It was so good I didn't even get around taking a picture. Let's start from the beginning: ordered veggie dumplings, papaya salad, pad thai, and Thai iced coffee. Placed my order online 90min ahead of my desired pick up time. When I got there the order was ready, all wrapped up with a bow (ok, it was a knot from the plastic bag handle, BUT TO ME IT WAS A PRESENT SO I'LL CALL IT A BOW, OK!?). The lady who greeted me and handed me the food had to stop me while as I power walked to my car (ALL I COULD THINK WAS FOOD IN MY BELLIE!) And she reminded me I was missing my drink, so she handed me a 2nd bag (with a bow) and said "we added a Thai iced tea as a present" ... so you understand now, it indeed was a bow WITH A PRESENT! AND JUST LIKE THAT, I WAS HOOKED. I got home, plated the food (which they prepared perfectly as requested, down to extra crispy tofu, extra veggies, and spice on the side so we could add to taste). EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS, THE PORTIONS BIG ENOUGH TO EAT 3 OR 4 MORE TIMES (needless to say my husband and I have lunch for tomorrow!). I really enjoyed the food, the dumplings, OMG! What a joy to the tastebuds! The pad Thai, scrumptious WITH BIG CHUNCKS OF CRISPY TOFU (none of that slimy stuff for me, thank you). The papaya salad: fresh, flavourful foward, tasty, and filling! I'm happy to be one of the first few to review this place because they have quality Thai food and deserve recognition for it. My boyfriend and I frequent different Thai places in LA and are glad this one opened up near west Carson. If you are familiar with the area, they are located in the strip mall next to the Numero Uno market and Planet Fitness. I got the pad Thai with shrimp and the balance between savory and sweet was perfect. The yellow curry is flavorful, rich and had the right amount of spice. I have no idea why this place has close to 5 stars on both yelp and Uber eats. They either bought artificial reviews or the people that reviewed it have never actually eaten Thai food before. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, pineapple curry, green curry and pad Thai through Uber eats. This was the worst, blandest, most flavorless Thai food I've had in my life. Literally every single item was lacking in any spice and every other aspect. If it was even average i would have ate it and went on with my life but it was so terrible I had to leave a review. The first time we tried their Beef Pad See Ew and Shrimp Red Curry. The portions were generous and the quality was a solid 4 stars. The beef was a little on the dry side but tasty and the portions of ingredients were in balance. The Shrimp Red Curry was also very tasty and not too spicy for medium, but would be nicer to have a couple of more shrimps. This last time we ordered we ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Panang Curry. The Pad Thai was an extremely generous portion in volume, however there was way too much noodle to ingredients. Also having too much noodle meant there was less space for the ingredients and not enough flavor. The chicken was also dry and over cooked. This time ordering the beef in curry, it was much more tender, however it was missing peanuts or there was so little that it wasn't noticed. The curry flavor also was weaker, but ordering it in medium was much spicier than the last time we ordered their curry at medium. They need to work on their consistency so customers will know what level of spicy to request. This place is pretty good, if they can make a few improvements and improve their consistency, I'd rate them the 4-5 stars. read more

I've had average tasting Thai food from restaurants that seemed more popular, but this place... there was no one when I came in, The man that worked there was very friendly and kind, he gave me free Honduran nuts while I waited for my food and told me how to cook and eat them. I don't remember what I ordered but it was a spicy basil fish dish with rice. My whole car smelt phenomenal on the way home. After eating it, Thai food became my favorite after eating this one. I wasn't expecting much from this hole in the wall place, but the red curry I ordered from here was amazing! It's probably the best red curry I've ever had. Most other Thai restaurants I've been to lately make their curries way too salty or even too sweet (overly strong coconut milk taste), but the flavor in this red curry was very well-balanced. The fried tofu had a very satisfying soft texture as well. I ordered medium spicy and it did taste like just the right level of spiciness for me. All in all don't be fooled by the lack of ambience of this restaurant. The food here is better than a lot of the more popular Thai restaurants I've been to. read more
