This place is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious--everything was perfect. We drove all the way from Murrieta, and it was totally worth it! I loved the decor and the lively vibe. The coffee was really good, and oh my goodness, the Journey Strawberry Pancakes were out of this world! So, so good! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, too. Definitely worth the drive and a place I'd happily come back to!
The iced matcha latte was perfect! The belgian waffle was fresh, sweet, and delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very chill and welcoming. I will definitely eat here again.
So everything was amazing. The food was flavorful and hot and just good. The mole was a huge reminder of how my grandmother used to make it. The beans are so tasty. The coffee is pretty decent actually. We will definitely be back. The waitress Anna was helpful and very pleasant. It's cool and clean inside and decently priced. They play good music
The atmosphere was nice but it was super hot inside there is no clear signage to let you know either wait to be seated or seat yourself our drink order was taken and brought back but a few waters were missing that eventually got brought to the table once we placed our food order everyone but two oatmeal's were brought out upon dumping out the oatmeal to cool down for my daughter I found a hair in it. I was half way through my sandwich when I found another hair no server or anyone had came around to check on us so I wasn't able to let them know right away someone in our group had to go to the front to tell them we had been waiting a while for our Check and we still waited what seemed like forever for anyone to come to our table and I told them about the hairs said they would speak to a manager about it Our server came back and said she would speak to a manager as well and come back to us finally we checked out and left The 9 year old in our group said she would never want to come back we all left very disappointed
I finally got this place out of my system. I was really craving madres for a while. My sister got a light white mocha latte and I got the Madres fall mimosas; green apple, pomegranate, & Tiffany. All tasted good my favorite flavor was pomegranate. My sister liked that one as well. It was very beautifully done and colorful. We came here to eat the yummy pancakes. She got the journey again and I wanted to try the Wilma. I honestly liked the journey way more. I shared the Birria Benedict. My sister really liked the beef. It was great, but I needed a little more flavor to the salad. It was bland, but I'm sure it's because the birria had so much flavor. I also enjoyed the salsa that came with it. They are both good, but the habanero was the best. It wasn't too overwhelming spicy. The service is great and I love the presentation with the pancakes and everything was nicely done and plated well.
Madres brunch has a bunch of amazing qualities but fell short for me and my fiancée on a couple of culinary notes. The inside is absolutely beautiful... however me and my fiancée had our dogs and we called ahead to make sure they allowed them which they did but their patio has absolutely no covering... we ended up swapping with a couple who was outside and kinda had shade... the tables outside also looked very very worn... some or the edges were coming apart. So that ended up taking off a star. The service was actually really nice up until the end..our hostess was checking in on us and was great with our pups but I think her shift may have ended and no one came out to us after that. I had to go in to ask for our check. So that took off another star. The food was good but there were just some things that were off. The pickled onions just tasted like vinegar... we could tell there was not lemon or lime juice, sugar, salt etc and you need that when pickling. We also did not understand the sesame seeds on the food... it's a weird mix of Asian influences but did not fit. The mole was ok but it did not have the depth of flavor and my carne asada we definitely not cooked fresh... it seemed like it was pre cooked and left to rest. I usually like med rare on my steak but it was cooked all the way through and under seasoned. My cafe de olla was not too bad and overall I was hungry so I did finish my food. Also my grandmother would come down and clash me with a chankla if I did not finish my food lol. Overall there were some cultural influences that did not match with the food and it seems like there were sum cut corners that did not need to be taken. Me may go back and give it a shot due to maybe an off day of cooking so I would. It sway you from giving it a shot in hopes for your experience to be better.
This place has amazing customer service and such a great environment. Where it lacks is in the food. The food was decent but I probably wouldn't return, in my opinion it's a bit overpriced for the quality and taste of the food.
Just WOW! This was my second visit to Madres Brunch, and it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and welcoming. The food? Incredible. The drinks? Perfectly crafted. Everything truly deserves a chef's kiss!!! And I can't say enough about the service--both times I've been here, every server has been attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. Today, we had Arely, and she was AMAZING! Her service was prompt and seamless, but what really stood out was how she interacted with my 4-year-old daughter. She was so sweet, engaging, and made her feel completely comfortable and included, which means everything as a parent. It's not easy to find a place that consistently delivers great food, great vibes, and exceptional service--but Madres Brunch does it effortlessly. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I saw this new spot had opened where Happy Crab Hot Pot used to be, and after checking out their Instagram with all the delicious looking food pics, I decided to give it a try. The inside is definitely Instagram-friendly with artsy painted walls, neon pink signs, and green leafy backdrops. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. I ordered the birria omelette with a side of beans, and my partner tried their new steak, jalapeño, and cheese croissant sandwich which came with some fried potatoes. For drinks, I went with the strawberry horchata and an iced latte. The presentation was on point, but the flavors didn't quite live up to the look. My birria omelette was pretty bland that I had to add extra salt and pepper just to make it enjoyable. The beans were just okay. The croissant sandwich was good overall but the steak could have been a little more tender and flavorful and barely had any fried potatoes. Drinks were solid, both the strawberry horchata and the latte were tasty. One thing to note: almost everything on the menu is $19 and up. For the portion sizes and the flavors, I don't think it's worth the price. Overall, not a terrible experience, but I left feeling underwhelmed. I don't think I'll be coming back.
Madres Brunch is such a gem! My friend and I came here for brunch and we were both so impressed. We each got lattes. I got mine hot, hers iced and they were both delicious and made perfectly. I ordered the birria omelette, and wow... so flavorful! The meat was tender and cooked just right, packed with flavor in every bite. On top of the amazing food and drinks, the vibe here is adorable, bright, welcoming, and perfect for a girls' day out. Definitely one of those spots that makes you want to linger, sip your coffee, and catch up with friends. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back!
Great service and friendly staff. We went for my birthday and this place did not disappoint! I ordered the chai tea latte along with the crunchy and very satisfying waffle and the steak and eggs. I see the potential in this place. However, the customer service was horrible. No one is friendly, they don't seem happy to be working and when asking questions they seemed bothered. The drinks were good, we got an iced white chocolate latte & banana shake. The journey pancakes were the pink ones and the pancakes were dry and the presentation of the lechera on top was cool but that's it. The chilaquiles had very minimal flavor and the tortillas were already soggy and dry with almost to no salsa, we even had to ask for a side of salsa. Unfortunately there's no kids menu so had to order à la carte. So there's potential but it's more about presentation and lacked flavor. Customer service also needs to improve for sure. read more

For starters, this food made my friend throw up. We have never encountered a restaurant like this. It was pleasant first bite then it seems like it wasnt meant for a second bite. Prices seem only valid for aesthetics but not the actual food. Service was okay, it was an empty restaurant. read more
We stopped into Madres for brunch on Saturday at 11am and had a short wait before getting seated. No complaints, because the real star here was the service. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, and it felt like they were genuinely happy we showed up hungry. The vibe was just right: busy enough to feel alive, but not so crowded that you're elbowing your neighbor for salsa. Food highlights? My family tried the chilaquiles in both red and green. The red had that smoky chipotle kick that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it, while the green was bright, fresh, and totally mild. I went for the Birria Benedictos, which turned out to be hearty, filling, and downright delicious. The side of crispy potatoes didn't stand a chance. We each ordered an agua fresca to sip on. The pepino con limón was the winner of the day, refreshing and zesty, the kind of drink that makes you think, "Yep, this is how brunch should taste." We left full, happy, and already talking about what we'll order next time. Madres has that perfect mix of good food, good vibes, and genuinely great people that makes you want to come back. The place was full of good spirits and happy customers. I felt that this restaurant is more focused on how instagrammable/tiktok friendly it can be. I really wanted to love this place because the food looked good and the vibes seemed fun. My friend and I both ordered the Steak Chilaquiles Verdes and then stated we might share waffles or pancakes. We got our food and only one order of chilaquiles came out. We asked where the second one was and the server said, "I thought you were sharing." That was not the case. They apologized and put a rush order for the second plate. We got our food, but the chilaquiles was quite dry. We kept asking for salsa and had to pour 4 to go cups to drench it and it was still not enough. It was also very hard to get ahold of our server to ask for more salsa. The presentation was nice and the steak was cooked well. Other than that, it was a good time. I just hope the food quality would be focused on more rather than being the next influencer highlight spot. read more

Finally tried a new spot in Corona for brunch. It is very lively and has a good vibe inside. Loved the music choice! On to the food...I had the Ensenada Omelette and a white mocha latte. The hubby tried their monthly special Lomo Salteado Chilequiles (you can find monthly specials by scanning a QR code on their menu) and our lil one tried the Hazel waffle. The omelette was pretty good, if you like seafood. The chilequiles was pretty spicy (hubby was warned but he still went for it). It had a good spice to it but definitely had to break it up with some waffles. The waffles came with chocolate ice cream but I think it could have used some whip cream instead. Finished the brunch with trying out a pineapple mimosa. Overall it was very good. Always happy to support local so give them a try! Also, Leslie was our server and she was wonderful! read more

It was delicious. I love chilaquiles and when I saw this place open early and with 4 different chilaquiles choices to choose from I had to change my plans to come here. I had the house classic which came with birria and over easy egg and it was a 10/10. My girlfriend had the rojo and nearly at the whole plate (She's very small). We will be back soon to try the verde and custom chilaquiles. We actually sat next to the owner who commended us as well. I loved having brunch here with my daughter, son-in-law & husband! I got the mimosa flight and ordered a delicious omelette and everyone in my party loved their food and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! This is my 2nd time here. We ordered the chilaquiles and the Benedict. My son ordered the hazel Belgian waffle. Everything was in large portions and outstanding. We had the chilaquiles Rojas and it was not only beautifully pasted but tasted outstanding. Our service was also top notch! We came in late on a Sunday as they close at 4pm. I love the food and wood absolutely return. Now let's talk about the drinks... you MUST try the margarita flight! There are 4 in each large portions very strong. If you are a lightweight after 2 you will be feeling it a bit. Mango, watermelon, strawberry & traditional... all were delicious! They also have monthly new dishes so regulars don't get bored. Hot pink is my favorite and everything is cute and pink. The ONLY reason im giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was HOT in there. Not sure if the AC was down or no installed or thats the regular. I did come at 3pm and its probably like 90 today, but I was hot and sweaty & im a tiny person so.. read more

Very poor service, good food. We were sat at a half full restaurant and ignored for about 10 minutes. We had to ask for service. Server took order and only came back after about 20 minutes. We had to ask runners and others for water, utensils etc. Positives coffee was pistachio latte was delicious, I would have ordered another if anybody had bothered to check, but oh well. Wife ordered ice tea and got a hot tea with too little ice-I would skip their teas. All the plates had good quality food. I would never order the heuvos divorciados again. 17 bucks for two eggs and half a dry baked russet potato. Seriously two eggs. Thankfully my kids didn't eat all their pancakes. Wife was very happy with her chilaqueles and it tasted good. Oatmeal is with milk and was great. Strawberry pancakes were good. We go to breakfast 3-5 times a month-Corkeys dennys etc. I would give this another try in 3-6 months see if they can figure out their extremely poor service. Better management maybe. I would name our server but he never bothered to introduce himself. The portions on other plates was much better. read more

I went to Madres Brunch for a girls day over the weekend, and overall we had a really good experience. We arrived at the perfect time because we were seated right away, and shortly after, people who came in after us were put on a wait -- so our timing worked out great! The food did not disappoint. I tried the hot strawberry horchata, and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken milanesa chilaquiles, and they were just as good. The flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh. We also all tried the Fruity Pebbles pancakes, and they were so fun, definitely a must-try if you're in the mood for something sweet and nostalgic. The only downside was the wait time once we ordered. It took a little longer than expected for our food to come out, and there was also a bit of a delay when we requested the check. It seemed like they may have been a little short-staffed, as we didn't see many servers on the floor -- mostly food runners and bussers. Since it was very busy, we completely understood and were patient. One small note is that the seating felt a bit tight. We were seated very close to the party next to us, which made it feel a little cramped. We understand we could have asked to be seated elsewhere, but that likely would have meant waiting longer. It might help if there were a little more space between some of the tables to make the experience more comfortable. Overall, the food and drinks were great, and despite the minor delays, we really enjoyed our brunch and would definitely come back. read more

Nice and welcoming atmosphere. I came alone, was seated right away and the server Vanessa was nice and friendly. The food was delicious I got the Belgian waffles with bacon and eggs. You can tell they take pride in the presentation of their food and drinks but the taste was ever better. I'll definitely come back again and I can't wait to come here with other people. read more

Ok, where do I start. We had the Madre Chilaquiles (birria), mole Chilaquiles and the pistachio Belgium waffles. The food was good. The service was good. Now this is not a jab at them because I'm just being honest and this is my personal preference. The madre Chilaquiles would have been better with a slice of lime on the side because everyone knows a little lime on the birria is really good. The Mole Chilaquiles were good but a little on the sweet side for me because I like spicy. As far as the pistachio waffles, im not big on sweet breakfast food so I'm going to leave that alone but I am going to say the presentation was good. The service was good and the atmosphere was a little too upbeat for me. What do I mean by that is when I go to breakfast I want it to be relaxing not club music playing in the background. Boom, boom, boom, boom....... All in all it was good but a little too trendy for me. It's more for a younger crowd for sure. In my 20's it would have been a good place to go early morning after a club. Take it all however you want. This is just one man's opinion. read more

So I was so stoked to find out we were getting a madres brunch in my home town so when we found out it opened my husband and I decided to give it a try. From the moment you walk in to the restaurant the vibe and esthetic look were on point and even the servers were nice and friendly! I ordered an iced sugar free vanilla latte and the huevos rancheros which were decent and my husband ordered the "The One" breakfast sandwich which comes with birria but unfortunately the meat was cold and so was the consume. I do not want to sound that I'm being too hard but since I know they recently opened I would be willing to give them a second chance. I would give the food a 7/10. I do understand they just opened so they're getting things going. Overall, it's a good spot with nice ambience and what better now that we have it close by and not having to commute out of the city to try it out. read more
