Made coffee just had their grand opening yesterday (Friday). This is a coffee chain with multiple locations around Orange County, and now a new location in La Palma (near corner of Valley View and Orangethorpe). They combine high end coffee and tea with Korean flavors. For example there is a seasonal drink now that is based on a a creamy corn milk with some foam on top, served cold. Despite being a grand opening day (with some overcast clouds), the ordering line and drink delivery were both moving quickly, indicative of good service. For this day we decided to sample a few Sri k options. For me the standout was the matcha, extremely smooth and not bitter like other places. I don't know how they did this, but it seemed more like a green milk tea than a typical matcha, and I am all about it. There is the option to add both strawberry puree or blueberry puree and we of course tried both. For me the strawberry fused much better, keeping a smooth more smooth and the flavors combining well. The overall sweetness was also appropriate, with no need to adjust it down. In comparison the blueberry puree contained some whole blueberries, which would require a big stray or would be left at the bottom of sipping. Further the blueberries were much sweeter and I added milk at home to tone it down. We also got a regular Hot Coffee Latte, and a Spiced Chai Tea Latte. The coffee latte was strongly bitter, though I suspect part of this is that we dropped it down to only 25% sweetness. The Spiced Chai Tea Latte was strongly aromatic, as to be expected for chai. In this drink the 25% sweetness came across as subtle and a good level, for the chai aroma and taste are what carried the drink. read more

- Spanish latte: yummy! - Sweet corn latte with corn top (sub with oat milk): this is from their special menu, but really hoping they put it on their permanent menu. Because I love it so much!!! - banana nut muffin: also yummy! - their matcha wasn't our favorite, but that's just our taste Their shop seems very clean, open, and has a minimalist vibe. Their Ube Cloud Matcha was delicious! The ube cream was so smooth and flavorful. The matcha was perfectly strong and blended with the ube too. There was lots of seating. It was perfect to catch up with one of my friends and grab a yummy drink! Service was very quick and friendly. There is a lot of free parking in their parking lot. read more

CONSIDERING THE UBE CLOUD? As someone who has eaten filipino ube desserts since early early childhood, I instantly have to give a good rating for their ube cloud. I have never eaten real ube: I don't fully understand how to articulate pandan, coconut, taro, cream, and ube flavors apart from each other at times when applicable, but this ube cloud DOES have the subtle "butteriness" I associate with ube. Thank you. So many places have barely there ube flavor and artificial flavoring that tastes like dye. This was good. MATCHA: The flavor is for serious matcha people. It has that basic depth to plain matcha. I'm not picking up that sort of playful, green "umami" from aminos or whatever. More of a bit of astringent serious matcha. imo. A good one, btw. It's enjoyable. BUT CAFFEINE SENSITIVE people: the matcha i can only enjoy in tiny sips and i am getting the instant dry mouth, but the caffeine so far feels calm but strong. enjoy carefully, bc I could not finish this drink. See update. UPDATE for caffeine sensitivity: You may need to skip the matcha. It's intensely strong even if it feels calm. The crash from drinking an inch was overwhelming. I was drinking so much water without relief. The caffeine feeling was otherwise smooth, but the instant dry mouth was the tell tale cue, I think. read more

OBSESSED!! is an understatement, my friends took my here when I was on there side of town. And it hasn't left my mind! I go when I can because the drive is 25-30 mins for me but always so worth it. I really wanted to love the iced matcha ube because it looked amazing, but the flavor didn't match the presentation. The matcha on its own tasted pretty watery, and while the ube had a nice flavor by itself, once everything was mixed together it just kind of fell flat. It ended up tasting like... nothing. Definitely pretty to look at, but I wish the flavors came through more. read more

Stopped by this place since a guy in my class was wearing a Made Coffee shirt and I'm nosy... Anyway, I got the sugarfree hazelnut latte & honey lavender latte w/ pistachio cream top and they were both great! There are many options to pick from and they're flexible on sweetness, milk, and ice adjustments. The people who rated this a 1 star for not serving hot drinks 20 minutes before closing has no consideration for the workers and their need to clean certain machines early to make time for oh i dont know cleaning literally everything that the customers touched and sat on for like 30 paid minutes after serving entitled people like you for the past 8 hours. If I'd complain about ANYTHING, it'd be the lids! It's always a struggle to flip the flap without it squirting at my face or on my shirt, but a coffee lid has little significance to how the place is run so not a big deal. Not bad, was a little bit of a wait to get the Spanish Latte, but they "Made Coffee," and it was sweet and creamy. The staff making the coffee was a Korean man, this I know because I heard him speaking Korean on his cell phone, not very professional, he might be the manager or owner. Anyway, he was the only one making our coffee drinks and when he placed the lid on my coffee cup, he dropped the lid on the side of his shirt and proceeded to place it on top of my cup to which I responded "no, that slid on your shirt, may I get a new lid?" He awkwardly laughed not knowing the germs which could have been on that lid and placed a new lid on my cup instead. I tasted the drink which was very sweet and didn't quite have a coffee taste to it, mostly tasted like whole milk, sugar, and cinnamon. This is a new coffee place in the city of La Palma which replaced another coffee place, so hopefully this one will be better than the last one and have a better taste in my mouth...may come back to try the Ube Matcha. read more

With more and more coffee places opening up, you have to really serve extraordinary drinks and food to stick out. I saw this spot, as my daughter attends piano lessons close by, and wanted to try it out while waiting. I thought it would be like any other coffee spot, but not only was the Spanish latte very good, but I bought a banana nut muffin that was also very good. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they both offer good coffee and food, which is always a plus. The staff was nice, and they were efficient. I will definitely be back to try more on their menu. read more

Made Coffee is a new and much-needed coffee shop in La Palma. It's conveniently located near the Kaiser La Palma Centerpointe office. They offer great coffee and pastries, and the space is cozy and comfortable, perfect for working or studying. A welcome addition to the area. The baristas are welcoming and friendly.. service was great.. they suggested some alternatives for coffee for next time as my coffee was a little bitter for my taste.. :) will definitely be coming here again to try something different. read more

Wonderful little coffee shop close to Kaiser. They have some muffins they can heat up for you and the coffee is delicious. The people are very friendly. The location is also nice and clean with places you can sit inside and outside. Plenty of parking here as well. Can't wait to come back and try other drinks! read more

This coffee shop is one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. The drinks are always fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly every time. I love this spot so much! I'm so glad they opened another location. I've ordered so many things and never had something I didn't like. On days where I don't want to have a massive sweet tooth (my regular order is a dirty horchata latte with ube cold foam) I order a regular iced chai latte. I feel like a testament of how good a coffee spot is is how good their chai is. It's not watery or overly sweet, you can actually taste the chai. The service is always quick and the workers are always so nice. I've never been disappointed. There's a lot of seating, it's bigger than their Fullerton location and there's a lot of natural light flowing in. Can't wait to come to this spot more! read more

I've generally had consistent experiences here, and I really hoped they'd keep it up. Unfortunately, on my last visit, the quality slipped. My coffee didn't taste as it usually does, and my sister's drink was missing an ingredient. On top of that, the customer service from the employee that morning wasn't up to the usual standard. I'd love to see them address these issues and get back to their former reliability. It is very spacious and clean, the owner is nice, it is a good place to hang out and work. read more

Walking distance from my office and honestly the matcha and coffee are amazing. The storefront is bright and open so you can really relax and enjoy the drinks. Staff are really friendly and quick at picking out great referrals if you are not sure what to order. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by a super friendly wife and husband duo. They both went over the menu with me and recommended some of their most popular drinks. I ended up getting their "Kyoto Cold Brew" with a pistachio cold foam to top it off. I also got one of the coffee cakes. The cold brew was smooth and rich, with the cold foam adding a nice creaminess to it. Pairing it with the sweetness of the coffee cake perfectly balanced everything out. It is also very spacious inside and there is a lot seating making it a perfect spot to do some schoolwork. I haven't been to the other locations but I would definitely come back for the service alone. read more

This place is way too good lol. I've probably been here over 10 times since their soft opening. Their coffee? Solid and smooth. The matcha? The quality is good enough that you don't even really need sweetener - but I opt for it anyway because their strawberry matcha uses REAL strawberry and it is SO good - every time. The service is very friendly as well, and the vibes are so good and calming. Everything you could want in a coffee shop, I think. Not sure if it's possible to go wrong with a drink here lol. I would say I'll be back but the owners already know me (and know that). Thank you for being exactly what I need in this area. read more

I was familiar with the Fullerton location. Happy to have one near. Still in the soft opening phase I believe but the decor and mood is very modern. Staff was attentive and answered all questions. I got the dirty Horchata latte and although I was a bit sad that the sugar level couldn't be adjusted, I still enjoyed it. Also super cute that they have a little dog treat section just like the floor to location. read more

Everyone I've interacted with has been super nice and welcoming, which honestly makes the experience even better. As for the pastries, they're really good too! They'll warm them up for you, and they have the cutest cookies that look like little cartoon characters. They sometimes have seasonal cookies as well, which I think is such a cute touch. We felt uncomfortable with the staring and the overall lack of warmth, and after standing there for a while, we decided to leave. What made it especially disappointing is that we are both minorities and genuinely wanted to support a new minority-owned business in the neighborhood. Instead, we walked away feeling completely unwelcome. Before leaving, I brought the experience up to someone who worked there, and the only response I received was, "I'm so sorry." There was no attempt to understand what happened or make us feel differently about the experience. It's really unfortunate that in 2026, people can still walk into a business and feel unwelcome because of the way they are treated. Customer service and simply acknowledging people who walk through your door should be the bare minimum. I really wanted to support this new neighborhood business, but unfortunately, I'll stick with places like Smoking Tiger where we have always felt welcomed and treated with kindness.

Since estate dales pop off in Buena Park this coffee shop has become a repeat on the weekend rotation. I recently tried their banana bread latte for the first time. This is not only banana flavored, but also has light pieces of graham cracker. There's no better way to describe this drink than a visual of my brain blowing - if only Yelp allowed emojis. I've found that a great quality flavored latte can be hard to come by. I like my morning beverages to be heavy on the caffeine - both in dosage and flavor. Arc has done a tremendous job of balancing the two. I've also tried their espresso tonic (insane) and their traditional matcha. Easily a top coffee shop in Orange County!

But when the lowest suggested tip starts above and beyond a "normal" amount, it feels less like a suggestion and more like pressure. At 35%, I half expected someone to be outside washing my car while my espresso was pulling. I'd definitely recommend this place for the coffee and pastries. I just hope they reconsider the default tip suggestions. I think that small change would make the experience as enjoyable at the register as it is everywhere else.

On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference. Extremely disappointed. We went to this place a long time ago when they first opened and remembered them having a more extensive menu and it being far better. Sad to see that this place has gone downhill. My family and I will definitely not be coming back again.

I recently stumbled across Made Coffee in La Palma and had such a great visit. The person helping me was super friendly and recommended one of their drinks, and wow -- it did not disappoint. I had been deciding between that and the matcha, and she mentioned that they take their matcha preparation seriously, which definitely made me want to come back and try it next time. The drink I ordered was so good, and the whole experience felt really welcoming. The ambiance inside is also really nice -- it's calm, cozy, and honestly seems like a great place to sit down and study or get some work done for a bit. Made Coffee in La Palma (one of four locations) is a solid spot. Got the Spanish latte w Oat Milk Iced-and their ham & cheese warmed up--both hit. The latte was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet but still smooth and flavorful. Space is big, not too busy, and great if you're trying to get some work done. Staff was super friendly too. Instead, we walked away feeling completely unwelcome. Before leaving, I brought the experience up to someone who worked there, and the only response I received was, "I'm so sorry." There was no attempt to understand what happened or make us feel differently about the experience. It's really unfortunate that in 2026, people can still walk into a business and feel unwelcome because of the way they are treated. Customer service and simply acknowledging people who walk through your door should be the bare minimum. I really wanted to support this new neighborhood business, but unfortunately, I'll stick with places like Smoking Tiger where we have always felt welcomed and treated with kindness.

Overall, the taste was alright and I should've ordered it more sweet (that was on me). I tried a sip of my friend's drink, the chestnut latte, and will definitely be coming back for that!
