Absolutely delicious food! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Plenty of seating and the whole place feels warm and inviting.

The service is phenomenal he was super nice and helpful. We got almost everything on the menu, the Mahi taco was better than the one I had fresh off the boat in Hawaii!! My mind was blown... the chicken taco was my next favorite, the fried avocado taco was alright I wouldn't order it again, but it was interesting. This place will transport you to a beachy vibe every bite you take. My new favorite fish taco place for sure. Thanks for taking me to the islands one bite at a time ;)

I shared the 3 taco plate with my cousin and o...m...g.... The fried avocado was SO GOOD. I still think about it! Perfectly crispy, creamy, flavorful, and of course full of the magical essence of avo. The pork was really great too, but I don't remember it too much. Really, nothing compares to that fried avocado... My cousin had the mahi taco and she said it was super tasty! I tried two of the salsas. The green was good but the habanero was incredible. Too bad most of it spilled into the basket (our fault) and I didn't want to out them another splash of it. But I made due with what we could save, and I'll be dreaming about it until the next time I come by for the fried avocado taco...

Great spot for some island style tacos. I've tried all the tacos and pork sliders as well. The flour tortillas have just the perfect amount of char and crunch to them. You can choose natural or blackened, blackened is the way to go. Great value here, I usually spend about $10 and leave full and satisfied.

Had a hankering for fish tacos and this cart did not disappoint. I'll definitely be back.

We visit this pod once a week or so...and have a bunch of favorites here, so easy! But we never tried Mahi Taco. After all, what could be differentiated about a taco truck taco? We tried it for the first time, and seriously, it may be the best taco we have ever had!! We will likely never have another trip to Piedmont food cart pod without a trip to Mahi Taco! The tortilla was amazing, crispy, and ingredients divine - check out the photo! Also, even if most other places are closed, this guy seems to be open more often and later than most others. So that Monday night craving? Yep...

Best fish taco I've had in my life! We randomly found this stand in the piedmont food cart and didn't expect to strike gold here. The owner is super chill and has great service. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you want a great taco and a great vibe.

My favorite lunch spot. Definitely recommend anything on the menu. The prices are very fair and the portions are great!

Wow. New favorite taco/Hawaiian spot! I got the 2 taco plate with garlic shrimp and my partner got the blackened mahi-mahi tacos and we traded one for one and everything was DELICIOUS. The Mac salad was great, and I'm usually not a coleslaw fan but not the case here!! And it was $9 (a dollar off taco special). I hope the garlic shrimp stays on their menu.

Delicious food & super nice guy at the helm--he helped us find the right dishes. The plate option is a great deal: 2 tacos with sides of mac salad, slaw, and cilantro lime rice for $10. Loved the fried avocado and kahlua pork tacos. Yummerz.

But today, I had the time to swing by and fortunately he was open, but SOLD OUT. Fortunately, he had a few things left over. So I said yes to a mix plate. Nolan's Hawaii accent is still thick it made me feel like I was back home on the west side for a second (!!!!thank you!!!!) I met some people outside the food stand, a business man from Hawaii and some California people I mistaken were from Hawaii as well, lol. It was an awesome interaction, from the moment I got there I got greeted by strangers waiting for food, to going up to the window and asking "so what? No more nuttin left?" Nolan's response was "Nah I only get mochicko chicken and kalua, you likem?" Haha that was a definite yes! Won't miss out on home food esp if word of mouth was already out there. So I waited a few minutes for my food, and the box was heavy. Haha it felt like when you would eat at your aunty and uncles house and they pack you the party left overs. I opened my plate lunch and I was greeted by a huge portion of chicken, pork rice and Mac salad. And let me tell you, the Mac salad didn't have so much frills like what you would see in a Portland Hawaii food joint. It was sauced, and seasoned. PERFECT! No need for all the extra add ons. As I started eating, let me say that kalua pork was no joke so moist and easy to eat not even close to dried out. The chicken tasted nice and crispy with just enough marinate and fluff. I haven't found this anywhere in Oregon..until here. Yeah sure there's a poke and katsu bar in the shopping center next door... but I take the random food cart in the parking lot any day over something franchised

You would see that it's going to a motel, you would think to add the silverware. Fortunately, I was able to get silverware from my motel's breakfast room. The lumpia were very good. They were not greasy at all. They are smaller than standard eggrolls, but because they use more meat and less veggies than your standard eggroll, they pack a lot more flavor. Everything inside was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed them. They came with a vinegar based dipping sauce that I liked The "garlic Ponzu" salmon poke? No, not nearly as good. For the price they were charging, it was not a very big portion. Besides that, it just wasn't that good. A good salmon is normally pink to orange. This salmon was barely pink. I couldn't taste the garlic or the Ponzu at all. The veggies were crisp, the rice was a good quality, but there was just no seasoning. The salmon was very bland. I didn't know if it was just because of the seasoning, maybe they used a low quality or a previously, frozen salmon. I love good salmon. This was not good salmon. For the price I paid, not counting the DoorDash fees because those are added in anyway, I just felt I didn't get my moneys worth. Next time I'm in the area, I will find another place. Thanks anyway.

So defintely come hungry or prepared for left overs. I will say the Chicken wasn't my favorite. It was bad but didn't wow me. The Kalbi (short ribs) were really tasting and very tender. If you like Garlic the korean style food is for you. Pupu Platter: It's a sampler platter is a great way to try a couple things. The Mochicko Chicken was pretty good. Never had it in strips but overall tasted good. The Kalua Pig Egg Rolls were not my favorite. I foudn the Kalua pig very bland. Hamburger Steak: This was pretty good. The gravy was on point and who doesn't love grilled onions? The only thing I had about the burgers was they were a little tough and a little over cooked. made it a bit like bricks.

The decor is what you would expect it to be with tiki style furnishings all around and a soundtrack to accompany the vibes. Once you walk in and shut the door behind you, it's almost a given that you'll forget the time of day because the entire place is windowless. Another cool feature if you ask me. I have to say when looking around I kept contemplating the fact that someone walked in here and said "yeah, this will make a great tiki lounge". Regardless, they were right! The food was actually delicious. I had the cuban sandwich and the hawaiian bread.
