Ive been going to mad for chicken since they were just 1 small store in flushing. Im glad to say the chicken is back to the crispness as the original store from many years ago. This time I came to try the ayce lunch for 29. Be careful when ordering because the seafood boil portion is pretty big. What I really liked about the ayce was the chicken wings. If you can eat alot like me the deal is totally worth it. You can even add beer and cocktails for 3 dollars each.

Usually my go to and haven't been here for a while. Was craving for the AYCE which says all day. Which isn't all day. I went for late dinner and they said the last seating is 9:30 pm and they close at 12 am. We got there at 9:50 which is still more than 2 hours before closing. Bummer. We decided to leave.

Food is solid for a late night k-bar. Fried chicken is decent and large sized which makes sharing easy. Best deal for Wednesday was the 10 tenders for $10. Tenders are large and uses same batter as the fried chicken wings and is definitely a great deal. Careful with the mango habanero sauce...it is pretty spicy! Fun vibe and great spot to watch sports and hang out with friends. Service can be a little slow and you have to ask for things all the time but not bad. Just slightly below average.

Hands down the best fried chicken! The flavors are amazing and the menu is shareable which I like. The staff were very kind and explained the menu with so much patience. We got the bbq and plain and it was full of flavor. I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the slow ambience, it's a great place for a date or a friend hangout. Everyone will find something they love, I'm sure of it!

Have not been at this location in a while. Found out that they have seafood boils now. Their all you can eat deals seem really good for the price. Might have to try that next time we come around as wifey and son love seafood. But for tonight we got the usual - small order to soy garlic wings, bulgogi over rice, fried dumplings and lil man wanted spicy so he got his own sweet and spicy wings and fries. Service was quick and attentive. Was seated right away. Plenty of tables open for seating. Provided with popcorn and water as soon as sat. Placed our order about 5 mins afterwards and waited about 20 mins for the fried chicken while other items came out first. Everything tasted great! Love the soy garlic flavor on the chicken and the dumplings. Lil man loved the sweet and spicy chicken. Place was clean. Music was the right volume to hear conversation. They had the ncaa games on the tv. Bathroom was clean as well.

If you're craving for Korean fried chicken, this is your spot! Mad For Chicken is a popular Korean snack food chain. We dined here on Friday late afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. They have lunch special for $14.95 that came with a drink. I got the Crispy Chicken Bowl with signature crispy chicken, Korean glass noodles, steamed vegetables, romaine, corn, pico, gucamole, hickory bbq sauce, crema and choice of white rice or quinoa. It was like Korean style Chipotle/Bibimbap bowl served in a claypot! It is delicious and has everything that you can possibly want in one bowl and every bite. Of course, we had to get the Korean fried chicken and Kimchi Fries to share. The chicken was crisp on the outside but so juicy on the inside. The spicy mayo on the kimchi fries elevated the dish with a kick. It's spicy, salty, crispy, and addicting! The place has a nice casual vibe with a full bar. This is a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat with a bunch of friends. For the first time, Yelp check-in, you get a free soju shot. I got the lychee soju - so good!

Found this restaurant on a random google search looking for seafood boils, their specialty is korean chicken, which I wish I tried, I had the shrimp boil with lemon pepper sauce, I hated the sauce unfortunately. I took my leftovers home & added garlic butter & it was much better, the shrimp were soft which I liked, not over cooked. Lychee martini was good, my friend loved her shrimp, lobster & crab leg boil. She took the oreo churros home & they were old, she had to throw them out. I might return for the chicken only. The inside interior gives irish pub . The service was friendly, the AC was on high.

Went to try their AYCE menu as I saw an ad on Instagram. It was definitely worth it. Food came out quick, they brought out new menus without a question. I would definitely come back. Food quality was on point as well.

I've been to MFC since they first opened, they went through a lot of changes/adjustments over the years but overall decent place to eat. They started offering AYCE seafood boil and friend chicken, weekdays before 5pm is $29.99, snow crab is not included and last serving is around 3 or 3:30 pm from what the waitress told me. So I went here on a Friday afternoon, initially the place was almost empty but later on more business picked up. There was not much staff, and sometimes it was hard to get their attention. But they were overall nice. The AYCE offers seafood boil, Korean fried chicken, salad, fries, sides, and soft drinks. The boil is served "family style", all served in a tray. For the seafood boil you can only order one sauce at a time, and they will charge if there is leftover food and do not offer takeout containers. There is a 90 min time limit. Shrimp was cleaned and easy to peel, there were two types of oysters (green vs black), crawfish, and clams. I would opt for the oysters and shrimp, the clams are quite small and majority of the shells were empty when we got them. I recommend getting the cavatappi pasta, eggs, potatos, and corn. They also offer sausages, rice cake, ramen, etc. Overall would recommend especially with the weekday price, but I believe there are better seafood boils in queens.

My good friend and I decided to host a group get-together. Two months ago, I made a reservation for today. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dinner dates. It has been four years since my last visit to my favorite MFC location. I am back! Food *sharing is caring* Parmesan Truffle Fries: The fries were crispy and yummy. Poutine Fries: The crispy fries topped with bulgogi, corn, onions, and gravy were yummy. Bulgogi Toppoki Japchae: The rice cake, bulgogi, and Korean glass noodles were delicious. Signature Wings Medium (Soy Garlic): The fried chicken wings were finger-licking goodness. I am Team Wings for Life! Combo Large (Half & Half) + Mango Habanero Dipping Sauce Celery and Carrot Avocado Salad Drinks Sparkling Juice (Lychee): sweet and refreshingly delicious Taro Milkshake Iced Tea (Citron) Sam Adams Pint Thanks to all my friends for attending! Thanks to Manager Paul for accommodating my requests! Thanks to Server Hayoung for providing excellent service to my table!

It was indeed a verrrry hot day so I appreciated how the AC was absolutely blasting. I almost did a double take before walking in because I genuinely cannot do hot soup in this weather if there's no AC. Thankfully, it was nice and cool inside, which made the meal that much better. Everything was so thoughtfully done. The banchan were dangerously good (I could've kept eating them forever), and the collagen gomtang was rich, comforting, and perfect to share. My friend and I split one bowl, and they still brought us two bowls of rice, which was sooooo thoughtful. The staff is amazing. My friend and I definitely got carried away catching up, yet not once did we feel rushed. Instead, the staff kept making sure we were comfortable and even offered us more banchan. That level of hospitality is so rare and honestly made the entire meal feel extra special. Also... please do yourself a favor and order the Jeju Tangerine Fizz. It was hands down one of the most refreshing drinks I've had this summer and paired perfectly with the meal. Amazing food, incredible hospitality, icy-cold AC, and an experience that made me want to come back before I even left. 1000% recommend!!!

This place is a little of a hidden gem and not quite like other Korean restaurants. But no gatekeeping here! We also came at a weird lunch time around 2pm so it wasn't really busy and we were seated right away. Once you enter, you'd quickly notice the very detailed beautifully hand painted murals on the walls and an abundance of painted butterflies. The attention to detail is impeccable! The menu is also very cute and I'm guessing handmade. It was pretty detailed and we appreciated learning about each dish before deciding what to order. We ended up ordering the Kimchi Pancake with seafood, the spicy bulkoki udon and the jeyuk udon. The kimchi seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with squid and shrimp! It also came with a semi sweet dipping sauce that paired nicely. Both udons came out piping hot and fresh! Udon had a nice chew to it, was loaded with vegetables as well as meat for each dish. The egg was fried and did not have a runny yolk. For sides, they gave us 4 things- a tomato salad, kimchi cucumbers, braised string beans, and bean sprouts. The tomato salad came in this cute apple shaped dish but neither of us really cared for it- this is completely biased though since we're not really fans of tomato. What we really did love was the kimchi cucumbers! Also at the end, they served us 3 pieces of cantaloupe which were very sweet. Overall, yummy food, cute shop, and friendly/nice staff! I'd come back to try their other food options in the future!

There's 2 waitresses and one busser, but I felt only one of the waitress was pulling the weight, while the other (maybe she's the owner?) mostly chatted with one of the table customers. I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. Geo Si Gi is highly known for their signature gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup). Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set - $52.95 (for 2) The gamjatang is perfectly spiced - bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off - so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day. The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump - way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it's rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you're a mackerel fan like me, it's a must-order. . Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg . This set was massive for two - we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer. . Highly recommend for hearty, soul-warming Korean food in Flushing!

A couple of us shared a $13 bottle of the green grape flavor of Chum Churum, a soju. In terms of banchan, there was a bunch. Everyone got a cold and refreshing cabbage soup as well as a very tasty version of Braised Tofu/Dubu-jorim/두부조림. Once we ordered, we also got a bunch of other banchan, including cabbage, radish, and cucumber Kimchi, broccoli and cauliflower Namul, Marinated Mushrooms/Beoseot Bokkeum/버섯볶음, Anchovies With Peanuts/Myeolchi Bokkeum/멸치볶음, and Potato/Gamja Salad/감자샐러드. One of the other things brought out was a pretty tasty version of Raw Soy Sauce Marinated Crab/Ganjang-Gejang/간장게장. Most of these were refillable. The first actual thing that arrived was something that I can't eat, the $22.99 Seafood Pancake/Haemul Pajeon/해물파전. I have a cephalopod allergy, or in other words, anything with tentacles, so I avoid squid and octopus, and seafood pancakes always contain one of those two. Everyone else enjoyed it, though. The pajeon I could eat was the Kimchi Jeon/김치전 for a dollar less. It was pretty tasty, though I prefer other spots that had a bit more of a crisp. Next was one of their signatures, the grilled duck. Going from online reviews, we went with the non-spicy version, as people prefer it, as the spicier marinade overpowers the duck. This was the $29.99 Sang Ori Gui/생오리구이. The sliced duck was on a hot, sizzling plate, with there also being a lot of grilled onions and scallions. The duck had a mix of pieces, ranging from fatty to less so, and had a nice mix of textures. This was easily one of my favorites, though I liked it even more when paired with the ssamjang that arrived with the BBQ, as the sauce balanced the light fattiness. Arriving at a similar time was the last thing I couldn't eat, the Spicy Stir-Fried Baby Octopus on Iron Plate/Jjukkumi Cheolpan Bokkeu/철판쭈꾸비볶음, for $30.99. I couldn't try the octopus, but the portion was plentiful, and I had a bit of the noodles on the bottom after making sure there were no tentacles, as well as trying the sauce. The sauce was tasty, spicy, and very flavorful. We went with two of the Korean BBQ meats, one beef and one pork. My preference of the two was surprisingly the $49.99 Charcoal Grilled Marinated Beef Ribs/Yangnyeom Galbi/양념갈비. This also came with two veggies: kabocha squash and asparagus. The beef was extremely tender, had the perfect mix of fat and meat, and had only a light sweetness from the marinade. This was absolutely delicious and very much worth the price point. Also tasty was the Grilled Pork Belly/Samgyeopsal/삼겹살, for $36.95. This also came with a few things, including cabbage and a large mushroom. The pork belly was delicious, being just fatty enough and very tender as well, with a mild chew. The BBQ came with a few extra side dishes. This included a tasty steamed egg/Gyeran-jjim/계란찜, greens, an onion salad, ssamjang, salt, and a small boiling pot of soybean stew/doenjang jjigae. They were all tasty, though nothing particularly notable outside of the portions being generous. Also, at the end of the meal, they gave us some sujeonggwa. Not much for me to complain about this place. The food was very tasty overall, and the service was wonderful. I would go back and order a full beef BBQ set.
