I saw this place a while back on a IG post and wanted to try it out and just so happened to be in the area. A friend and I came together right when it opened on a Thursday afternoon. It was dead inside but we walked in with one other couple. Kevin, our server, was super nice and helpful with choosing items on the menu. The menu is small and straightforward. My friend and I were not super hungry so we opted to order a flight of margaritas, one savory item and one sweet item. We ordered the Pastor omelette and the Strawberry French toast. The omelette was absolutely delicious! I just wish there were more beans and chips. Portion size for the omelette was decent. But most of their items were a shareable. The French toast was also super yummy and cooked perfectly. I'm not a sweets person so I couldn't eat much of it but it was definitely good. The French toast was huge! You need like 2-4 people to eat it depending on how hungry you are. Now for the bad part. I'm not sure if it was because it was a Thursday, but the margarita flights were a bust. I was hoping for authentic fresh made mixes, but that was not the case. The margaritas tasted like cheap alcohol and mixers tasted like chemicals. The restaurant does alot of marketing and it looked interesting when it opened a while back and I got to finally try it out. It was noon on a Tuesday and so empty that I thought it was closed. Only one table was being served and no worker present to greet you for a few minutes. The building is quite large so from a customers perspective I liked how quiet it was, but it's not good for business. Servers were friendly but unfortunately the food wasn't good for the money spent. After tax and tip it was about $60 with no beverages. We ordered their strawberry pancakes that they frequently market on media, and chilaquiles with steak. The pancakes weren't anything special. I think they premade the pancakes because it tasted like it was made hours ago and kept warm and lost its chewiness. Also you will be eating an absolute ton of red coloring. The strawberry sauce wasn't fruit but a lot of artificial flavoring and sugar, and the fresh cut fruit was extremely small in portion and they don't cut them well and they even use the small ends. The colorful sugar bits also didn't add anything to the taste but sugar. It also didn't help that the pancakes were bitter from being burnt. The chilaquiles wasn't any better. The chips were much too soggy probably become they premade their food. Plus the $7 steak adder tasted awful, and was absolutely reheated leftovers. Instead of remaking the dish they just gave us some more steak, and it didn't taste any better. It was juicier but it wasn't event salted, and the quality of meat was not good... it had a strange taste that was both low grade, tough, and old... possibly near expired... sort of like meat that you would buy at a crappy market that sells near expired food at a discount. Extremely disappointing... but it could explain how there's high volume reviews here yet not much business. The food won't be as fresh if they don't have enough customers and food isn't made to order. The location isn't good under a freeway and next to the railroad, but I don't think that is the problem because people always come for good food. Unfortunately it was pretty terrible. We walked away shaking our heads from wasting money and calories. read more

GUYS!! This place is the place to go for brunch. I was nervous that it would be crazy packed on a Sunday (they serve brunch) but we got a table instantly. My grandpa eats a vegan diet, and they had a menu just for him! He lived his Chile Relleno omelette. My bf and I saw the plates weee HUGE, so we shared a chilaquiles Rojas with Birria, and we couldn't finish the plate. I also recommend the mazapan latte, it was 10/10. The flavors were jam packed, energy was great and service impeccable. Each server made time to chat and were generally very nice. Shout out to Ana! I tried this new location out the other day with a friend, I honestly didn't even know it existed. Since we went in a Thursday early afternoon it wasn't that busy! I really wanted something light hence why I choose the GOLDEN BOWL. The presentation was cute I like how the avocado skin was used in the dish but that's just me lol The mimosa flight was bomb , I liked the different flavors, but I will say the sugar rim is alittle over bearing. We had heard a lot of buzz about this local brunch place so we finally tried it. The parking lot was pretty full, but luckily the wait to be seated was only a few minutes. Our server Dee was great and had many suggestions since it was our first time there. While looking over the menu, it was fun to look around the restaurant to see various dishes being delivered to tables, especially some of the pancake dishes with toppings being poured over them at the table. The restaurant was pretty full but not overly noisy at all. The Chilaquiles Rojos plate was a very tasty version of chilaquiles and the presentation looked like a work of art. The American breakfast omelette was a good standard omelette for one of us that was just looking for a traditional breakfast. I personally decided to go off the beaten path and try something you don't see often and tried the Los Cubanos plate. I love Cuban sandwiches and this was a real nice version of something similar for breakfast. We ordered the El Churro french toast to split between us as a breakfasty desert since none of our main breakfast entrees were on the sweet side. It should satisfy anybodies sweet tooth and we could barely eat half of it between three of us. Note that if you are having french toast or if your breakfast comes with a side of toast, the toast is THICK (probably around 1.5 inches) and very filling. We are looking forward to returning and trying some of the other dishes along with some mimosas. read more

The food is good, the ambience is why you come, and the drinks are why you stay! We came during opening to celebrate my birthday, it's very vibrant and colorful. We loved the music they were playing, but the food came out semi slow and the waiter didn't come around often despite us being the only ones in there at the time, but it's worth the wait for my friends. Although sadly my iconic pistachio waffles were pretty burnt so I didn't get to experience the food in all of its glory, it was still an experience to eat. No drinks this time, we all had to drive. YES! I had brunch here with my parents a couple Saturdays ago, we arrived right before noon and only had to wait about 15 minutes. This place is cute, very bright pink, lots of fun signs, and they were playing upbeat 80's dance music. Our server was over right away to explain all their drink flights and the specials on their QR code menu. He gave us a few minutes, then came back quickly to take our orders. Our drinks were out right away; my husband had a hazelnut cold brew and it was great! I had hot hibiscus tea (sore throat, it helped!) my stepmom had a latte that she loved, and I think dad stuck with his usual diet coke. If I had been feeling better I definitely would have tried one of their flights, all their drinks look so fun and tasty! The food took quite awhile to come out, our waiter kept coming by to apologize, saying the kitchen was slammed. We were in no hurry, just having fun catching up with each other, so there was no issue. He continued to check on us and bring us additional drinks as we waited. We ended up being served about 40 minutes after we ordered and it was definitely worth the wait! Stepmom and I both had chilaquiles, mine verde, hers rojas. Hers was SPICY! Mine was amazing, LOVED that verde sauce. I also added birria to it, which was good, but pretty dry, almost like it never made it to the consome. Not sure I would add that again. Portion was massive and we both took over half home! Dad had an al pastor omellete, he didn't leave one ounce of evidence that there was ever food on his plate. My husband had their breakfast sandwich with bacon, which was also gigantic, and he brought half home. I'm super happy Madres is so close to home. The location they are in has been at least 4 other restaurants in the 10 years I have lived near it, none of them have been that great. I hope they stick around for years to come! read more

We ordered the Halloween/ fall special latte flight and it was delicious, they are severed in an 8 oz glass and it four different lattes, and this just so happen to be different types of pumpkin flavors. We also ordered the mimosa flight; I think it was 4 different flavors. I'm a social drinker, so I felt like these were prefect for us. We were not drunk, but we were feeling the champagne. I ordered the Florentine Omelet and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The English muffin did taste a stale but everything else was good. My influencer friend ordered the Pork Belly Chilaquiles, and she was in love with the flavors. The sever was great, he was informative regarding the menu and the portion sizes. I've seen Madres Brunch pop up on Instagram frequently, and I finally had the chance to visit with my girlfriends last Sunday. This place is very "Instagram pretty," and I'd like to note that we didn't have any alcoholic drinks during our visit. It was raining the day we went, but we managed to beat the crowd as there was only a short wait to be seated. We arrived around 11:15 AM, and by the time we left, the inside waiting area was packed with some overflow onto the patio area outside, which was around 1:00 PM. They offer a good variety of menu items, including light bites and vegan options. However, it's worth noting that they don't have a kid's menu. For kids, they recommended the 2-egg combo. They have a QR code on their menu that showcases their monthly specials for cocktails, mimosas, coffee, and menu items. These specials change each month, so it's worth checking out what's new. I tried their hazelnut latte, and my friend opted for an iced coffee. The coffee was good, and I regret not trying their coffee flight, which includes three smaller-sized coffees, available in both iced and hot options. All of us ordered chilaquiles, but each had a different kind. One friend ordered the special chilaquiles for the month with pork belly and added an egg. Another friend ordered the green chilaquiles with chicken, which comes with one egg, and they charge for an additional egg. I also ordered the green chilaquiles with an extra egg and no other protein. Other places usually provide two eggs with your order and charge you for additional meat like chicken or steak. Our little guy had the two-egg combo, which included two eggs, a choice of sausage or bacon, and some fruit. The fruit selection was excellent: blackberries, strawberries, and green apple slices. Our orders took a while to arrive, probably because they were busy with Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, all of our plates were cold. The chilaquiles presentation resembling little cakes, served over beans and crema, but they were pretty cold. The inside was slightly warmer, but not much. My friends also agreed that the food was cold and lacked some flavor. The green salsa wasn't great and my friend who added chicken was disappointed with the amount and expected more for a $7 upcharge. My other friend found the pork belly a bit too crispy for her liking, although they were spicy as described on the menu. I'd like to note that the chilaquiles plates are a generous serving, easily shareable with a friend. Our little guy seemed to enjoy his two-egg combo. Before coming here, I received feedback from my husband, who grabbed a breakfast burrito to go during his lunch break. He mentioned it was too bland and lacked flavor. He likes his salsa spicy, and noted no spiciness at all. I'm sad to report that this was a one-try spot for me. read more

Our dishes came out pretty quickly, the art all over the walls is great- the music was honestly the cherry on top everyone was vibing eating their food having their drinks enjoying the morning. Once you get inside though, it has a welcoming and fun atmosphere with cool artwork/murals painted on the walls. As much as I loved the aesthetic and vibe, the food left much to be desired. The drinks (pistachio latte/ horchata latte) had a good flavor, but on the sweeter end (too much so, and that's coming from someone who likes sugary drinks). The chile relleno omelet was pretty good, but wasn't too memorable. The side of beans was pretty runny and flavorless. The madres chilaquiles, which I was the most excited about and which came recommended by the waiter, was very underwhelming. It was barely lukewarm and tasted bland and dry. It definitely needed a lot more sauce. The chips were mainly soggy and just lacking flavor. Overall, most of the dishes costs about $20, and unfortunately the taste and flavors of what we tried did not justify how much we spent ($60+ for 2 people). We were here on a Tuesday and it was pretty chill and soon parties started showing up and the a huge party in another room was setting up about 15 plus folks. We already ordered so I can't speak on them not being able to take care of them and the other smaller parties. I ordered their Los cubanos which were fried pork chops with fried cheese on them and half a baked potato and that combo doesn't make sense but it tasted like it did LOL. A long with that, also was served with scramble eggs and Texas toast! Servings were huge but everything tasted so fresh. Pork chops weren't overcooked. I'd get that again easily. We shared a plain waffle because the decorative ones looked WAY toooooo heavy and I just like a simple buttered basic bitch waffle. They were good. Makes me want to try the heavy duty ones on another date. Scotty had the special which was a carnitas omelette. It was LOADED with meat, fresh , sauced very well. The sauce and red onions gave every bite a burst of flavor. Very satisfying meal. Wish they had later hours. I didn't get trapped by the Instagram food porn. We went for a late breakfast on Sunday. The place was popping, but we were told only a 20-minute wait. People after us were given a 45 to 50 minute wait. We had taken a look at the menu beforehand while waiting, so we knew what we were going to order. We had our drinks and food order within 10 minutes of being seated, but the one-star dock is the time to bring our food out to us. We waited a good 40 minutes for the french toast to come out and another 10 to 15 minutes for the chilaquelles to come out. The latte flight had three items in it. We picked vanilla, dulce de leche, and hazelnut. Unfortunately, they brought it out but didn't really tell us what each item was. Would love to have a label or even mention what is what. Each item had its own taste, and all three were good. The churro french toast was great. The french toast was moist and delivered a perfect blend of cinnamon and sugar. The churros were done properly in that they are not under/over cooked and great flavor. The bite size was perfect to enjoy with the toast. The Rojos chilaquelles came out looking pretty but had an awesome taste profile. We would like to see another egg on top, but apart from that, the dish was huge. My husband and I shared it and were left in a major food coma. I'm glad we opted to share 2 dishes between the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 kid). We had high expectations coming in with a high rating and were left impressed. Server was attentive. Only complaint was the time it took to bring our food. Or else an amazing experience. read more
