Fun place but the service like what everyone is saying..HORRIBLE. I understand that there are a lot of people but we were here until 1am. We ordered 5 shots for my group in the beginning of bowling. The shots didn't come at all. We told the staff. Never came and then they said that they gave the shots to A DIFFERENT GROUP. We played 2 games and IT STILL DIDN'T COME.Then after a while the manager finally talked to us and basically interrogated us. What in the world?!? Then he said that he can't give free liquor. It's pricey but fun. They have an okay selection of games for all ages. Each power card is $1 and if you put in $75, you get $25 as bonus. I just just went for it and for about 2 hours, I spent about $60. We played a lot of the ticket games and racked up about 1600 points. The prizes are pretty good. I saw a couple buy a freaking Drone lol. They have specials on Mondays where you pay $10 and you can have unlimited games. You can't get tickets but you can play all the video games from 4pm to close. I wish this was more available during the week besides Mondays. Its loud and crowded during the weekends and I think its a fun place to visit during those rainy days. They have laser tag, bowling, food, etc so lots to do in one place. Very poor experience my first trip here with long waits two weeks ago. Selected to try them again with only my son and I. Made our way to the front desk and inquired about the deals for the day. The two kids at the desk sold me on an $18 deal for each player that included everything. He asked for a manager when he could not find the button to ring it up. Then the manager told the cashier that their are no deals for the day and that everything is full price. Which changed the $18 each to $70 each. Manager stated that the only deals this location has is on Mondays.. Place was empty. No one playing games or pool, only a few folks at the bar. So we exited and went to went to D and B, which had tones of more guest than Main Event. With Bowling, games, food I spent $90. Take away the food, and the total was $45. Highly disappointed in Main Event. The bartenders try to make no eye contact and act like they are swamped. It is a nightmare trying to order a drink. Service is very slow if you try to order anything from the servers. Buzzers don't work and when you say something, they don't have a good excuse. Don't fall for the 3 hour pass, everything will be backed up for hours. A police officer came up to my friend and tried to kick him out and got really aggressive out of nowhere. Had a group of about 30 tried to call ahead of time to make a reservation was told I didn't need one. Oh how I wish they would have let us make a reservation. We got 4 lanes for an hour the line to pay was very congested. But they did allow us to pay individually and that was awesome. The manager bless her hard did her best to get us checked out and shoes for everyone. Also we were told it would be about and hour b4 we could get out lanes. Surprised to have had a bad experience. Ordered a beer in frame 1 and got it delivered around frame 8. We had four players. Another person ordered a Margarita and got it after we were done and it was clear it sat awhile. Bathrooms were dirty and trays of empty plates and glasses where on half the tables. They offered 30 minutes of arcade play if you registered and the card they gave us had zero minutes. When we asked, they implied we were lying. I read the yelp reviews prior to going, & almost didn't go to be honest. We checked in almost immediately, and got our Fun Pass (the pass the included everything). We went to the gravity ropes, then the laser tag, and bowling where we ate lunch. At lunch, Adam was our server, extremely efficient & friendly. Our food was good. After bowling we hung out in the arcade area, before my son wanted to do the ropes again. This time the attendant at the gravity ropes, wasn't as nice, but everyone else was nice there. Someone else in the group ordered bbq boneless wing... they gave him bone-in wings....then they gave him boneless wings but with sriracha sauce. These people get orders wrong more than Mcdonald's. Update to my previous 1 star review. We decided to give them another chance..It took an entire year to come back. I do appreciate the managers actually reaching out to us on regards to our past experience. They even offered to make it right. But since we waited so long to revisit we decided to fund it ourselves. So sad to report that the only change was the every other game being off I assume due to covid-19 distancing. However the others ones weren't working either. Some games took credits and didn't turn on. The solution to that is go to the winners circle and they will put the credits back. How do you have time to play if you are constantly having to request credit refunds?? Eventually we gave up leading to lost money on cards we no longer wanted to use and decided to continue our Valentine's Day elsewhere. This is an awesome place for bowling, they do unlimited bowling by the hour which is usually just enough time and for two people you can easily complete 2-3 games. What a waste of $$$!!! $50 for my 5 yr old & I to bowl for 1 hour. There's a Brunswick Zone up the road that is like $2 per game per person. I could've bowled all day there. A certain group of people who don't understand etiquette and personal space kept walking into my lane. They needed to take their 500 photos. So we went to the arcade after our 1 hour was over. $1.50 + for a game that lasts about 45 seconds. My son got a toy from the crane game so he was happy. Save your money. Went to bowl with my family. There was a wait, so we purchased arcade cards to play some arcade games. Should not have bothered, flushed the money right down the toilet. Literally everything is broken. Always in their favor, of course. It takes your money and then doesn't work. When you alert employees, they say they will be right over then disappear, then when you finally flag them down for the second or third time, they don't care or refund your credit after you stand there waiting on them. The ones that appear to work, the tickets do not add to your card. When we were bowling, the bowling alley was broken more than it was working. Same with those next to us. You are on a timer, you play by the hour. Each time it breaks you wait 15 minutes at least for them to come look, then they fiddle with it for awhile. I did my best to find patience this time but was unable to relate to this service. For starters, the bathroom was disgusting. I was only able to find one stall with toilet paper out of maybe 10? I understand the place is filled with kids who probably made the mess but no one cleaned up after it or bothered to add toilet paper or refill the soap. My friend and I waited over an hour for 3 sliders. When we asked to speak to a manager, he seemed less than accommodating and almost shocked/annoyed that we were unhappy. I've come to this location on several occasions and when I went Christmas night with my boyfriend, we had the WORST experience by the gentleman working the bar (unfortunately, I didn't get his name) and by one of the managers working that night, Linda, who's name I was able to get. My boyfriend and I luckily found an open spot by the bar because, as you could imagine, Main Event was pretty live (busy) that night. We sat for more than over 5 minutes before the bartender (a tall man with a small beard and glasses), who constantly walked by us without saying anything, finally stopped where we were and took my boyfriend's food and drink order. Simple nachos and a sweet tea. Fairly basic. Well, another 5... 10 minutes go by and still not even a drink. I managed to get the manager's attention... long enough for her to give me the "wait a moment" finger (no eye contact, no smile, nada) and walked off without another word. At this point, I'm ready to go to the Waffle House down the block because I know we wouldn't have seen the behavior exhibited here, there. My boyfriend wants to wait a little while longer. Almost 10 minutes later, again, I'm over it and I tell him I'm ready to walk out. We watched this bartender take orders, refill orders, give patrons their check and AVOID our area of the bar for nearly 10 minutes. We both work in the food industry and this type of behavior is BEYOND unacceptable. Not only that, but it is incredibly rude to treat people like that, particularly considering the industry. Had he had at least one other bartender, it may have gone differently. This experience definitely put a SOUR taste in my mouth for this location. The waitress brought the food to the tables where we were bowling. She did not bring silverware. About 15-20 minutes later she showed up with 2 forks and 2 knives. I would love to take my kid back here and hang out with friends and family here but the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I'm going to be fair and honest here, the limited number of staff they put on the schedule there are all nice and professional, but even one person told me she's not the server but they are so short staffed she had to do what's best. It is not the employees fault, this is management! The service makes this place terrible. I've been here on three separate occasions and each time I have been more than disappointed in the service. The server told me and my friend to go to the bar for drinks while we were bowling because the server was busy. Not only was he lazy, but we had to approach him after not even being greeted in our lane. Add to that the fact that we wasted 10 minutes of our bowling time just to get drinks, and we were not satisfied. Bowling is always fun, but it's disappointing to know these people don't take pride in their workplace, and, therefore, make it look unappealing. On a more recent visit, my mom and I came to play pool. When we inquired if we could pay for additional playing time ahead of time (we were told it was 45 cents per minute after the first half hour regardless of how long we played, and we wanted to buy an additional half hour after our first 30 minutes because it would be cheaper in the long run), we were met with confused looks and a robotic statement that was both unhelpful and unrelated to our question. It's like these servers can't think for themselves... we also saw employees on their phones and meandering around like it was a bother for them to be at work. I understand this may not be their career (or dream) job, but it reflects poorly on the company and affects future business when customers don't enjoy their experiences. Management really needs to step up their training protocols and/or hire employees with more dignity. This place has potential to be great, but it's just not there at this time. read more

Took the family for bowling last Friday night @7pm. The gal suggested that I purchase the all day bowling bracelet instead of per lane because it's cheaper. The wait was about 1 hour or so. Got our lane and bowled. Ordered some food. Food arrived and we ate a bit and the lane got turned off because the limit was 1 hour for bowling. We only got to the 7th frame. Very disappointed that we could even finish a game. The very least, I was expecting to finish a whole game. We didn't want to wait another 2 hours for another lane because by the time we got a lane it would have been closing time. Wished they had clearly stated bowling was limited to 1 hour per lane. Will be looking for a new bowling alley. Not worth the money because you can't finish a game with 8 players. read more
