This place is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious--everything was perfect. We drove all the way from Murrieta, and it was totally worth it! I loved the decor and the lively vibe. The coffee was really good, and oh my goodness, the Journey Strawberry Pancakes were out of this world! So, so good! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, too. Definitely worth the drive and a place I'd happily come back to!

So everything was amazing. The food was flavorful and hot and just good. The mole was a huge reminder of how my grandmother used to make it. The beans are so tasty. The coffee is pretty decent actually. We will definitely be back. The waitress Anna was helpful and very pleasant. It's cool and clean inside and decently priced. They play good music

The atmosphere was nice but it was super hot inside there is no clear signage to let you know either wait to be seated or seat yourself our drink order was taken and brought back but a few waters were missing that eventually got brought to the table once we placed our food order everyone but two oatmeal's were brought out upon dumping out the oatmeal to cool down for my daughter I found a hair in it. I was half way through my sandwich when I found another hair no server or anyone had came around to check on us so I wasn't able to let them know right away someone in our group had to go to the front to tell them we had been waiting a while for our Check and we still waited what seemed like forever for anyone to come to our table and I told them about the hairs said they would speak to a manager about it Our server came back and said she would speak to a manager as well and come back to us finally we checked out and left The 9 year old in our group said she would never want to come back we all left very disappointed

I finally got this place out of my system. I was really craving madres for a while. My sister got a light white mocha latte and I got the Madres fall mimosas; green apple, pomegranate, & Tiffany. All tasted good my favorite flavor was pomegranate. My sister liked that one as well. It was very beautifully done and colorful. We came here to eat the yummy pancakes. She got the journey again and I wanted to try the Wilma. I honestly liked the journey way more. I shared the Birria Benedict. My sister really liked the beef. It was great, but I needed a little more flavor to the salad. It was bland, but I'm sure it's because the birria had so much flavor. I also enjoyed the salsa that came with it. They are both good, but the habanero was the best. It wasn't too overwhelming spicy. The service is great and I love the presentation with the pancakes and everything was nicely done and plated well.

Madres brunch has a bunch of amazing qualities but fell short for me and my fiancée on a couple of culinary notes. The inside is absolutely beautiful... however me and my fiancée had our dogs and we called ahead to make sure they allowed them which they did but their patio has absolutely no covering... we ended up swapping with a couple who was outside and kinda had shade... the tables outside also looked very very worn... some or the edges were coming apart. So that ended up taking off a star. The service was actually really nice up until the end..our hostess was checking in on us and was great with our pups but I think her shift may have ended and no one came out to us after that. I had to go in to ask for our check. So that took off another star. The food was good but there were just some things that were off. The pickled onions just tasted like vinegar... we could tell there was not lemon or lime juice, sugar, salt etc and you need that when pickling. We also did not understand the sesame seeds on the food... it's a weird mix of Asian influences but did not fit. The mole was ok but it did not have the depth of flavor and my carne asada we definitely not cooked fresh... it seemed like it was pre cooked and left to rest. I usually like med rare on my steak but it was cooked all the way through and under seasoned. My cafe de olla was not too bad and overall I was hungry so I did finish my food. Also my grandmother would come down and clash me with a chankla if I did not finish my food lol. Overall there were some cultural influences that did not match with the food and it seems like there were sum cut corners that did not need to be taken. Me may go back and give it a shot due to maybe an off day of cooking so I would. It sway you from giving it a shot in hopes for your experience to be better.

This place has amazing customer service and such a great environment. Where it lacks is in the food. The food was decent but I probably wouldn't return, in my opinion it's a bit overpriced for the quality and taste of the food.

Just WOW! This was my second visit to Madres Brunch, and it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and welcoming. The food? Incredible. The drinks? Perfectly crafted. Everything truly deserves a chef's kiss!!! And I can't say enough about the service--both times I've been here, every server has been attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. Today, we had Arely, and she was AMAZING! Her service was prompt and seamless, but what really stood out was how she interacted with my 4-year-old daughter. She was so sweet, engaging, and made her feel completely comfortable and included, which means everything as a parent. It's not easy to find a place that consistently delivers great food, great vibes, and exceptional service--but Madres Brunch does it effortlessly. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I saw this new spot had opened where Happy Crab Hot Pot used to be, and after checking out their Instagram with all the delicious looking food pics, I decided to give it a try. The inside is definitely Instagram-friendly with artsy painted walls, neon pink signs, and green leafy backdrops. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. I ordered the birria omelette with a side of beans, and my partner tried their new steak, jalapeño, and cheese croissant sandwich which came with some fried potatoes. For drinks, I went with the strawberry horchata and an iced latte. The presentation was on point, but the flavors didn't quite live up to the look. My birria omelette was pretty bland that I had to add extra salt and pepper just to make it enjoyable. The beans were just okay. The croissant sandwich was good overall but the steak could have been a little more tender and flavorful and barely had any fried potatoes. Drinks were solid, both the strawberry horchata and the latte were tasty. One thing to note: almost everything on the menu is $19 and up. For the portion sizes and the flavors, I don't think it's worth the price. Overall, not a terrible experience, but I left feeling underwhelmed. I don't think I'll be coming back.

Madres Brunch is such a gem! My friend and I came here for brunch and we were both so impressed. We each got lattes. I got mine hot, hers iced and they were both delicious and made perfectly. I ordered the birria omelette, and wow... so flavorful! The meat was tender and cooked just right, packed with flavor in every bite. On top of the amazing food and drinks, the vibe here is adorable, bright, welcoming, and perfect for a girls' day out. Definitely one of those spots that makes you want to linger, sip your coffee, and catch up with friends. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back!

I ordered the huevos rancheros and really liked how crispy the tortilla was. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. My son got the pancakes, which were soft and tasty. The baked potato threw me off a bit, but everything else was very good. The servers were on top of it, attentive, friendly, and quick. I wish I remembered our server's name because he had a great attitude and provided excellent service. I was surprised with how fast our food came out, considering it was a Sunday morning and we had a party of six. read more

Dang. This place is bomb.com. You're an idiot if you don't eat here. Let's start with the ambiance, that thing that restaurants rarely, if ever, have. It is fabulous. Sure they play jazz that is just slow and mellow, but here it makes sense, and it puts in such a chill mood. The decor is beautiful and wonderful. Shout out to @RESOE_27. I wanted to give this location a chance because my experience at the Riverside location wasn't great, and I thought the Corona location, being in a nicer area, might be better. The restaurant looked clean and inviting from the outside, which gave me hope. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill. I was served a dirty cup that still had Tajín residue in it, which ended up floating in my plain OJ. My husband's Eggs Benedict arrived with a small blue piece of something in it that looked like it could have been from a sponge. We weren't sure what it was, but it definitely shouldn't have been in the food. Service was also disappointing. When my husband accidentally spilled his coffee, a waiter noticed but walked by twice without offering any assistance while we had to go to the counter ourselves to get napkins. Just like at the Riverside location, the food and coffee were served cold. The bacon on the Eggs Benedict was also undercooked for our taste--soft rather than crispy. After two disappointing experiences at different locations, we won't be returning. read more

I had the chilaquiles and a normal latte both were phenomenal! My dad had the chorizo Benedict off the monthly menu. Also the salsas were fresh and spicy. Service was good and attentive. Really enjoyed the relaxing vibes. Finally a place worth eating at in this location. Couldn't recommend it enough! read more

This restaurant has a interesting ambience and is a fusion style food as a real Latino. The food is missing the real texture and flavors of Mexico. It has Chilaquiles, which are not what you would typically have in a Mexican home kind of a white version of Mexican food similar to Pollo Loco for chicken. I would highly recommend if you're coming here for the food find a different place but if you just want to hang out and have something different with no spiciness, this might work for you. read more

The restaurant was surprisingly not very crowded on a Sunday morning. The salmon was fresh and yummy, and the presentation of the avocado filled bowla was cute! I needed to add a little hot sauce, but overall I was satisfied. The waitress Vanessa was also great with recommendations and we had fast service. Fist time here, very loud, music and patrons, acoustics need to be addressed, friendly staff but the utensils were given in a bunch we had to separate and pick our own, your drinks will be gone before your meal arrives good tactic to drink more I guess, food feels and tastes right out of the can the chilaquiles are just cheap chips, the sauce also out of a can, I had high hopes but we will not be coming back, Dennis across the street would of been better. They overcrowd the place and their customer service suffers because of that too. read more

Very nice and clean place. We originally ordered the coffee flight but changed our minds after we were told they have monthly special which was the Biscoff Iced Coffee. Very good, not too sweet. Classic benedict was good but I didn't care for the sauce they put on it. Would not order the birrea benedict again, it was way too salty. Came for brunch today and had a fantastic time!! Service was quick and friendly. Leslie was a wonderful server and made sure we were well taken care of. We both had the hot pistachio latte which was really balanced, not too sweet. The chilaquiles were SOOOO good!! The green sauce was delicious and the Birria!!! Omg! So tender and flavorful. Definitely recommend for brunch. My only warning is that it is a bit loud like a cafeteria so just be aware of that but come for a bomb meal and mimosas are a must! read more

Had Sunday brunch with some coworkers and decided to try this place out since I'm always seeing that they are packed. I got there around 10:30 am and there was a line of people waiting outside already. I put my name on the list for 6 and it took about 40 minutes to get seated. There is inside and outside seating. The inside is pretty noisy with music playing and TVs going on. The waiter was very friendly and patient with us. They do not have fountain drinks, so if you want a soda, it comes in a can, and they charge you $4! Noted for next time. The menu can be overwhelming. All the food coming out looked amazing! I ordered chilaquiles verde with steak and an over medium egg which was so delicious! Everyone else said that their food and drink was good. Overall experience was great and I will definitely go back to try their waffles and pancakes. I would highly recommend checking them out if you haven't yet. read more

I wish I would've gone to Denny's across the street instead, and here's why: I ordered the Cafe de Olla and it tasted watered down and didn't taste at all like an authentic drink. Perhaps they use a premade mix and mix it with hot water? For $7 this is unacceptable. The mole chilaquiles were okay, but needed salt unfortunately. The restaurant is more for aesthetic but not for cuisine. You can tell they have cut corners. For example, there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. Perhaps consider getting a fly trap for your double doors instead of your side door that no one uses. read more

Chef is a loose word to use for whomever is cooking in the back. The steak while they redid to correct, was less than stellar. Medium rare came out first time beyond well done. Wilma pancakes were terrible. Pancake batter tasteless which was disappointing. Chilaquiles were salty. Birria was meh and overpriced for the portion size/cost. Ambiance is loud. If you aren't coming for the mimosa flights you may want to reconsider. read more

I wanted to like this place but...it was overly priced for mediocre food and service. The food presented well, but the scrambled eggs were dry (even though I asked to keep them on the runny side) and food was barely warm. The service was ok, he seemed annoyed when we asked for condiments and napkins. Our food was brought to the table, but no utensils to eat it. When we got them 1 set was dirty. After being made aware the cold food was (and barely eaten) he didn't even offer to take them off the bill. Needless to say I will not return here, especially for the price. read more

This review is from the perspective of someone who eats plant-based/vegan. This restaurant doesn't know the meaning of Vegan food. For example, under their "Vegan Menu," they list waffles with chocolate ice cream and chocolate syrup (!), and "Just Egg" (which is Vegan) with chorizo (decidedly not Vegan)! So I wanted to get their Popeye omelette with the spinach and mushrooms, but made with "Just Egg" and no cheese. That is, an actually vegan omelette! The server checked, and said that they were able to do this, but it would cost me $7 extra! I was with a bunch of people and didn't want to make a scene, plus I really wanted veggies in my omelette (which doesn't seem like too much to ask), so I went ahead and paid the surcharge. However, I don't think it was fair of the restaurant to charge me $7 extra just to get an actual vegan omelette ... especially when the omelettes they advertised as vegan on their menu were not! Even though my omelette tasted good, because it ended up being SO expensive, I will not be back. read more

Walked in on Sunday, May 31 at about 11:25am, the host greeted me was very nice cleaned off a table for me walked over sat down. Give me a menu and that was the last interaction I had for approximately 15 minutes. No one came over to say hey, I'll be right with you no acknowledgment so I got up and left. I searched for a cute a brunch spot in Corona to meet my out of town friend, and we found it! We immediately commented on the beautiful decor and girlie, Instagram-worthy ambiance. The wall murals were so pretty. Vanessa was our waitress and she was really friendly and made great food recommendations. We had the seasonal Esquite Chilaquiles and added Birria because Vanessa recommended it, and the Birria was top notch! The savory meat was a great complement to the meal. Vanessa also accommodated our request for a hot latte flight when we only saw an iced flight online, and we loved the flavors - pistachio, Mazapan & abuelita. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.

I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I felt disappointed enough to share my experience this time. I've been to Madre's Brunch in Corona several times before, and the food has always been very good. In the past, the service was also great, which is why this visit was so surprising. I went on Thursday with my partner and a friend, and unfortunately the service from our waitress was not good. The restaurant was not very busy, and I noticed another employee was making drinks, helping customers, seating people, and running food, while our waitress seemed to have an attitude and was not very attentive. One of the biggest issues was communication. I had a hard time being understood in English, which caused confusion with our order, and I ended up getting the wrong food. I have nothing against anyone who is still learning English, but in a customer service position, especially in a restaurant where communication is important, there should be enough English to understand customers clearly or support available to avoid mistakes. The food itself was still good, which is why this review is disappointing for me to write. My experiences here before with friends and coworkers were completely different and much better. The service was poor, and for the prices, the food absolutely did not deliver. The place is hot and everyone was sweating. Checked out this new brunch spot in my city and fell in love! I love trying out new restaurants and this is my new favorite, I will definitely be coming back. Not only for the food but for the exceptional service. My server was Jonathan and I can't say enough good things about him. He is very knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant and is genuine. He made my experience so much better by always checking in and making sure everything was to my liking. You can tell his authenticity goes beyond his job. I had an amazing experience at Madres Brunch! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor -- definitely worth the visit. What really stood out, though, was the excellent customer service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Came today to celebrate my cousin's birthday and I can't rave enough about the service. Abraham was amazing he constantly checked in to see if we needed refills or wanted to order anything else. The food was delicious, and our entire order came out together in about 10 minutes, which was impressive. The lattes were also delicious! It was absolutely worth the drive out to Corona. Thank you, Abraham, for such great service! He even surprised my cousin with a birthday waffle without us asking, which made the experience even more special. read more

We came to Madres Brunch in Corona for a birthday celebration and had such a great experience! Our server, Leslie, along with Steve, were both so attentive and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make everything feel special. From the start, they were friendly, cordial, and full of enthusiasm, which really made the celebration memorable. I visited the Corona location today, and the food quality was extremely disappointing. I ordered chilaquiles verdes everything tasted old and poorly prepared. I brought it to the manager's attention, but he acted like he didn't care at all. No apology, no effort to make things right. The service overall was just as bad -- slow, unprofessional, and unbothered. Definitely not worth the money. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values decent food or good customer service. read more

When we first walked in, though, the sign was still far away, so I also brought the menu up on my phone. I was glad there was a vegetarian Garden Crepe option and the cashier was accommodating when I asked for even more ingredients to be removed. It was packed inside, so when we were asked we told her we'd prefer to sit outside. Outside, there are small wooden signs with numbers on them and you go to the one you're assigned to. We were sat next to a tree which was appreciated because we got some shade. There's also a table with condiments if you want to grab a bottle of ketchup or anything else you might want. At the time I remembered thinking what a nice day it was to be sitting outside, but later learned the air quality was actually bad that day since there was a fire we didn't know about. Also, summers in general have bad air quality because the heat traps the pollution. Then again, even if we chose to sit inside, the door was open for people to line up, so we couldn't have escaped the bad air either way. Also, Scramblers is on the corner of a busy intersection and I saw one car cutoff another car at the turn and the other driver honk and yell at the other driver, so not exactly the most peaceful place to sit down and eat. Anyway, the food tasted good and I ate everything in one sitting. After being to this plaza a few times now, I've learned that it's best to take whatever parking spot you can get even if it's far from the place you're going to. Scramblers is especially difficult to get to, so it was a bit of a walk to and from our car. I've said it before in other reviews, but I curse whoever planned the layout of this plaza, like what were they thinking? Still, there are enough places for us to want to try out to keep coming back.
