My Tia and I visited this spot for brunch, and it was a great experience! The spot has pink everywhere which I love, but what I loved more was the food. The waffles were soooo bomb and buttery, and the chilaquiles were delicious. Everything was made fresh, and the service was great. We came here for brunch with another couple on Sunday afternoon. We got there around 11:30 AM, and it was about one hour and 15 minute wait. There is a waiting area outside in front of the restaurant. When we came in, the space is very cute. It's a more intimate space than the location in Rancho, but it was lively with the decor. We were able to bring our dog, they were very flexible to let him sit under the table. My partner got the Chilaquiles and I got the eggs Benedict. My food was amazing just like the other location. I think it was also reasonably price for brunch. They also had a variety of fun mimosas. We did not get any, but they definitely looked great on the carrier and they came in so many cute colors. The food was barely okay, but very expensive for what it was. We wanted the chorizo Benedict but with soyrizo instead because we don't eat pork. The server let us know she couldn't do that because soy was more expensive than pork (??) but that she could take off the pork and charge us $9 for a side of soyrizo... A whole tube of soyrizo is literally $1.50 and soy has never been more expensive than porbut ok.. Then when my plate of chilaquiles came out, the beans were cold as if they had been sitting out for a long time. (Not even warm, they were almost as cold as the cream). I would have sent it back but the server wasn't around and the wait was already insanely long to begin with so I just ate it. Server also didn't come by once during our wait or while we ate. We only talked to her once to order, once when she brought our food and we even had to flag her down to pay. She didn't refill our coffee or even our lukewarm warm water that had no ice Before leaving, I went to the bathroom but both stalls were out of liners and toilet paper too. Food was more 3 star for us. we ordered the madres chilaquiles, birria benedict, and ensenada. the esenada was probably the best out of all of them. if you're getting the madres please add eggs on these. for dessert we ordered the on fire waffles. the fire effect is just for ambience. I dont suggest getting it lit with fire as it burns part of the waffle and the nuts on the side creating a bitter taste. The waffle needed to be thinner i think. we also ordered a coffee flight, which is very mediocre. The only coffee on there i like was the mazarpan. i think it is kind of overpriced.
