The food was awesome! My wife and I started off with oysters on the half-shell and fried salmon balls. Both were great! These were some of the largest oysters I have seen and they were very fresh. The salmon balls were great as well. My wife got their specialty fried rice that comes with shrimp chicken and pork. There were tons of veggies in it. She got the regular size and it was enough food to feed 3 people. I got the fried fish and shrimp platter. These were good and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend this place. read more

Food was good but service sucked. We visited last Saturday evening after many recommendations. Had the grilled corn appetizer, shrimp soup and combination fried rice. Took forever to order, despite not being too busy. The grilled corn was good but talk about a wait for the rice. Never received any refills on our drinks,tea and coke, despite the requests to hunt down our waitress. Food showed up, which was delish, however, of course no silverware. Yup, you guessed it, asking another rude waitress for our waitress because of course, we can only get help from our one waitress. Now for requesting the bill, you guessed it, talk about more wait. First things first....the amount of food they give you is ridiculous. The flavor was great, some of the best fried rice I've ever eaten, the staff was friendly when we went to pick it up. It was easy to place an online order to go, and the restaurant was clean. That's was a plus, not a dirty table in sight. Built into the wall juke box for entertainment and tvs also. Ordered fish and shrimp plate and fish plate and was disappointed with the smell and the inconsistency of the fries we had the fries substituted with a fresh salad instead and the waitress took the fries back to show the manager. Service sucked the food was not any better, I felt sick after I ate the calamari and fish and shrimp and was sick when I got home. My daughter had to wait 20 minutes after everyone else had their food to get hers, she's 4. The shrimp were small and butterflied to appear bigger than they were. The seafood platter I ordered had a fillet of fish and a few shrimp all fried. They serve you a generous portion of Mambo rice, which is really shrimp fried rice. It was spicy and greasy. The service was okay. A lot of the servers were very, very young. They were professional and quick to offer refills. The ambiance was okay. There was a lot of space in the restaurant, but the chairs were uncomfortable. I would not recommend this restaurant. Get your seafood at other restaurants. read more

Delicious food, a large outdoor playground for the kids. I don't recommend ordering the mambo shrimp which you have to peel because it has a spicy, oily sauce, and is very messy. But there are options for the same sauce which is delicious with already peeled shrimp. The fried rice is a great side. Three leadies went together, and we all loved it. We had a pretty mid experience. The service was great but the food was extremely mediocre.

We ordered Calamari and it was caked with a very thick layer of breading. I'm still not sure if it was calamari because it was way too much breading and way too overcooked. My choice of food was a duo of fried shrimp and stuffed shrimp. The fried shrimp were not good. I've had better from a box in the freezer section at Costco! The stuffed were decent. The salad that was thrown on my plate was a mess. It was just thrown and was actually on top of some of my shrimp with thin slices of tomatoes. Very unappealing! Horrible experience was told when we checked in 30-45min wait sat outside I let my kids play on play ground a hour in a half went by still nothing. Went to asked the hostess she said you should be next okay. Great came in side another 45mins still waiting looked around there was people sitting on a tablet that fit a party of 6 with just 2 people on the table so when I asked her is it okay to just have a table for 4 and my baby can sit on my lab she told me not after waiting for almost 2 and a half hours we left. First time coming to Mambo Seafood and I can tell you the service wasn't really good. I thought the service would be good because the place has a jukebox and the setting felt nice. However, I went to Mambo with my girlfriend on a Monday night and waited 40 minutes to be seated. I guess it should be a given because they have a wall plug in to be able to charge your phone. It took 30 minutes for me to finally see our waitress. Our waitress was mostly nowhere to be found. Everything I needed took forever to come to our table. I came here to try their Mambo Seafood Boil. After all the wait, they didn't have any more crawfish, which had me a little upset. Instead, I ordered the Calamari as an appetizer and the 6 fried shrimp & stuffed crab which comes with a side of their signature fried rice. The calamari came to our table the same time our food came, which doesn't make sense since I asked for the calamari to be our appetizer. My food wasn't all that great. The calamari texture was too rubbery and salty, the fried shrimp was too salty, and my stuffed crab was too bland. I have to say though, their fried rice is pretty good. I would only go here to Mambo if I wanted fried rice, nothing more. The time I waited wasn't worth our money. read more

First time here and this is an excellent place for seafood! They have items on their menu, you won't see at similar restaurants such as Sea Island or Red Lobster. I had Sauté Octopus with fried rice. If should order fried rice as an entree, be hungry, you'll receive a mountain of rice approximately 4" high. The food is excellent full of flavor, seasoned well yet not greasy or over bearing. We went as a party of 7, it was busy but there was still room and seating wasn't an issue. This is a friendly place, casual dress, excellent staff all add to an enjoyable dining experience.
