Had a wonderful experience tonight with my waitress and she was very attentive and hands on. The night worsened when a dark haired male waiter with some of his head shave from both sides of his head came to cash me and my friend out and he came back in a huff and attitude when the card reader didn't work. I asked him to explain what happened and he said "I wasn't talking to you." I told him I understand but I said you were previously explaining that the card reader didn't work so I wanted to learn more about it as I wanted to pay for my meal. The card reader finally worked. And then the female waitress I had the entire night came over and I explained what happened. She apologized and offered to call the manager. I told her I didn't care to make a scene. She assured me I wouldn't be making a scene. I told her I'd rather just leave as this same male waiter with the attitude about the card reader started to walk back over. I left and won't be back to this location. Later that night I called the manager who was apologetic and explained that this same male waiter (with the sides of his head shaved) had similar issues with other patrons earlier in the night with regards to his attitude. Manager explained she sent this waiter home prior to my phone call with her and was taking disciplinary actions against him. She said that she intended to pull him from being at the bar for the foreseeable future. read more

My partner and I stopped here for a late lunch during a road trip, drawn in by the unique airplane-themed ambiance and the fact that we don't have this restaurant back home. I ordered the California turkey burger with a pretzel bun (the only dairy-free bun option available), vegan cheese, and herb aioli, which I told them I can eat because it is made with eggs and not milk or cheese. When my sandwich arrived, it came with regular mayo instead of the aioli. The waiter kindly offered honey mustard as a replacement. However, after the first bite, I realized something was seriously wrong -- the sandwich was cold. Upon closer inspection, I discovered I'd been given the completely wrong order. The server, to his credit, was very nice and quickly took it back to the kitchen to be fixed. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated his quick response. But when the correct order finally arrived, it was still a disappointment. There was no aioli (again), the burger was bland, and the whole thing was soggy. Additionally, I was upcharged for the pretzel bun, even though it was the only option available, and I was not told about the extra charge when I ordered. To make matters worse, despite the kitchen's mistake with the wrong sandwich, there was no adjustment made to the bill to acknowledge the error. The prices were a little high for what I got. A piece of lettuce, some tomatoes and onions and a flat burger was not worth $19 plus an additional $2 for the bun. My partner's mac and cheese wasn't any better -- it was bland, and the pasta was crunchy. Considering we were there at 2 p.m. during a slow time, it's hard to excuse the poor quality of the food. My partner also ordered dessert. When he asked for the dessert menu, he was not told that the majority of the baked goods were out of stock. After ordering, the server came back and said only two out of the five were available. The servers should be made aware when certain items are no longer available. The only thing this place has going for it is the gimmicky glow-in-the-dark drinks, but I still wouldn't return. The food was just gross. (And for the record, we still tipped the waiter. We are so happy we came here for lunch on a rainy Sunday! My mom, my brother and I were so full when we left! The food was incredible! We were blown away by the amount of menu options! This is not a place for the indecisive lol the waiter we had was very friendly and let us take our time in deciding. We got the buffalo chicken dip to share and it came hot with warm chips (2 kids actually- tortilla and kettle chips) it was delicious! I could have made a meal on that alone. For our meals we got the Tex-mex bowl, Mac n cheese bites and a grilled chicken w/ avocado wrap! My wrap was phenomenal! I opted for the sweet potato fries as a side (out of like 10 or more options for sides lol) We all absolutely loved our meals! Everything was so fresh, perfectly presented, generously portioned and delicious! They are accommodating to gluten allergies, embraced substitutions (cheddar instead of Swiss) and the prices really weren't overly expensive for the amount of food you get! As for the restaurant itself everything was clean, open concept and I loved the aviation theme! The bathrooms were a little too dark but were very nice. We tried Maggie McFly's for the first time on our date night for dinner and a movie. We really liked the food and will be back. The restaurant had an aesthetically nice atmosphere. however, the service was lackluster we were set in an empty section all to ourselves, which was cool "date night" but then another couple was sat right next to us and then nobody else... So, the whole empty dining room and just weirdly us and them. Why so close, Just why??? Food was great I would have given 5 stars if the service was there, and if they would have thought about the seating. read more

The food is okay, basic chain style frozen, premade items. But nothing is over the top because they don't "specialize" in any one or even just a few items. The food was very good and the beer selection is excellent. So what prevents me from giving Maggie McFly's five stars? Let's start with what's positive. There are more than 60 beers on draft, many of them local craft brews. We started with pints of Keegan's Mother's Milk and Springdale Brigadeiro nitro ($7 each). We both thought the Springdale was so much more creamy and flavorful than our beloved Mother's Milk that we wondered if we really were served a Mother's Milk. The menu is huge and is likely to have something for everyone. We started with Buffalo Cauliflower ($9.99), battered and lightly fried florets are topped with a very good crumbled bleu cheese, and served over a bit of Buffalo sauce on the plate. The accompanying side of bleu cheese dressing however, tasted more like Ranch and did nothing to enhance the already very enjoyable, flavorful, and spicy florets and crumbles. My wife ordered a Kale and Quinoa Salad ($13.99) and added Scallops (additional ($9.99). The basic salad, in addition to the kale and quinoa, included broccolini, carrots, grapes, apples, cabbage, sunflower seeds, Brussels sprouts, golden raisins, house-made avocado dressing, and topped with Asiago cheese. The dressing was all on the bottom of the bowl, but she was still enjoying it even before she found the dressing. The approximately three scallops were broken up on top of the salad to possibly appear like a greater portion. While the scallops were cooked to the proper doneness, they could have benefited from a greater sear in the pan to get that lovely golden brown and slightly crispy outer texture. My dinner choice was the Cajun Jambalaya ($17.99), a real winner and a House Specialty. Perfectly sautéed shrimp, juicy chicken, local Sindoni hot sausage, onions, tomatoes, peppers, and a spicy Cajun sauce all surrounding a pile of basmati rice. Such a very large serving, half of it came home and it was excellent even the next day. Here's a tip to keep in mind. If Maggie's is busy, don't choose to eat at the bar as we did. Rather than wait the estimated 15 -20 minutes for a table we opted to eat at the bar since we enjoy watching the action and typically have good service and conversation with bar staff at most restaurants. Everything started out fine, one bartender asked if we were planning on eating and then brought us menus. Another bartender too quickly followed up and asked if we had decided upon beverages - we had not, but requested water which was quickly served. Starting at this point it was now very difficult to get the attention of any bar staff. We managed to flag down the server who had initially inquired about our choice of beverage and placed our beer order. We could not seem to catch her again after that however. After sitting with menus closed in front of us for a good 20 minutes, I asked one of the bartenders who was almost constantly next to us filling drink orders submitted by wait-staff into the P.O.S. printer, who did we need to speak with to place an order. He said he could do that for us and did so. Our food was served in a reasonable period of time, but when the bartender who placed our food order noticed my beer glass was empty and asked if I wanted another beer, I said yes and told him what I wanted. He replied that he'd get someone to pour it - he never did. I also have it from a very reliable source (my wife) that the women's restroom is poorly designed. There are four stalls, but only two sinks. Hand dryers are built into the sink so lines form at the sinks. There are no hooks for women to hang their purse (btw, there are also no hooks under the bar). Our next visit will likely find us at a table where we are looking forward to trying a Mule Flight, a Mojito, pizza and wings. read more

We had to ask the waiter to serve us after like 20 minutes of sitting with no drinks or anything. The waiter looked confused and they had to go talk to the host who told them that we were one of their tables. There were only 2 other parties seated so it was odd that they got confused. The food was fine but nothing crazy. It tasted like food that was probably pre-made and frozen beforehand or something. They were very anxious to get our orders in, yet never refilled our water glasses, prompting us to ask several times. The food was about the quality of chili's or Applebee's. They try to local source their ingredients but fail at executing anything. The menu is massive which means they try to do too much and nothing gets done right. Our $16.99 dim sum appetizer seemed like it was right out of the frozen section with an awkward pair of chopsticks on top. Great, huge menu, excellent service, tons of space, great desserts and decent pricing. Food was presented and cooked well. I had a turkey club with sweet potato fries and we had truffle fries to start. The other person with me had ziti and meatballs. We scarfed up the truffle fries. Ketchup and condiments are served in little plastic cups. Would have been much better to have bottles provided, as the ketchup servings were skimpy. Maybe that's a COVID thing, not sure. Never again. I went to Maggie McFly's on Memorial Day. It was surprisingly empty when we walked in at about 12:30. In spite of the massive restaurant and several open tables, we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. At first we thought it was due to social distancing which would have been understandable, but I overheard two employees saying that a few other employees had called out. We got a spot at the bar which offered the full menu on a first-come-first-serve basis. The bar was open and airy and empty. It took our waitress/bartender, Brooke, nearly 15 minutes to notice us. When she finally acknowledged our existence to take our drink orders, we learned our first choice, the sangria flight, was unavailable. Next we put in an appetizer order. A French onion soup for me and a quinoa salad for my sister. Both took a while to come out but the soup was piping hot so I'm willing to accept that as a reason for a delay. It took nearly 20 minutes for Brooke to take our meal orders. All in all, we were seated for two and a half hours to have 3 or 4 interactions with Brooke. The food at Maggie McFly's is good, but it's not worth a two and a half hour block in my day, and certainly not when the restaurant was not even half full. A delay is understandable when the restaurant is packed - not so much when the bar was empty and the bartenders are chatting with other patrons or playing in their phones. read more

I would not recommend eating here. The service was slow, and there was hardly anyone there. It was a weekend afternoon. The price was way too high for the quality of food we received. The ranch dressing seemed really sour, smelled spoiled, and had an overpowering garlic aftertaste. I tried a little on one of the wings, and it was gross. We ordered wings (10), meatball sliders, and a chicken sandwich. We got nonalcoholic beverages. It was almost $80 for the two of us. The wings were pretty good if you ate them without the ranch. Thought I try a new place I haven't been to but in person heard good things about but was a tad skeptical because of the Yelp reviews. For most I would like to mention first my server did a great job but I completely forgot his name. The wait to be seated was non existent. We started with appetizers coconut shrimp and trio(wings,hot artichoke, chicken wraps). Now the coconut shrimp were so amazing and the artichoke. I'm a pescatarian so I didn't try the others my family did say they also were so good. My drink was a mango ice tea... for some reason it didn't come with ice but was cold. However the drink was not great or good. I'm guessing I should've asked for water instead. Now for the entree I ordered a veggie wrap and it came with a mini salad. Now the salad was super good and flavorful but the veggie wrap was not great at all it had no flavor. I tried adding guacamole to it to see if this would fix it but nope it was gross I don't even finish it. I'm actually going to go again and have the coconut shrimp as my entree next time it's definitely worth going back. Prices are also decent. read more

We were charging the car for a long drive and needed food and coffee. It opens at 11. So nice! Almost empty and with a chain restaurant look, but a good one, we were greeted and seated. Asked to be away from the music from speakers. That was no problem. Nice table, Laverne was our server. Big guy - tall. Great service. I had the Waldorf chicken salad sandwich which was excellent. My partner in crime had a salad in a big taco shell shaped like a bowl and fried. Also excellent. I don't usually to to this kind of place. I like a hole in the wall but the food was great. I'm not sure why they call them street, I guess boring ass gringo version of real food was too long. These tacos had zero taste and would have tasted better had they been dropped on the street and picked up in the 5 second rule. It comes with salsa that also had zero heat or real taste, guacamole also tasteless, and sour cream. I'm just baffled how people in this town can cook and zap the flavor right out of things. Fantastic menu & service with very attentive servers . The restaurant is very big with a full bar inside . They have unique drinks with a full bar menu ,so take your time and find your favorite. The menu has so many different options that it is hard to pick just one . It was rainy today or I would of loved to eat outdoors with its many umbrella tables and a nice fire place type box in the center of it all. Drinks .... my girl and I chose "Flights" you must ask for them on the menu. I had the Margaritas which had Hibiscus, Spicy Jalapeño, Rose and Coconut. My favorite was the coconut . Sangrias were the other with Red,, White and Rose & a cup of fruit to add your own garnishes to . Appetizer...... we ordered the tower of onion rings thinking it would be on a pedestal as usual , but got a lil bummed when it was just in a big bowl with two sides to dip in Cheese & maple bbq. My husband and I are on vacation traveling to Salem Massachusetts. We decided to only eat at places we've never been before and to my knowledge there are none in Ohio. The menu is amazing!!! If you can't find something you like then you're too picky. Great drink selection asx well. My husband started with an Yuengling draft and I had a spiked coffee. The server was very forthcoming in her recommendations and although I didn't select any she did rave about the entire specialty menu. The cauliflower crust Hawaiian pizza was so good!!! Very tasty sauce and light crisp crust!!! My husband had a boring ole cheeseburger but he enjoyed it! Definitely wish we'd of left room for dessert, the cupcakes looked delicious read more

This was my first time here and while the place is nice, my experience was below average. When we arrived we were quickly seated. We were a party of 3 on a Friday night. I am giving two stars because parts of the experience had potential and others failed horribly. We order 2 soft drinks and one margarita. The margarita took what seems forever to be served. The waiter apologized and said that my drink was given to another table. The drink finally came after we got the appetizers and after one sip I tasted the bitterness from the bad lime on the rim. The waiter took our order for appetizers and dinner quickly. Appetizers: fried Mac and cheese and fried fresh mozzarella cheese. The fried Mac and cheese came in a vodka sauce and it tasted good. The fried mozzarella cheese were three triangles and they look like they were fried for a little too long. Entrees: 2 New England Clam Chowders, Penne with meatballs, shrimp and scallop in vodka sauce and Garlic Shrimp and vegetables risotto. Only one clam chowder was brought to the table and although the color was more like the color of French onion soup I tasted and it had a weird taste. We quickly cancelled the second soup and I did not eat any more. The Penne and Meatballs was probably the best of the three entrees. The shrimp and scallops were good and I was surprised that the scallops were cooked correctly. However, there was a massive amount of penne pasta and very little scallops or shrimp. My meal was the worst of the three The shrimp were cooked correctly and tasted good but the risotto is a big mistake in their part. It was a crime to all the good risotto in the world. Honestly it is my opinion that they should take it out from the menu. It had big chunks of red and green peppers that were uncooked. It also had corn and asparagus. The risotto also had this sour taste and I am assuming it was uncooked wine. It also had cheese and it was very cheesy. The service. The waiter took our order pretty quickly but since the margarita was taking forever I order a soft drink. The soft drink came towards the end of the meal. I don't think it was the waiter fault but he was busy. For the time we were there so many people arrive in his area back to back. I am including pictures of the entrees and soup but forgot to take pictures of the appetizers. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back and I hope I don't get food poisoning from tasting the weird looking and tasting soup. Not worth what I pay. read more

We ordered the BBQ brisket to share. It came out cold. It had so much sauce on it, we couldn't eat it...yuck. So much for a hot sit-down meal. Oh yes, speaking of sitting down. We were seated, and the server acknowledged us 12 minutes after seating. Then we waited on our menus, which she eventually handed to us. After another 12 minutes, she took our order. We had to get up and chase her down for everything. I wanted a nice relaxing meal after working all day.
