Perfect Ambiance, excellent service, and outstanding food! So fresh and flavorful. 100% will return time and again!

My family came here for dinner and really enjoyed it. We started with the pork belly buns, which were very delicious. My son had the hibachi steak and enjoyed his meal. I had their sushi and it was fresh and delicious. My husband enjoyed his sashimi which was served in a cool box. The service was very good and the interior Was nice. It felt like a place locals enjoyed a lot.

There is suddenly no shortage of sushi/ramen joints in Asheville, which for a sushi/ramen lover isn't a bad thing (though I'd really love to see just one great pho place...I digress). The wife and I stopped in to try this new addition to the scene and left impressed. The space is a good size with quite a few tables and a good number of sushi bar seats. I wouldn't say there is anything remarkable about the setting or decor, but on a busy Saturday evening the vibe was relaxed and comfortable. The menu is extensive, including a nice sake list, copious sushi/sashimi options, and some interesting tapas and mains. If you can't find something that interests you, that's totally on you. If you have troubles making decisions, maybe bring a menu buddy to help you make the final call. It is not an inexpensive menu, so be prepared to spend a few bucks. The portions are generous, so there is balance. The sushi roll we had was well made, perfectly presented, and delicious. The yakisoba stir-fry was quite tasty, a nice depth of flavor. If you dig on octopus, the tako carpaccio was excellent (that citrus yuzu...). The spring rolls and miso were exactly as they should be. The service was friendly and accurate, even if a little slow at times due to the Saturday evening rush. We weren't in a hurry, so no big. The food came out quickly and accurately. If you love sushi or ramen or stir fry or sake - stop in and check out this new spot.

The service was attentive and friendly. The decor has a beautiful Japanese aesthetic, creating a relaxing and inviting ambiance that's perfect for both casual and special occasions. The sushi was solid, with decent quality and good portion sizes. I really enjoyed the stir-fried udon. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the balance of meat, vegetables, and noodles was spot on -- it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.

Our second time here! Wonderful fresh food, great service and a fun atmosphere. The sashimi spoons are one of our favorites!!

Panang Curry Ramen With Rare Pepper Steak.

Service was excellent. Everything we tried was delicious. The crispy brussel sprouts, pork gyozo, and egg rolls were great appetizers. We tried the Patton sushi roll, which was quite good, as well as the steak lo mein. The highlight of the experience was the panang curry ramen with rare pepper steak. So flavorful! Our entire party enjoyed their meals and experience here.

Me and my husband decided to try this place while visiting Asheville. We did feel very welcome in this establishment. We ordered Pork Gyozas they were absolutely delicious. With it being cold outside we both decided to order ramen different types. Based off of our bowls and the contents of the bowls it was hard to distinguish which was which. When I see ramen at other restaurants I typically order Shoyu, there were some good ingredients within the bowl but the thing that we both agreed on was that the corn used in both bowls came from a can it had a metallic taste to it. We both came to the conclusion that the corn and the bok choy were the most out of place based off of how it was cooked. We also agreed that for the price of each bowls that we were pretty underwhelmed with the quality of the ramen. I will say that the atmosphere for the restaurant was beautiful, beautiful art pieces and well-lit. My thing about restaurants is that when there is an overwhelming amount of items on the menu I tend to get concerned about the quality of individual plates. I will say the presentation of the food was beautiful. Our server was very sweet and friendly. I just feel that what we got should be improved upon.

It's light and filling. The ramen bowls are rich and the miso vegetarian Ramen is much more bold, flavorful than I had expected. The carrots and roots were caramelized with a sweetened hint. Definitely a place we will return to, next time we are in Asheville.

The staff were extremely helpful. I mentioned I was looking for vegetarian options, and the bar tender thoughtfully guided me through the various options on both the tapas and ramen menus. That made for a great experience. In terms of the food, I opted for the miso eggplant and the garlic butter broccoli. Both were excellent. The miso eggplant is served as well cooked Japanese eggplant with a light tempura treatment and somewhat sweet miso glaze. Not too heavy, but still delicious and nicely textured. The broccoli was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. It made for a nice pairing. In terms of beer, they had a few different local beers on tap. I went for a local pale ale. Great. In any case, this place is highly recommended. I suspect their vegetarian ramen would probably be pretty good, but that was a little heavier than what I was looking for. It was nice to have a few other vegetable forward options available as a backup.

The entire bowl was phenomenal & I wished we had gone back there, the boiled egg they gave was also roasted and the bamboo shoots were fresh, the meat so tender and juicy, and the broth is very tasty!! I craving it while typing and a watery mouth! My partner and I shared a Miso Ramen and I wish we had something similar where I live!!! It felt more personalized than what you normally expect at a restaurant. The server was cheerful and made us laugh. We ordered the house salad, which was fresh and the ginger dressing tasty. Then, because I was so overwhelmed at the huge selection of veggie sushi (and figured them I could have lunch tomorrow), I ordered 3 rolls and some nigiri. The sweet potato roll was great - crispy with a little eel sauce on top. I added cream cheese to the avocado, asparagus, cucumber roll (which happens to be my favorite roll), and they added it with ease and for a fair cost (some places scramble when I ask for this roll). The joy roll with the tofu and crunch inside was so creative and great - probably my favorite roll. Then, I love it when places have the tofu skin nigiri, and they def had a good one. Not to mention, the presentation on our dishes was beautiful and so unique. After trying several places around Asheville, we now have a new go-to place for sushi for sure. We will be back!
