YOU GOT A MAGIC KEY?! This Is your breather-restaurant and they have some really good food. this place is the 2nd floor of the Italian restaurant downstairs. Across the way from San FranSokyo! All the cast members are always top notch!

I finally got to enjoy a afternoon snack at Magic Key Terrace while Disney's California Adventure was celebrating the Lunar New Year, which turned out to be a great experience overall! I was able to continue using my Magic Key on the last day as I chose not to renew it as I don't have any RunDisney races coming up in a couple of years because of the Disneyland Forward project. Getting a chance to try out the Magic Key Terrace felt like a treat and I had never eaten off the menu there before! We ordered some small plates to eat together as we would be looking at the Lunar New Year food stands as well. Our location was perfect! We had a spot that overlooked the pathway to the Pixar Pier. This let us watch the parade from the Magic Key Terrace! The first item we had was the Fonduta, a mixture of smoked mozzarella, fontina cheese, cream, roasted garlic, with crostini, roasted potatoes, and chorizo foccacia. It was very good. Next we tried the Arancini and that ended up being my favorite item of the meal. I thought the risotto balls were perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and cheesy center! Every bite was satisfying and paired well with the small bites we had ordered. The Butternut Squash was a unique flavor and scrumptious! The Heimlich Chew Chew Juice that I drank was a non-alcoholic beverage made from lemonade, Minute Maid, Granny Smith apple syrup, and fresh watermelon juice. The Heimlich Chew Chew Juice was nice and cold and really helped bring down the richness of the foods we were eating. Our dining experience at Magic Key Terrace was nice and enjoyable. The menu appetizers lends itself well to be eaten by sharing it around the table with others, so it would be a good way to go about trying new things on your trip to the park, and the outdoor seating area offers a nice place to relax while taking in the view of Disney California Adventure! I thought the arancini was my favorite dish that we ate, however everything we tried was delicious and I will keep it in mind for all my trips to Disney in California!

We tried the Magic Key Terrace connected to Wine Country Trattoria. It has special magic key offerings which is neat. We tried the roasted half chicken and clam pasta or Linguine alle Vongole. The linguine was al dente and delicious!!! I wish the clam were bigger but still good. As for the roasted chicken my friend said it was even juicier than the chicken at Plaza Inn which says a lot. The Heimlich Chew Chew drink comes with fresh watermelon and is tasty. Service was also excellent. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!!!

This is the spot that our friends put together for my fiancé's birthday. It's got a great view of Pixar pier, and the surrounding area. Since our friends had magic keys, they got us in as guest to try out appetizers and drinks. We shared the Focaccia with two house butters and the Fonduta with potatoes, Spanish chorizo, sourdough crostini, and a blended cream The service was good and the seating was comfortable. I really enjoyed the ambiance this place had. They surprised my fiancée with a cake in the shape of Mickey Mouse. I thought that was pretty cool. It was cute and tasted good.

Wonderful experience at this beautiful restaurant that overlooks Disney California Adventure. The food and drinks were delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their dishes. The linguine was cooked perfectly and came with a bright citrus sauce. Paired beautifully with the pinot grigio. I was in heaven. My friends got the gnocchi. It looks small in photos, but in person it was a huge fulfilling portion. My friends got the pork milanese. The outside was crunchy and the inside was juicy. The service was extremely attentive. The staff checked in on us very frequently during our meal and all were very polite. It was funny because one guy kept asking to clear our dishes multiple times but we weren't done eating yet. I appreciate that the table was ready at our reservation time. This is the only Disneyland restaurant we experienced this at. One more thing I appreciate is the fancy ambiance. One side overlooks the park while the other side has a huge beautiful painting with peacock and bougainvillea.

Seated promptly. Didn't get a table with a view though. Sat at a booth with two pull up chairs. Service was good. Got the world of color package. Mint julep. 7/10. Free refills was good. Salad. 3/10. Seemed like the baggage lettuce and the croutons were not fresh. Orchiette 5/10 was ok. Flavor was fine but it was barely warm. Had a cake for dessert so they gave us ice cream. Cake and ice cream were great. 8/10. Overall an ok meal.

I have to give them a 3 star rating based on their service! Disney has to do something to provide more staff!! Things moved extremely slow here at the Magic Key Terrace! The food was ok, but not that memorable! The drinks we had were good! The atmosphere was very nice overlooking DCA!

At Disneyland California Adventure. Managed to snag a reservation since it was on a weekday as it's usually booked out. Need an annual pass to be here and the vibes were very nice. A nice place to sit, talk, drink, and eat. Our server was very nice and really made sure things were good. He even provided with more bread to finish with our fonduta. Prices are pretty standard with everywhere else and food was alright overall!

To be honest, we weren't expecting much from magic key terrace. We just wanted to go once before our key expires to see what it's like. We were so pleasantly surprised! The weather was perfect for sitting at the balcony's edge. We got a nice breeze and view of the park. The food was great and larger portions than I expected! Very tasty! The cocktail was a little sweet and light on the alcohol but still tasty. I don't think I'll order cocktails again though. Our server was kind and didn't rush us so we could fully enjoy our time (we went at a non busy time). A great spot to stop by!

    World of Color dining

A few months after becoming Magic Key owners we finally decided to book a dinner at Magic Key Terrace with the World of Color dining package. It's a pretty sweet deal. You have to order from a pre-fixe menu (starting, entree, dessert, and non alcoholic bevvy) that costs $73 but you get preferred seating for World of Color which was definitely worth it this time of year as we got to see the new Lunar New Year pre-show! So cute! As for the dining experience, we loved the food but the service was a little meh. I got the Cesar and it was delicious, I'm honestly such a fan of all the salads here so far, but the waitress forgot to bring silverware so I was just sitting there until she came back to check on us. For my entree, I got the gnocchi alla vodka and it was delish! So creamy. It is a bit spicy so be warned. For dessert, they only have one option: the Spumoni cake. This was pretty solid! Very pretty with all of the layers. I'd definitely try this again, it's a nice spot to get off your feet for a while and enjoy a decent sit down meal.

Perfect place to grab a bite & drinks while away from the crowds. This is exclusive to Magic Key holders. Located next to / above the Wine Country Trattoria at DCA. Love the foccacia with house-made butters. For entrees we love the osso buco and the bucatini. They had flat breads on the menu before but my guess is the menu is switched every so often. This place is known for all their signature cocktails, wines, and beer. Lesson learned, must specify NON-ALCOHOLIC Mint Julep when ordering. Because I got 2 and it was so good I gulped it down so fast... world was spinning and looked like a tomato the rest of the night. It was the cocktail Mint Julep. Good food. Great service. Definitely a great place to hang & rest. And there's shade! Reservations highly recommended.

    Gnocchi and Bucatini Alle Vongole
    Airi G.

I had low expectations going here since Disney restaurant food is typically overpriced food with average taste. However, I'm happy to report the spicy vodka gnocchi alone was worth the visit. It was perfectly al dente and the sauce was creamy with a slight kick that coated every crevice of the pasta. The bucatini alle vongole was also cooked well but too lemon-forward in flavor. There was a decent amount of seafood though so I would say it was worth the price. Since the magic key discount applies, the meal was pretty affordable considering it was Disney and we left pretty full. The customer service was pretty good all throughout our meal. We didn't have a reservation when we arrived and we were seated within 10 minutes on a Saturday.

Magic Key Terrace is such a perfect spot to unwind and relax with a great meal--especially for Magic Key holders. My husband and I really enjoy coming here, and pretty much everything we've eaten so far, we've loved. The drinks can be hit or miss, but since it's a full bar, you can always ask for something off-menu or have them make a classic. That flexibility definitely helps. I also appreciate that the menu changes each season. It keeps things interesting and makes us want to come back a bit more. Overall, Magic Key Terrace is one of our favorite places to take a break and enjoy good food in a calm atmosphere. Highly recommend for fellow Magic Key holders!

There didn't seem to be a dress code but people were mostly dressed nice. The service was phenomenal. We were greeted by the owner himself and he made sure that we were seated and comfortable and helped us understand the menu and their wine selection. Our server was amazing as well. She was very attentive in taking our order. For food I ordered the crab cakes, the shishito peppers, and the Atlantic salmon with the chimichurri sauce on the side. I substituted the mashed potatoes for French fries because I don't eat dairy. Everything was delicious and a little different. For the shishito peppers usually these are served with a tangy sauce and the shishito peppers are blistered. With this dish the shishito peppers were still blistered but they were served on a sweet mustard sauce. For the salmon that was also delicious, served with vegetables. The French fries were great. The crab cakes were pretty good. Now if you're from Maryland you are not going to like these crab cakes, of course, because you're from crab cake capital, but for California crab cakes they were good. I would definitely come back here. I didn't get to try the wine but next time I will definitely try some of the wine and some additional food dishes.

My wife and I were looking last minute for an elevated but relaxed date night spot where we could try a couple quality dishes to satisfy our palette. We stumbled upon this restaurant in our Yelp search and quickly made a reservation on Resy when we saw the varied and refined menu. We were greeted and seated upon entering by the establishment's owner, Ernest, and I immediately knew this was going to be a special meal. It is rare and so appreciated to go into a place and feel the vision and passion from the time you walk in. Thank you, Ernest, for sharing your story and making us feel so welcome. California Vintage Wine Bistro has perfect low lighting, a thoughtful setup, and pleasant vibe-setting tunes playing in the background, creating a wonderful ambiance. We enjoyed a red Zinfandel from Argentina to drink--the wine list is very diverse and features selections from across the globe, including a wine tasting offering. For our meal, we ordered the Burrata and Baby Heirloom Tomato Salad, Steak Au Poivre, and Pan Fried Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. All of the dishes were excellent and featured high quality ingredients, but I would certainly order that steak again. The green peppercorn brandy sauce on it was absolutely excellent to go along with a well cooked, great piece of meat. We finished the meal with their house-baked chocolate cookies, which were dangerously buttery and delicious. We are so looking forward to coming back for live music on 1st and 3rd Saturdays--hope to be there again soon!

To our surprise, we were so thrilled to see Colony Wine Merchant had a good sized menu with various options to choose from: small bites, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We weren't too hungry so we opted for the daily sandwich of the day and their seasonal soup offering. Every bite from both items was enjoyed so much. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+. Every interaction from when we first walked in the door, being seated, being provided food recommendations, was a great experience. The ambiance is perfectly casual with a slight elevatedness to it. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress or tux to come here but it's definitely a perfect date night place or to come with friends and loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal followed by great wine.
