and everything was absolutely delicious. Debating between 4 and 4.5 stars, but I can definitively say that dining in is 100% better than the takeout experience. MFC is probably my top choice for korean fried chicken. My boyfriend and I usually do half & half (soy garlic/spicy), but recently found out they may be able to accomodate for 1/4 spicy in the 20 piece order! We also get the parm truffle fries & kimchi fried rice (couldnt find this on the menu but they have it). I wanted a salad, so we got the avocado salad as well. Parm truffle fries are solid - not much to comment on for these. The kimchi fried rice is really good here - it's packed full of flavor and they don't skimp on the ingredients either. Avocado salad is suprisingly good, but doesn't taste the healthiest since there's a good amount of dressing and cheese. But don't get me wrong - the dressing and cheese are very much appreciated, especially if you want a salad to trick yourself into thinking its a healthier meal. This is my favorite place to come to when i am craving Korean food. The bulgogi rice bowl is one of my favorite dishes on the menu. It has so many layers of pure flavor to devour and to me tastes like a nice home cooked meal. The service is always attentive and does a great job. Try the Bulgogi Kimchi Quesadilla for a new twist on the quesadilla. The kimchi fried rice is a delight, with a sunny side egg on top of it. I met some of my colleagues here at Mad for Chicken the other night for some food and catching up. I was vaguely aware of the chain since one of my brothers frequents here with his friends. He told me they have great chicken so I was really excited to meet up with my colleagues and try someplace new. MFC has a handful of locations in Queens, one in Brooklyn, and one in Texas. This location in Flushing is quite large - walking in you're greeted by a large dining area with tables throughout. There's also a sizable bar to the left as well as smaller dining rooms around the perimeter. The aesthetics are super casual - mostly dark wood tones accented with metals and picnic-style tables. The star of the menu is their chicken - wings to be specific. However, they do have a selection of apps, salads, and sandwiches if wings aren't your thing. We decided to get a number of finger foods - nachos, parmesan fries, sweet potato fries, and two flavors of wings: hot and garlic soy. The wings were excellent - super crispy with really good flavor. The hot wings had just the right amount of heat but I really loved the soy garlic ones. The nachos were good - piled high with just the right amount of toppings. The fries were good too - I was pleasantly surprised to see that the sweet potato fries were not mushy, and they came with a variety of dipping sauces in addition to ketchup. A nice touch was that they placed small buckets on the table for us to put bones in so that our plates wouldn't get cluttered - a little thing that went a long way. Service was great - all the food came out at a good pace and they were really on top of clearing our table between servings. Overall, I'm really impressed with my first MFC experience. The Bulgogi Bowl(pictured below) was astounding and very explicit in flavor! My stomach didn't allow me to finish but my mind forced me to. I've come here a few times to dine in, and the food is pretty solid. The Korean fried chicken is always crispy and pretty juicy on the inside. If you order spicy, be prepared because it is verrry spicy! I much prefer the soy garlic flavor. It's a but sweeter compared to the other soy garlic flavored chicken I've tried but it's still good. Inside is pretty clean and staff wear masks and gloves, in light of the pandemic. There are TVs with sports playing all around the restaurant. My only issue is that everytime I've eaten here, they took very long to bring the food over. I understand chicken may take a little longer and that's fine, but for appetizers like French fries it should not take the same amount of time as the chicken. Came here with my son and some friends the other night to enjoy some chicken and soju. I would have give this spot five stars if it wasn't for the big deal they made for not presenting my son's ID. My son is 11 years old and has a vaccine card which I presented but they kept stressing about the ID which is the first spot that ever asks me for an ID for my child. Anyway, my son really enjoyed his Mac and cheese. The pasta was well cooked and it was really creamy. I ordered the happy hour boneless chicken breast with spicy soy garlic sauce. We decided to visit and try the all you can eat today, Monday, Memorial Day lunch priced at $29.99 lunch Mon-Thurs and wasn't told that because it's Memorial Day the price is a dinner price all day $45.99. There was just so much breading that it was just overwhelming the ratio of breading to chicken.
