My sister and I tend to stop by Main Event ever so often to sit at the bar and converse. We dont see each other often so it's always a great meeting point. This particular night made me want to write a review about Floyd and Tanya. We always sit at the bar and try the new drafts, new specials, and just enjoy the scenery. Floyd immediately cleaned us a space off to sit and welcomed us offering us some specials and great conversation. Tanya then came over and she made us a specialty drink and advised I get the new wings. She was very attentive and even noticed that some of my wings werent cooked the way that I'd asked without me even having to complain she went back to the back and asked me what else I wanted. That type of customer service goes along way. Floyd also came over and Kept our glasses full. The bar was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and great service. We will continue to go there. i visited the suwanee location on june 26th 2021 for friends birthday. i brought a gift bag for his birthday that contained cupcakes and a birthday card that also included money which was also included in the gift bag. we played a bowling game and near closing we returned our shoes to the front booth and we were the last in the bowling area other than employees that were cleaning up the area. my friend left his gift bag for less than 5 minutes while he returned his shoes and we came back to an empty bag with nothing but the gift wrap paper in the bag. so we went to a manager his name was norm, he was very rude and insisted that we misplaced the items. we went back to the area allng with norm and one of the employees (no name tag) admitted to taking the cupcakes but not the card. one of the guests in my party asked her why she felt it was acceptable to take what was not hers and she used profanity and even stormed off. norm did nothing about the situation and called security for us to be removed from the premises. this is completely unacceptable as i work in management and i wont ever be visiting this location again. read more

You can't go wrong with bowling! Service, however, could use a ton of work. Took 40 minutes to get our fountain drinks and got our food right as our time (1hr) ran out on our lane. The manager was aware of our servers lack of hospitality and inability to be present and serve us but didn't help the server out or compensate us for wasted time. For as expensive as it is to bowl there, I was expecting a better time. Will probably stick to regular bowling alleys where you don't spend $110 for 6 people to bowl for an hour and get ignored by the server. read more

This place is a joke. The staff is rude and unhelpful and clearly untrained/lacking in any sense of professionalism. My child went with a school group and a random person walked up and stole her game card from the group table and returned it empty when he was done and no one would do anything even though she could point the person out. She also played laser tag and was disabled for no reason. When she asked the young girl why she disabled her, she said because she felt like it. Food is terrible too. This place was horrible. Took my family out for my brother's birthday and our experience quickly plummeted. We got there and we wanted to try their "eat and play combo"! Boy how I wish we would've listened to the reviews on how disgusting their food was. It took forever for the food to come out and when it did, OMG it was disgustingly cold and tasted like everything came in as frozen/ processed. Nothing was cooked fresh. Not even the wings. The salad was so wilted we couldn't even eat that. We requested to speak to a manager. Finally, when she came over she kept insisting we get something else! GROSS. After going back and forth she finally took off one meal on the tab, though we were still charged for the other 2 disgusting meals. Moving on, being that it was my brother's birthday celebration we decided to still keep high hopes for the arcade. The arcade was pretty fun, but the games were quite expensive. The whole time I kept thinking about how much more awesome our regular, Dave N Busters would be. After that, we thought that maybe we'd get a kick out of laser tag, but it was not at all what we expected. We paid for the laser tag and were told to line up for the 9pm session. Out of nowhere a lot of noisy loud kids ran up and were very disrespectful. I had to discipline someone else's kids because the parents weren't apparently required to watch their kids. I even heard the kids tell the attendant they were allowed to come in for "free" versus everyone else who paid a pretty penny, just because their "cousin" worked there. The attendant at the Laser Tag was useless. She didn't give any instructions we pretty much had to keep flagging her down to get directions on the laser gun. Once inside their were a lot of little kids who were confused. Granted we were too because we didn't know what we were supposed to be doing. We hated our experience here, especially because we planned this for my brother's birthday. I'm going to report this to corporate because this is extremely horrible! Worst experience ever. I will always choose ANYWHERE ELSE OVER HERE. Go to Dave N Busters. Food is a lot better and so are the games. Will never come back again. read more

Very very poor customer service. The lady who was working the front counter was extremely rude to my friends and me while we were trying to figure out what we wanted to do. They also do not do the 3 hour unlimited deal anymore so the prices of everything are outrageous if you plan on playing all the games they have. I wish I could rate this place zero stars! I have been to the location in Alpharetta and had a great time but I went to the Suwanee Main Event it was similar to all of the other reviews written. I typically don't take the time to write reviews but that is just how bad it was! My husband and I went with friends to play pool. We were ignored at the bar for about 15 minutes and then when I asked for service the bartender Ray had a terrible attitude. She begrudgingly made our drinks and then we asked again about playing pool and she just said "there's a wait". We were fine with that and went to spend about $40 playing games. She said the wait was 30 minutes but after an hour our pager still had not gone off. I went to the bar and was greeted with Ray's not so friendly attitude. To keep a long story short I gave her my credit card and she said it wasn't workin because she apparently hadn't closed out tabs (meaning people were still getting charged for pool but weren't playing). I gave my husband the pool balls to go start playing while I kept waiting. She then told us we couldn't play until she could figure it all out. I was still waiting for a drink and to put my card on file for the game and that pushed me over the edge and we left. After an hour of spending money on games and bad overpriced drinks we never got to play pool and had so many rude employee interactions. I will never go there again and have already told everyone I know not to bother going there. read more

This place COULD be awesome. I have been here 3 times now so this is based on more than 1 experience. First, they need to have a huge talking to w/their staff. They will completely ignore you even if you are standing right in front of them. You would think getting them to say "hello" or your "welcome" would mean their tongue would fall out of their mouths. Yes, the majority of the staff is young but that has nothing to do with it. Expectations needs to be set and Management should be walking the floor listening to how their staff interacts with the customers. Second, the prices of the games are ridiculous. $1.50, $1.75, $2.00! I take my son to arcades and I like to be able to play the games too but here you will blow through $$$ in about 20 minutes and ticket pay out is poor. Third, games are constantly broken. Several "out of orders" on the card screens or you swipe your card and nothing happens and lose money. Claw machines are super rigged and they charge you $2.00 a pop. This place is literally down the street from my house but we will continue to drive the extra distance to Dave + Busters. Staff is better, if a machine is broke they are on it immediately and your money will last so much longer. read more

The food and service was crappy. I paid for a pass to do all the activities but wasn't told reservations were required until I approached the zip line area. The attendents at the zip line told us to wait in the "bowling" line to get a zip line reservation. After waiting in that line, they told me to move to another line (same desk, adjacent computer terminal) and didn't care at all that I was misinformed. After 30 minutes in the second line, the desk tells me that the zip line reservation area was moved to the back of the facility!!! They said the change was just made and there was nothing they could do. I asked for a manager and he was helpful and even reset my gaming card which had lost about an hour (good for three hours) due to long lines. The facility is really nice and the activities were fun but they need to get their act together. RIght now, I wouldn't go near that place unless you enjoy getting the run around. read more

We went to this location on a Saturday morning to check it out for the first time. First impressions as we walked in were nice - the place looks brand-new - I even thought this would be a great place for a kid's birthday party. But as time passed, we began to realize that the looks were deceiving. It was not busy, since it was before Noon, but our disappointment began at their front desk (where customers go to book a bowling lane or get tickets for playing) there were a couple of families ahead of us and at least 5 representatives behind the counter, but ONLY ONE REP WAS ACTUALLY DOING ANY WORK - all the others were basically hanging out chatting and looking bored. When we finally got to the representative we decided to get the package with bowling and laser tag. We received a pager for the bowling lane and went on our way. We tried to play some pool as we waited for our pager to vibrate/ring. We approached the bar area were we were supposed to put down our names for the pool tables. We could not get the attention of the lady bartender. Finally we grabbed the attention of a waitress and she put our name down on the waiting list; I wondered why we had to wait since there were plenty of tables opened, regardless the lady told us that we had to wait for a table to "open". Meanwhile we tried the laser tag area - which was pretty good to be fair. Almost one hour later (we never got to play pool) we finally decided to check at the front desk on how long more we had to wait for the bowling lane (which, just as in the pool tables, there were lanes open, not sure why the wait). Again we had to wait since there was only one person doing actual work behind the counter. The lady just said the they had ringed our page a while back - which I don't know how I did not hear or feel it since the pager was in my pants' pocket (not in my purse). Tables around the bowling area were dirty and the floors too. So, in summary, this place could be great if they only invested more on CUSTOMER SERVICE. They had all of these people "working" there that made the whole experience horrible - they had no interest in assisting anybody and a look of contempt on their faces. Needless to say I am not coming back and will not recommend this location to any of my friends. read more

The absolute WORST service just like the other yelpers said. Before we bowled we ordered a few snacks and a few shots. We waited about 1.5 hours... asked a worker and she told us a manager will come to see us at least 5 times. The manager did not come.. we STILL did not get our shots but we got our food.. nachos, not good. Chips and guac- the guac was so brown you could NOT eat it.. how are you serving crap like that. Seriously. We had to ask for our shots at LEAST 10 times. A server comes and says the shots were served to another party?!?! What.. the... heck.... seriously? We asked for our shots again. The server says it'll be on the house.. okay.. so where are the shots...? We had to walk over to the bar area to get our shot and ask for it.. they finally give it to us. We drink it and the manager comes... his name was Steve btw.. says he can't give us free shots.. it's illegal or some crap like that.. then he interrogates us.. asking who told us about the free shots. Asks us to point out the server.. etc etc. are you kidding me....? The WORST SERVICE. AND the manager, Steve needs training on management. If I come back. IF I will not be getting any food and drinks will be ordered at the bar. Sigh read more

This is a very nice concept but I felt that the bowling was over priced and the service was absolutely horrible. Paid for one hour or bowling for 3 people and it came to more than $51 with shoes. Plus, our time started at the moment that you paid, so by the time you got to the lane, picked out a ball, and took the pictures that they ask you to take before you start bowling, quite a bit of time had already been wasted. A manager said that they allow 5 minutes of "walk time" before your time officially starts, but that is not true. We had the receipt and the timer that proved that the time started immediately. The manager was good and had time added for our lane. Now for the service. We ordered drinks and it took more than 15 minutes for them to arrive. It was 30 minutes before we were asked if we wanted food. We ordered nachos and they were good. I tried to get a refill of my iced tea ($3.25 which is high), but our waitress was nowhere to be found. Finally got her attention, but another 20 minutes went by and we had not received the refill. Found another waitress and she brought the refill, but by this time it had taken close to 30 minutes. In fact, after we received the nachos, our waitress did not come back on her own one single time. I had to search her out and then got no follow through and had to search out another waitress just to get a drink refill. I do not think that we will be back based on the high price of bowling and the fact that you don't get a full hour because of when they start counting the time, and the horrendous service. read more

I'm only giving main event 3 stars because I love the entertainment here. We finished doing gravity ropes which was awesome but the service was horrible. If it wasn't for the service I would give this place 5 stars!!! First, they gave us a bowling lane which had a table that was full of dirty plates from the previos group of people. Second, I went to look for a server to let her know. I asked if she could clean it and if I could order some food before the kitchen closed. She said she would be with me shortly if I just ave her a minute. I waited. I then heard an announcement that the kitchen was now closed. I looked for her again. Mind you the table was still dirty with wing bones and food all over it from the previous group. I told her I was waiting for her and I heard the kitchen was closed announcement. She said opps sorry I get off at 1 that's why I didn't come back. I asked her to clean our table way before one. Second, then why would she tell me that she would come to me if I just waited a minute. Anyways I just walked away and told this man who happened to be the manager. He totally ignored the fact that we'd been sitting in a dirty table for about 20min now. & all he said was sorry the kitchen is closed all you can do is get a drink from the bar. I told him the server had me wait just so the kitchen could close and he could care less. I asked another server to please at least clean the table and she was very nice and totally understood that she wouldn't want to be sitting in a dirty table either, mind you full of wing bones from other people. She said she would clean it if we gave her a minute. She didn't come back but then i think it was a buss boy who came. He apologized for us sitting in a dirty table for that long with out it being cleaned. I thanked him and he finally cleaned the table. I wasn't as upset about the food. I was more mad because we sat at a dirty table with other people's wing bones and dirty dishes for about 30minutes. I was a server before I know it's not easy and I hate to say things like this, but this literally was not a great experience at all. And to top it all of the server was still there when we left. We saw her conversing with other customers the whole time. In my head I was just thinking, she's saying she's about to get off so that's why she can't do her job, but yet she's standing her talking with other people. Just worst experience. Again, loved the place tho !!! The bartenders were also awesome. Although, I had to keep going to the bar to get my own drinks the whole night. read more

The idea of this place is amazing but the staff was horrible, or should I say the staff that they had was horrible. They were not prepared for spring break at all! I walked In the door at 11:30, reserved a bowling lane and was told it would be about an hour to an hour and a half which was fine. I then tried reserving laser tag and they were unsure if my child was tall enough so they sent me over to check and said I could pay over there. The guy working there said no you have to go get back in line where you reserved the lane and pay there. So I went back! Now its 12:15! As I reserved the time my buzzer went off to bowl which was great since it was much earlier than expected. While we were bowling we decided to order a pizza. I asked one of the servers to come over and take our order. After 30 minutes of waiting I decided to go order it myself and then was given an attitude when I asked for it to be delivered to my lane. It was delivered as our hour for the lane was up. I then go try to reserve another time for laser tag and I was sent back and forth to the different lines because no one seemed to know where I was supposed to go. Now it's almost 2 and out reserved time was for 2:30. We decided to play games. Well the ski ball machine was broken and ate $5 of our money so I had to go search for someone who worked there because there wasn't anyone on the game floor. The game didn't have any balls in it! I was told to wait there someone will come fix it and reload the money onto your card. No One came and it was time to play laser tag so we went and played. When we were done no one had gone to fix the game since we had someone still wait there. I finally asked for a manager and after giving me a hard time he finally reloaded the $5 onto my card and I was told the game would be fixed. I was watching no one fixed it and multiple others were getting screwed as well because it was eating up there money. I will probably not go back there because I was given the run around, sent back and forth, and had to wait around for more then 2 hours total. We were there for 4 hours! Half of that should not have been spent waiting for things to be fixed, sent here there and everywhere or waiting for service. For a new business they have no excuse for the lack of professionalism with their employees. They had training what a month ago. They couldn't have forgot that fast. They need to hire more people and train them properly. read more
