!!WARNING!! THIS BUSINESS INFLATES THEIR REVIEWS WITH BOTS TO MAKE IT SEEM MORE APPEALING THAN IT REALLT IS! YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF JUST BY LOOKING AT ALL THE FAKE PROFILES WITH SERO FRIENDS AND ONE REVIEW FOR MADRES LEAVING HIGH RATINGS!! This place is way too hyped up. (USING THE HOTS MAKES SENSE) It's all about appearance more than it is quality here because the food is not good at all and the vibes are, I guess, set up for decent social media posts, which is kinda tacky. Definitely not your traditional brunch spot with it's club-esque vibes and Insta-friendly paraphernalia. It's a photo-op spot with the caveat of serving lackluster and bland food.

Probably the best thing about our experience was that our server Elizabeth was genuinely kind. She deserves to be in a MUCH better established restaurant. Elizabeth, if you're reading this, don't sell yourself short serving at Madres!...

all. We were sat awfully close to other parties that were dining, which felt awkward. There was a moment in which a big party were sat next to us and the way some girls had to squeeze in to their seat unfortunately left my wife to be dealing with someone's rear end in mere inches away from her face. It was also revealing to see the kind of people Madres attracts: tourist types that are so immersed in themselves as they prioritize a photo op, that they are completely oblivious of their surroundings. My wife yet again had to face the awkwardness of close contact as one of the girls in the big party extended her harm out for a cheap family selfie. This girl's hand nearly bumped into my wife's face as she reached out for that selfie. I know this is not the restaurants fault overall. I'm just amazed at how some people can be so programmed to their phones that they have become completely oblivious to their surroundings. ANYway ... We tried the green chilaquiles and a traditional breakfast (a must for us for any brunch spots.) The chilaquiles were presented very neatly but were just okay. I asked for a sunny side up egg on the chilaquiles and it was done poorly (see pic.) As for their take on a traditional American breakfast, I'll just say to overall avoid it here. I appreciated the cooks trying but the hash browns were just a flat, (for lack of a better way to put it) burned salty surface that I'm certain was just frozen, precooked hash that was just slapped on the griddle to a crisp. The waffles were also akin to high school cafeteria quality as it was dry and tasted cheap. It was also surprising to see how sort of sad their scrambled eggs were. Just not good at all. Even their house coffee was underwhelming as I'm almost certain it was just a K-Cup brew. Overall, check out the vibes if that's what you value more than a great brunch dish. This spot is just hype, so don't expect to be given top quality food here.

I orders some chilaquiles Verdes and some strawberry French toast with a side of potatoes. I also ordered 2 lattes and that came out to $70. That's on the right end price for some not special food.

cute, instagram looking spot in bellflower! it's in a random location with ample parking! the service was a tad slow for me that morning. i had to remind the waiter for my hot sauce and ask for more water. i got the chiliquiles which were pretty tasty! i couldn't finish it and not sure if i'd order again. i would want to come back and try a different item to eat! check it kit for yourself!

Came here for Monday brunch. Service was great and environment was inviting. Their margaritas were delicious. I had the Chilaquiles Rojo with birria. Enjoyable?!? It was eatable and not spicy at all. Wish it had more meat. I love Mexican food but this time I ate maybe less than half of my meal. The venue was cute, food looks appealing but don't think I'll be coming back again and if I do it will be for the drinks!

3.5 stars. The phood photographs phantastically, but sad to say that the outside doesn't match the inside. Have you ever met someone who looks really put together on the outside only to get a "taste" of them & the inside and outside just don't match? Well. That was my experience with Madre's. The food looks much better than it tastes but whoever designed the food did a stellar job. If you don't have a picky palate and you are fooled by aesthetics, this place is for you, but I'm an authentic kinda gal. If you look really good on the outside, you better be just as good- if not better on the inside.

Although I had such a fun time with my girlfriends when we went here, I'm not sure I would come back just based on what I ordered and tried at the time. I ordered the birria omelette for $20... I was expecting to be wow-ed, but it was very average tasting. The meat needed more seasoning and the consume was lukewarm. I opted for a side salad instead of beans because I was low-carb at the time, so I appreciated the substitution. I was able to try my girlfriend's chilaquiles and they were okay... I think the plating was beautiful but it needed more seasoning! If I were to come back again, I would try their pancakes because those look delicious! Wasn't ecstatic about this visit.

Madres is definitely a spot worth checking out. If you're not in bellflower they have 7 other locations it looked like so you're in luck. The majority of the seating is in their patio that is open door. So in the winter definitely dress warmer. The restaurant is super clean and lively. Lots of servers and everyone is super friendly and attentive. Food wise the chilaquiles were really good! Big portion. Just wish there was more chicken. But flavor was solid. The lates were amazing and they have a big menu. They do coffees flights, mimosa flights, and margarita flights so if you're looking to get a drink it's a good spot for a weekend brunch! Overall place was solid. Would definitely come back!

I was a little worried about this place after reading some reviews in regards the chilaquiles. I Live for chilaquiles ! I came in today, Mother's Day , and there was a wait of course . We waited an hour and 20 minutes and it was worth it ! I ordered the red chilaquiles with no protein and they were actually pretty good ! I notice some reviews state how they were kinda dry and I agree but I ordered extra cheese and red sauce. It helped ! I love how they serve them on top of black beans, which by the way were delicious too! To drink I got a regular cold brew . I love very basic strong coffee! It gave me the energy I needed after eating all those carbs ! We also ordered the French toast and my two year old daughter enjoyed it . They were super thick but we helped cut them. My man ordered something from the American breakfast and he said it was pretty good.. The vibe was pretty chill! I'll definitely come back

Madres is a nice brunch spot with very accommodating service. The food is pretty good, to me this is definitely a spot where I'd go to treat myself or someone I know. The restaurant is nice, with good music, but mainly outdoors with a patio cover. It was definitely worth the try!

The food was absolutely delicious! My friend had the chilaquiles (verde), it was a little dry, but flavorful. Requested a side of salsa verde & it was great. The churro french toast was UH-mazing. Would definitely order again!!!! We will be back.

Came here for my first time, it was nice inside a little warm inside. Was sat down immediately which was nice. Had a hard time choosing what to eat whether it was sweet or savory. I'm glad I chose the sweet as a friend did savory and I was able to try. I would say I think their sweet is better than the savory dishes. Service was pretty good, had a few mix ups with other tables for drinks and food. Does seem fresh though because it did take awhile for food to come out. I would try again another sweet dish.

If you plan to eat brunch here on a weekend, be prepared to wait 45 to 1 hour on the waitlist. They have limiting seating in the waiting area, so most people were standing, including us. We were seated after 50 minutes or so. They do provide menus for you to look at while you wait. The service here is amazing. Our waiter was constantly making sure if we needed anything. For a party of 5, our total was $105, which wasn't bad. I honestly thought this restaurant was a bit higher end based on the social media posts and other reviews, so I was a bit surprised when our menus were printed on white sheets of paper with stains. Like what happened to the black and pink laminated menus seen on social media and other reviews? But other than thay small detail, you'll enjoy your time. First time at Madres Brunch and our server Jorge helped celebrate our friends 22nd birthday! We started with their mimosa flight one premium and original. We loved how they allowed you to customize the flavors to your liking and their food was so good! The chilaquiles(rojos) were so good!! I don't usually leave reviews but I had to with this spot! The Amazing ambiance & the food is OMG SO GOOD I ordered the mole chilaquiles and they over achieved my expectations! Totally understood the assignment ! We also got the Madres mimosas flight & they were so colorful, cute and good. Elizabeth our server was so nice and her service was very pleasant. Place is neat , food is good even though they just have 15 days open the staff is very courteous.. Also very humble. Our waiter George was very Helpful since it was our first time here he offered Us a variety of drinks . Delicious food and coffee flight!! I have been dying to get a coffee flight somewhere and this place has a pistachio latte, dulce de leche latte, iced chocolate, and mazapan latte. The portions are huge so it is definitely worth it! I got the chilaquiles and they had a great kick to it. I've heard about the Whittier location so we decided to stop by at this one. The ambiance reminds me of being in a resort in Mexico near a beach where everyone is happy to be there and music is playing. Food is excellent and servings are generous! NEW! Great spot for brunch. Food & drinks were amazing. Portions are huge! We checked in on yelp & were seated right when we got at the front. Parking can be a bit hard since the parking lot is small but you can also park in the residential area. Jorge our server was awesome; he made sure we were doing great. He recommended the passion iced tea & it did not disappoint! 10/10 My boyfriend got the chilaquiles verde with chicken. I got the pistachio waffle. Side of eggs & hash brown. All were very YUMMY! Food was not what I paid for. I wanted the birria chilaquiles. 18 dollars for it. Plus the 4 dollars for a fn egg. So 22 total for a plate of chips with salsa. No birria whatsoever In my syrup container of consume. I expected a nice size full plate of birria with my chilaquiles. I was so excites to go but this ruined it for me. Wait staff was friendly but the food lacked any kind of greatness because you guys decided to be cheap. Thanks for my first experience being sub par. I won't be coming back until you fix that portion control issue. Just messed up I was charged for an egg even though you picture it on the meal. And no birria. read more

My cousin and I have been dying to come to this cute brunch spot, we first tried their location in Whittier and although it looked promising it was a little small. We decided to come over to Bellflower because we were determined to try this out and it was so worth! We started with the Madres Chilaquiles and they were delicious! The hot horchata latte was so satisfying and paired perfectly with the beautiful journey pancakes. Our server Cassandra was so kind and helpful and walked us through the menu. If you like mimosas, then this place has a large variety of flavors with a 12 glass flight. Our server Jorge provided me with the popular recommendation. It was quite the presentation. The moment you walk in, EVERYONE is super welcoming. I ordered their iced mazapán latte which was not too sweet or strong, just perfect. I also got their passion fruit mimosa which was also really good. My boyfriend ordered their madres chilaquiles which was to die for. I kept picking at his plate because they're that good! The pistachio waffle was also really good and did not need any syrup at all. Jorge was our server and he was on top of everything and anticipated our needs without even asking!! read more

We recently visited Madres Brunch in Bellflower, we joined the waitlist at 11:30 am arrived and checked in at 12:30pm, but unfortunately, we didn't get seated until 1:30 pm. This long wait was quite frustrating, especially since there wasn't enough covered seating in the waiting area, making it uncomfortable on a hot day. Despite the delayed seating, the staff at Madres Brunch were friendly and accommodating once seated. They made an effort to ensure we were comfortable and attended to our needs throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food at Madres Brunch fell short of expectations. While the portions were generous and filling, the taste and quality were subpar. The Madres Chilaquiles, which we ordered to share, lacked the desired flavors and could have been much better. The On Fire waffles, though visually appealing upon arrival, were disappointingly dry even with the small scoop of ice cream. The overall dining experience left much to be desired, particularly when compared to other establishments offering similar prices and options. One highlight of the meal was the flight of mimosas, which was enjoyable for sharing with the table. However, it's worth noting that the flight only included three mimosas, which may be insufficient for larger groups or those looking to sample a wider variety. If there's one positive aspect to highlight, it would be the vibes and atmosphere of Madres Brunch. The restaurant exudes a trendy ambiance that adds to the overall experience. However, I would caution potential visitors to manage their expectations primarily when it comes to the food. Taking everything into account, I can only give Madres Brunch a 2 out of 5 star rating. While the friendly staff and decent mimosa flight contribute to a somewhat enjoyable experience, the subpar food and extensive wait times outweigh these positives. I arrived with a large group and checked in on Yelp at 11 am. I also checked in person at 11:50 and was told the wait would be under an hour. Despite being 4th in line, we waited over an hour due to our party size of 8. After waiting outside for an hour, I inquired with the hostess about the wait time. She showed me her tablet, indicating our party was first on the list, but others were seated before us. We were informed that we had to wait for a party of 10 to finish, even though they had just been seated. Despite available tables next to each other, they couldn't get them connected initially. After 20 minutes, the manager agreed to connect them. The wait for food was an additional half hour. Not to mention, FLIES SWARMING THE RESTAURANT. Our waitress didn't provide water until I asked and didn't check on us. The cold food, overpowering wall fans, and a $50+ gratuity charge for minimal service were disappointing. My husband and I visited this spot for breakfast on Wednesday after our busy schedules had kept us apart during our anniversary, preventing us from having dinner together. I discovered Madres Bruch on Yelp as one of the best places serving Chilaquiles (our favorite), aside from being a top romantic destination for brunch. The ambiance was truly inspiring. We were seated next to the southwest-facing windows, which provided us with a spirited view. We ordered the chilaquiles rojos, which were accompanied by mazapan. They were fresh and well seasoned with sauce dressing, a wonderful way to begin our meal. Later, we tried madres chilaquiles with eggs benedict on the side, which we shared. I wasn't particularly fond of the madres chilaquiles, and the veggies accompanying the eggs benedict were slightly not my fav. Everything else was perfect. It seems that their menu may vary seasonally, as what we saw online slightly didnt match what we were served, but I'm confident you'll always find something you'll enjoy. The birria eggs Benedict was delicious, it was not overly wet to soak into the bread and the birria had a nice flavor and not too salty. The wilma pancakes are delicious, covered in fruity pebbles and lechera and while on the sweet side already the pancakes themselves are not too sweet, so taking it slow and a balance with other plates made it more palatable and easier to eat. Service is good as well we showed up a bit after a rush hour and with about a 25 minute wait time we were serviced within that time and after ordering we did not have to wait too long to receive our food. Our server Tadeo Martinez came and checked in on us to make sure everything was fine and and patient while taking our order despite a bit of a rush, and also provided recommendations to some of the coffees they offer, my favorite being the pistachio coffee. I frequent Madre's Brunch often and typically enjoy my time here. However, my most recent visit--on my birthday, no less--was disappointing due to the service. Our server, Dominique, was not welcoming and seemed rushed despite the restaurant being slow. Her demeanor was serious and unapproachable throughout our entire visit. When my mom realized she had forgotten to request decaf coffee and apologized for the oversight, Dominique yanked the coffee from her hand without saying a word--no "It's okay" or "We'll take care of it." Later, when my wife quietly tried to ask for candles to celebrate my birthday, Dominique cut her off loudly, saying, "No, no, we don't do candles here," completely disregarding my wife's attempt to keep it low-key. As a regular, I was especially disappointed to experience such poor service on what should have been a special occasion. Aside from the service, I always enjoy the food and drinks. read more

Today was my first time coming by but I've been seeing it all over instagram and honestly it was a cute experience. The food was delicious however I did get the chilaquiles verdes with steak, and they were a little dry so I had to ask for more salsa and the steak could of had more flavor but for $7 more the portion size for steak was a little smaller than I thought it would be. The mimosa flight was delicious and super cute, highly recommend it. Oh and the horchata was sooooo fire! Never had better horchata hahaha. So, I went to Madre's Brunch, and let me tell you, it was like a big party in there! The food menu had a little something for everyone, which was cool. I tried this horchata latte and oh my goodness, it was seriously delicious! I gotta be honest though, the Madres Chilaquiles were just okay, not the best I've ever had. Now, the One birria sandwich was huge, like seriously gigantic. The only thing was, there was maybe too much bread compared to the sandwich stuff, you know what I mean? They had this Michelada flight thing too, which was alright, but I kind of wished there was more of the Michelada mix in each one. AMAZING! Cris and Elizabeth made my birthday brunch super special. They both provided me with excellent customer service, super attentive, and quick. The place is beautiful and calm, the decor is fun and fresh, and just gave off warm comforting vibes. The food was amazing, my boyfriend and I started off with a Birria Omelette and 2 Egg combo. He took the time to answer our questions about the menu. Even though we were sitting in a corner table and it was busy brunch time, he would constantly check in on us. I would come back and definitely request Job as our server!
