I've stopped by here twice and I always have a great time. The service is good and the brews are quite enjoyable. I don't remember the gentleman's name who has served me on both visits but he's always eager to assist and incredibly kind. I really like the selections that are offered as far as what is on tap. I'm not really impressed with the food given that I can get better food elsewhere. But that's not to bash on them, I'm really never impressed with the food that is offered at brew pubs. Ended up here because the wife was laughing at the name when we were searching for someplace to eat on a Friday night. I'm happy we ended up here because my dinner was fantastic! I could have gave this three stars however because we had ordered two appetizers of a beer/cheese dip with flatbread as well as parmesan wings and they never showed up at our table until we were served our main course. The appetizers were good, but being from the Buffalo-area, I'll never order chicken wings in Texas. Wings should not be breaded and served with ranch..fyi. They did have a good taste to them however I hate to admit. I ordered the 'special' burger of the night which was called the 'Oscar Burger'. The burger was a crazy conception (hamburger, chopped steak, popcorn shrimp and a mayo based sauce on it). As crazy as it sounds it was exceptional! Hats off to the burger chef! Got an order of Texas poutine fries (sausage gravy and cheese) with my burger which probably pushed my dinner intake to around 7,000 calories. I was hallucinating the rest of the evening due to me being in a food coma! My dinner partner (my wife) ordered fish and chips which looked tasty enough, but why the hell would you get that with several special burgers on the menu or even a homemade pizza? So decided to update my review. Still have love for this place been going here regularly for the past 2 to 3 years. By far my favorite server has been Dakota.we have had some others that were fine just not as personable as he is. He sits down and takes time answering questions. Is quick to keep our beer and water glasses full. Super laid back environment. Children are welcomed which is nice.they host trivia nights. They play great music and even a place you could go read a book and have a beer. They have tv and projectors so if you want to catch a game they got it. As far as drinks and food.. We get the flights almost everytime of what ever they have in their brews. They also have lots of selection of other craft beers! They now serve wine [can wine, but I've had it and its great if you don't like beer] food is awesome some of the best burgers I've had. The good: The rotating beer menu. There were several items on their menu that piques my interest. The pulled-pork sandwich had great smoky flavor. The neutral: The Mad Pecker Fries. If there's a $3 upcharge for these things, they better be worth it. Unfortunately, they were a flavorless mess. The bad: Attention to detail. Stopped in for a late dinner. Had the Beer Cheese Fondue Bacon burger. It was really really good. Only downside was the burger was really well done, but the cheese helped the little bit of dryness experiences. Had the beer cheese bacon Mac and cheese for a side. As a Mac and cheese snob I would put this in my top 10. The bacon did a lot for it. Only thing I would change to make it top 5 would be more seasoning. Overall would definitely go back and get a different entree to experience more but would stick with the Mac and cheese for a side. read more

I cannot express how much I joyed this place. Aside from the beers, which are usually amazing, the staff is on point with regards to your knowledge and friendliness. But the one thing that really stands out about Mad pecker as a post to all the other breweries around is the quality of their food. Their burgers are to die for, as are there ways. When I am really indulging myself I go with the maple bacon wings and they are beyond amazing. The chips and salsa are extremely good, with a real nice heat to the salsa without being overpowering. Our waiter was amazing, he was funny, and beey knowledgeable about the beer, and helped me pick what Iight like, and was such a great experience. Live when you ask tour waiter what they like or recommend and they can tell you right away what they'd get or like. We ordered the the messy pecker fries and they didn't disappoint and actually tasted better with the beer we had. We got the wings pizza and pulled pork sandwich. The wings were okay, I got the maple bacon which tasted just like chicken wings rolled in syrup, wasn't for me. And the lemon pepper wings, which for me was too much lemon seasoning. The few that were lightly seasoned I ate. The pulled pork sandwich was good along with the BBQ sauce paired with it. Love the French fries! The pizza was delicious! This place has been on my list for awhile, but it is on the other side of town for me. So, when a friend and I decided to go mountain biking at Government Canyon, I recommended we hit this place up for an after-ride drink and food. Glad we got there before the big Friday night rush due to the limited capacity. We had a table by the bar and got to talk to the beer master about the different beers they brewed. He was knowledgable and we got to try a few. Started off with a NW IPA that was a little more hazy, but had a great NW taste. Moved on the the Porter that wasn't too heavy and finished with the English Ale that was good. They make a good quality beer. For food, we got the fried mushrooms and the Margherita pizza. The food was good and hit the spot, but I should have gotten a burger (looked really good going to other tables) or the Cubano for this Florida boy. The poor waitress we had was struggling with her job and missed many opportunities to improve our experience, but everyone has an off-day. Music was my type with a bunch of hip-hop beats that I could see reflected in their decor and names of beer. Would have tried A Stout Called Quest just because of the name! If I am ever back in the area, this will be my go-to brewery for some great tasting beers. read more

Pretty cool spot, very casual and laid back environment. Staff is very knowledgeable about their in house brewed beers. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband is and he raves about the blood orange flavored beer he had. I had a pineapple flavored cider and for not likening beer, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ask for Ray! Cool dude and will point you in the right direction for beer and food. They smoke their own pulled pork and put their beer in their yummy cheese. In the past we have given Mad Pecker Brewing 5(+) stars, but tonight was no bueno! Waited right at 45 minutes for a fondue burger and cheese sticks. Yes, we were forewarned that it was going to take longer than normal to get the food because they were busy, short-staffed and training new staff in the kitchen. That was not the issue as we are understanding. Well, my husband's meal came out looking great while my cheese sticks came out uber burnt. Politely asked them to be re-made (already had expressed my excitement of how I was looking forward to being an adult child and having cheese sticks for dinner). Meh. Waited right at 20-minutes for the re-make and had not been updated with how much longer it was going to take. At this point we were getting annoyed so we asked to cancel the order and get our check. Let's just say it is not pleasant watching your significant other enjoy their meal and you have nothing at all in front of you that is edible. I've been bugging him to come to Mad Pecker for the last 3 weeks which is what adds to the annoyance of our experience this evening. I don't understand these reviews. This was our Mac and cheese with like a teaspoon of bacon and super runny sauce. I'm 90% sure this is just watery velveeta, not a "beer cheese fondue" lol. The pizza was pretty disgusting too. Had to eat it with a fork and knife, it was so undercooked. Then the crust tasted like burnt pan. It was really bad, like gas station food. Holy wow! Decided last minute I didnt want to cook tonight and went to Yelp to find a burger. Found this place, in my old hood, and decided to give it a shot. The beer menu looked great but not available for take out. Not a big deal. Decided to grab a Mad Mushroom burger for my husband and I to split with the Messy Pecker fries and wow. The cheese was incredible, messy and complimented the fries so well. My son ordered the bacon cheese fondue burger with poutine and devoured everything in about 10 minutes. Ya'll, don't skip out on the hush poppers, they are so SO good! Disgustingly good and I'm sure, pair well with beer they offer. They were crispy, cheesy, spicy and the ranch theyre served with...perfection! I wish this place had been around when I lived in the area, I may not have moved! Now, the one con we had tonight. My son's burger was mighty pink on the inside. Not cold but insanely pink. We tossed it in the microwave for a bit to de-pinkit but really, it was all tasty.
