Inside - spacious and not crowded

Great coffee shop to peacefully get some work done at. Tables are spaced out with good access to outlets. They have wifi but you gotta ask for the password up front. Unique coffee drinks. I got the Principessa - the white chocolate and raspberry latte. The quality of the coffee was good and the drink was pretty sweet which is what I was looking for that day. Just a friendly reminder to close the door behind you so the customers working there can stay cozy :)

The location of madman espresso could not be more prime - it sits between three popular bagel shops, providing such good quality coffee to serve those looking for a good bite and sip - both the latte and Americano were absolutely delicious. the espresso was rich and deep. doesn't taste burnt at all. - it's a pretty large space with seating for probably 15 people. it was quiet and the drinks were out quickly. - they have pistachio milk and macadamia milk, which I thought was super fun. I am not a fan of upcharges for alternative milks but at least they didn't charge me for a splash of almond milk in the Americano.

Outlets are well spaced out given the seating structure. The tables by the front windows are super cute. There is wifi but it's not advertised and you wouldn't know it unless you asked (which is good because there's fast turnaround). Of course, make sure to buy something! Music isn't too loud, good vibes all around. This feels like a hidden gem to get work done. Only thing is the lack of bathroom, which many mentioned. Temp is good but the door needs to keep being closed manually, otherwise it gets drafty. Very clean, fast service. I didn't realize the food is different at each location--this one doesn't have any of the bagel/egg options, but I did get a focaccia sandwich (truffle shuffle) for $9.50. Barista offered to heat it up, but it was not very warm, which I didn't mind. Still yummy. Also got the principessa, which I loved. Not scalding, perfect ratio of flavoring that wasn't too overpowering/syrupy. Interested in trying all their other drinks, and the pastries also look delicious.

Loved the coffee here! The service wasn't super friendly but I think that's just New York for ya, baby. I got the Madmancino iced and it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the city

Found the theme of this spot humorous and enjoyed their creative drinks. I appreciated that they provide seating as that's not something easy to find in this area. We ordered a Carmelisa and a Vanillaria, and both were decent lattes. They use Monin brand syrups, not sure about the espresso beans. Staff were kind, cozy warm cafe vibes on a cold day, simple and enjoyable espresso drinks.

The space is edgy, bordering on freeform madness and I love it. They have a classic and signature menu. I have to admit I may have ordered the wrong drink as I got a matcha when clearly the name of this shop should have prompted me to order an espresso, but I was on espresso overload trying out a couple of other places earlier. The matcha is deep so that is good. Definitely worth a try. Casual. Indoor seating. Please come and create your own experience.

Is a great spot to enjoy quality coffee in the heart of Midtown. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, perfect for a quick break or getting some work done. The espresso is rich and well-crafted, and they also offer fresh options for breakfast or a light lunch. A solid stop if you're near Penn Station or exploring the area.

Ordered a caramellisa - espresso, caramel and sea salt. Asked them to go light on the caramel and it was damn near perfect. Best coffee I've had in the city in a long while. Fantastic .

While there was nothing necessarily bad about this place it just did not meet the mark. The menu had many unique sounding specials so maybe those tast better! The matcha was not strong at all and tasted mostly like milk. I did get some extra powder added when I expressed that the matcha felt watered down. While I appreciate the service, the powder did not do much and just made the texture odd. The caramel latte was a little stronger it was just about average and tasted a little too homemade. The Barista was sweet and the place feels like a cute local shop. But just let down by the quality of the drinks :(

It's important to have places like this tucked in the nooks and crannies of Midtown Manhattan. A place with enough seating to have your own space, high ceilings to make the small space feel bigger, and a calm atmosphere to take away from the frantic, quite frankly manic, energy of midtown. Oh and a place that SLANGS great espresso. Madman has become me and my big homies goto spot to grab a coffee. I love Culture Espresso as much as the next person, but that place can get to be a zoo at prime coffee hours. We came here yesterday, and I was initially shocked as he pulled up with short hair and normally his flow is crraaaaazzyyyyyyyy. After asking him why he cut it and what inspired it, I was like damn should I cut mine too? After gathering my bearings from haircut-gate, I copped my patented hot americano with a cup of ice on the side (vet move) and the big homie got a latte... or maybe it was a cappuccino it's really stripping my mind rn damn... I said "stripping my mind" but obviously meant "slipping my mind" but I'm currently listening to that RHCP song "Strip My Mind" ahahaha my b. I was gonna edit that out but just thought y'all should know that. I've attached a pic of the lattuccino in question. It had that beautiful little flower-like design on it... honestly how do baristas do that? That is pure art. How hard is that? I kinda want someone to teach me that just to see how tough it is so I have a greater appreciation for it. I never get milk based coffee because it upsets my tummy (my immune system is iron though I promise), but when someone does and it has that little art I'm always blown away. Little details can make the biggest difference sometimes. Anyways, on the way out there is a big sign above the door that says "Life is Beautiful." I couldn't agree more Madman, I couldn't agree more. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

I'd actually passed by this place multiple times but had no idea it was a cafe. This shop itself is more of a grab-and-go, but it might still take a while since all drinks are whisked and made to order. There isn't really space for a line to form inside, so you may need to wait outside to order (there's also a bit of a lack of room to wait for your drink once it's ordered). My strawberry matcha came out to $9.25 total, which is pretty pricey, so I expected a lot. In total, it took me around 10-ish minutes to get my drink with about 4 people in front of me. At first it took a while for our orders to get taken since the two employees were focused on getting drinks out ASAP, one person was preparing the syrups and milk, and the other was making the matcha. The matcha itself had a nice green color. I've had many strawberry matchas prior to this, and based on my experience, this place was alright. The strawberry syrup was nice and not too sweet, but I wish there was a bit more flavoring or more of it, as after two sips I couldn't taste the strawberry at all. Overall, it's a nice shop with cute trinkets around and their own products they sell, like matchas and tea sets. However, for $9, it was a lot for what the drink offered in my opinion.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
