No gluten free pizza. So I ordered an omelet. But really wanted a pizza. Staff are kind.

Back at Maggie's with a few friends and was impressed yet again! I ordered the Cake Combo and was very pleased. The pancakes were not lacking in the taste department, but rather boasting a sweet-and-fluffy flavor I won't soon forget. Bacon and sausage were both pretty darn good, and the eggs were done how I requested. All that for less than $8, so certainly a good deal for a classic breakfast! I did not get to try the other two dishes, but my friends said they enjoyed their food too! Atmosphere was quiet and clean. Kind, fast service accompanied by all of the above sealed the deal for yet another 5-star Maggie's review.

A good, traditional family style restaurant. They have a full menu and serve breakfast all the time. The food was good/satisfactory. It's wasn't wowing or over the top good but your typical diner type. I was impressed with their wide variety of menu options (full range breakfast items, pizza from a pizza oven, etc. Prices were modest and in line with a smaller town, not like a fancy restaurant in Wayzata. The service was adequate/so-so. Part of that was we came during a busy time (Saturday morning). We were a group of ten, we called ahead for reservations and the table was waiting for us, so this was great and spot on. I'd have no issue coming back, knowing I'm going to have many food choices, satisfactory taste and service and the price to match.

A great place to eat with great people to know. everybody's a little crabby sometimes and you never know what they're going through but I can promise you... Everybody has a good heart and their own story. I've worked here for over four years now and I don't regret a minute of it. I continue to want to work here because of everyone I work with. truly the best people who do consistent work and make work feel like fun.

Sausage and mushroom scramble with added broccoli

Stopped into Maggie's for breakfast as it was visible from my hotel room. I love mom and pop diners and this place was a classic. Good food. Friendly patrons and staff. I ordered the sausage and mushroom scramble and added broccoli. Sausage had great flavor. I could've used some hot sauce but didn't spy any close by. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

By the time I made reservations there was only space for patio seating which which not as pretty actually had better lighting for photos it was pouring rain at times and I wondered how the patio roof would hold but it did really well just a few drops and the floor got wet so they helped us move our table over a bit Food and drink: I started off with the cocktail of the moment it was a mezcal drink with raspberry and made with Calabrian chilis came topped with a cute little pepper on tops. The chicken was great too!!

Be prepared if you go at dinner time parking will be busy and slightly hard to come by. If you find a spot, take it! We had a reservation, but I don't think we really needed one. We sat in the bar area. The decor was absolutely beautiful. I loved the vibe and being able to see the wood fire pizza oven. We ordered Burrata for the table and ended up needing an additional order of bread. The dip to bread ratio is always off. The burrata was more creamy rather than a ball of cheese. I really enjoyed the kumquat with it, but wish there were more of them. We also ordered crispy Brussels sprouts for the table. I love a Brussels sprouts. These were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I ordered the Mafaldini Cacio E Pepe. It really was pepper forward and I wasn't mad about it at all. I thought the serving size could have fed two people, especially if you are sharing other items. A couple things that I was not prepared for. This is a "dinner should take hours" type of establishment. We were picking at the appetizer and the server had to come over and ask if we were done and if she should put in the order for our entrees. Meanwhile we were still eating the appetizer because we thought we were waiting for the entrees. And then when it came time for the check and getting boxes for left overs they will take your food and box it up for you. I didn't realize this when I asked for the check and someone's food was taken as she was mid bite (oops). They also did one check for three people and never asked if we wanted to split the bill in any sort of way. They also only gave us one bag for our left overs, even though all of us had food to takeaway.

It isn't overly fancy and the prices are moderate, but it still feels like a special experience. I had the tortiglioni Rossa, which was clearly a fresh red sauce because it had chunks of tomato of various sizes in it. The pasta was properly cooked and not mushy. The sausage in it had good flavor and was ground relatively finely so it incorporated in every bite. My girlfriend had the mushroom chicken risotto, which she enjoyed. It was a little less of a traditional risotto because the rice wasn't as saucy, but she enjoyed the flavor and there was enough sauce on the chicken. Our service was really prompt and friendly and the food was delivered quickly and played well.

It was honestly one of the best salmon dishes I've had in a while. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and it came out perfectly cooked and very fast. It was pretty busy when we went, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Overall such a great spot and I would absolutely go back.

It's extremely noisy, and the tables are very close together. We had to listen to a little boy watching cartoons on his phone the entire evening, which was NOT what I was planning for our 25th anniversary dinner. Touching on our anniversary, I called and made a reservation 3 weeks prior and begged the host on the phone to put us in a quiet corner, not in the middle of the room. I had very special plans and was going to present my wife with a beautiful new diamond ring to replace the one she got 15 years ago on our 10th. When we arrived, we were placed at a very small table right smack in the middle of the room!!! I asked the host when she tried to seat us if she could please put us in the corner table, which was vacant, and was told no, this is the best table we can give you. I was NOT HAPPY!!! Completely ruined every plan I had. We worked through the table location and made the best of what we were given. The waiter was very polite and professional and took very good care of us. The food was delicious and despite the table location, it was an awesome evening. I will say this to anybody reading... do NOT go here if you're looking for a quiet romantic evening. It's not the place. Otherwise... 100% recommended!!!!

There is a reason 6Smith is busy. We made a reservation for the patio and even in 90 degree weather…read moreit was comfortable. They have big umbrellas, fans and the water to keep things cool. The most uncomfortable thing is finding a place to park. If you can't find a spot in the lot, tracking down a street spot that isn't only 1 hour can be a challenge or a bit of a walk. We started with cocktails and Bread is Life appetizer (5/5). Bread is indeed life. We needed two baguettes to eat the three butters/sauces. The whipped ricotta and honey was my favorite, but the chimichurri was a close second. For entrees we split the Beet and Watermelon King Salmon Salad (3/5), A Fat Burger (5/5), Chilled Lobster Roll (4/5), and the Spicy Lobster Mac and Cheese (5/5). The salad was good, but the salmon didn't have enough seasoning for me. It's also more of a traditional watermelon salad vs lettuce salad. The lobster roll was good, but of course mostly bread. It was a hardy sandwich and filled more than other restaurants. The burger was in fact fat, cheesy and juicy. The sandwiches come with hand cut fries (5/5) and an aioli. While the Mac and cheese says it's spicy, it's more of a Minnesota spice. It's a shareable portion, but no more than 3 people if they have other food. For dessert we ordered the Mud Moon Pie (4/5). When they say it's served with a knife they mean it. The portion size is huge! Like 6-12 people could eat on it. We ended up sharing with the table next to us. We were warned it was shareable, but I wish there would have been a smaller portion option to select. We felt so wasteful not being able to eat even half of it. We loved our server. We never felt rushed, our water glasses were never empty and she split the bill with our individual dishes and then split the shared items (I love when they do this vs giving us one bill). While the prices are a little high, the portion sizes and quality of food make it worth it.
