Breakfast!!
James T.

We had a wonderful breakfast there. Hidden off Cerrillos, but worth the time to get there. Large dining area, ample parking. Delightful help and the pastries like no other.

When you walk in the only thing you see are empty cases with no pastries at 9 am. The front doors were open and a food delivery truck was outside so our dining experience was accompanied by the sound of an eighteen wheeler with its engines running. The open doors also brought in flies that circled our table while we were there. Hubs ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of crispy bacon and I ordered a salad with beets, goat cheese and a lime vinaigrette. Hubs said eggs Benedict was tangy not creamy tasty and huffed at salad that was the side. Prices are high. It was $4 for two pieces of bacon. Our bill was $46 before tip. My salad was good. Not great. Goat cheese was two fried goat cheese wheels and beets were large pieces both purple and yellow and salad also had feta which was weird. I ordered hot tea and received no lemon, no honey and limited selections. I think there might be better breakfast options. I would skip this one if you visiting from out of town. If you are local I'm sure you are aware of the shortcomings.

Excellent pastries, the plain croissants are some of the best that I've had in the states.

Excellent menu, pleasant ambiance, good service and convenient location. French Onion soup and Smoked Salmon salad are my lunch favorites.

Patrons form a line to order, and signs on tables ask guests to order before settling into a table. Before we could give up and walk out, the owner/manager approached us at the Mille entrance with complete kindness, and he invited us to enter with the stroller to find seating before ordering. We were so surprised by his desire to accommodate the baby, and we accepted his generous offer, quickly finding a little corner table in the covered patio area at the back of the restaurant. Once the stroller was out of the way, I placed our orders, and we received our drinks quickly - a black hibiscus iced tea plus a creamy London Fog. Brunch followed shortly - croque Madame for me, veggie quiche for my friend, and a Nutella crepe to share. My taste of the quiche was super creamy, and the croque madame was as rich as expected. Crepe was lovely, though I wish they hadn't run out of eclairs, which are my favorite. We'll have to show up earlier next time - and there will be a next time! Thank you for the hospitality, Mille. The way you welcomed us, stroller and all, made all of the difference.

It's a charming, smaller shop with a wonderful, cozy ambiance the second you walk in. The owners were nice. Everything here is made to order, and you can really taste the quality and freshness. We tried their coffee, which was okay, but the food completely blew us away. The green chile breakfast burritos are an absolute must-try--deliciously flavorful, especially when paired with their house sauce. We also ordered the egg and bacon sandwich, which came loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and onions. Every single item was a decent, satisfying size and tasted amazingly delicious. If you are passing through or looking for a fantastic breakfast and coffee spot with great service, do not skip this place. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

First the huevos with green, not red chile as ordered. Then 10 or so minutes later, a waffle arrived at the table, ok. I waited 40 minutes for my Chicken Taco Salad that came with beef. My friends were done eating by then. I can't believe my meal was not comped. Most likely I will not return.

We came in here on our last day visiting Santa Fe in the summer and I'm so glad we did, as it was on my list of things to try after perusing Yelp for notables. I had a scrumptious white bean-roasted red pepper-melted cheese tartine on delicious, fresh house-made bread topped with a balsamic glaze. I think it was one of the better dishes I had while in town. It was served with an array of olives on the plate. So good! They were out of the egg salad sandwich by the time we arrived, which was something a family member wanted to try, but they ordered an avocado toast instead. Also great and served with olives. The service was fast and thoughtful. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. We found a great shaded spot outside for the five of us with a view facing the bustling bakery inside. Many people brought their bikes or dogs (allowed outside only) and met up with friends to eat and chat. At one point a server brought out an order of bread that we did not order, but he left it with us anyway, free of charge. So glad we got to try Sage Bakehouse and I'd definitely visit several more times when in the area!

The café has a cool, modern vibe with plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio. They were very busy on a Saturday morning. The counter staff was very matter-of-fact. Not rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. Honestly, I got the impression she was just under a lot of stress. We also asked another staff member if we could use one of the patio umbrellas (they were all closed for some reason), and he was prompt and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, a meat-filled empanada, a honey latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was a little too dark for my taste, though coffee preferences are definitely subjective. Interestingly, there's a place in Albuquerque that has an almost identical flavor profile. The toasted everything bagel was very good, but it didn't come with quite enough cream cheese. The single cream cheese packet also felt a bit lackluster presentation-wise. That said, when we asked for more, the response was friendly and accommodating. The honey latte had beautiful latte art and great flavor, definitely a highlight. The empanada, filled with ground beef, green chile, and piñon, was a bit over-toasted, but the filling itself was flavorful, even if somewhat sparse. Overall, I think 35 North has a lot going for it and could easily elevate the experience with a few small improvements to consistency and customer service.
