I had high hopes after seeing the rave reviews. If you're there just for drinks, you can order at the counter and hangout in the outdoor seating area. It's also dog friendly. If you plan on eating, head inside and wait to be seated. Once you're seated you can order from the QR code on the menu or order from the counter and tell them your table number. The menu was super sticky and dirty and I don't like when I have to tip before receiving service which is the only option when you order from the QR code unless you want to leave cash at the end. The flatbread pizza was pretty bad. My kiddos only took a couple of bites. I tried it and the bread was pretty tough. The quinoa falafel bowl was just ok. The salad portion was refreshing but the falafels were super dry. Stopped here after seeing the sign that there was going to be a band, but it's actually a DJ, not a big deal. The major issue I had was the ordering. Is phone that requires you to pay with tip when ordering. When did a tip stop being for service? How do you give someone a tip for service before they provide the service? Unfortunately, I've seen this at other places too, just over how ridiculous tipping has become and will avoid these places in the future. Sorry for the rant. Anyway, I was giving 3 stars initially and then the food came out. Both my buddy and I got the hot chicken sandwich, which I had here over a year ago and was good. This time it was over cooked and dry. So dry it was hard to swallow even with slaw in it. The waffle fries were stale, and both the sandwiches and fries were room temperature even though it came out within minutes of ordering. I appreciate fast food delivery, but this seemed like a it was just reheated. A grab and go drink cooler. We had two bartenders helping us. One was Lucy and the other a young man. Both were very attentive. My husband ordered the beer tasting flight of all MBC Originals. 7 x 3oz pour ......$15. He thought it was good. I don't drink beer but they had their root beer as one of the samples and it was very tasty. I ordered the house cab and it was good. We both ordered the Damn Good Burger medium temp. $17. prime beef, smoked gouda, chipotle aioli, organic baby kale, arugula, brioche bun I'm a burger snob. I'm picky about my burgers. They need to be cooked to the requested temperature and must be juicy. I felt the burgers were cooked perfectly and all the flavors of the toppings worked well together. Juicy, flavorful. OMG the food here was good! I walked in around 3:30pm after an entire day of XC skiing and was pretty hungry and thirsty. I asked for a Mammoth Kolsch but the keg kicked so waited a few minutes while the bartender went to change it. Bartender was great, got me a pint of the first pull with minimal head as I watched him make my pour. Thank you bartender! Head always sucks IMHO lol...and the Kolsch was nice and crisp, just the way I like it! I worked hard today and for some reason the thing calling my attention on the menu today was the short rib. That isnt the first thing on the menu I usually look for but probably working my body hard made me want some protein. The short rib was so good, very tender, so well cooked and the BBQ demi glace hit the spot. It also came with arugula garnish, which is my favorite green and went very well with the short rib. Potato gratin was yummy and the onion rings perfect! I ate to my hearts content, soooo good! Large portion size so I have leftovers for another meal. Service was good, host at the front was super cheery and friendly. Lots of merch for sale here. Many of the beers also in cans for takeaway too. Also ample parking, and there is also an area to sit outside too. I chose to sit inside as I was outside all day already and got more than my daily Vit D dose! I have been Mammoth Lakes before but I had never been to Mammoth Brewing Company. I have enjoyed some of their IPS but from Total Wine and More. Today I walked with my dog to check out the place. We arrived when they opened at 10 am. I'm a IPA drinker but I do love a great pale ale. My eyes cought the attention of the Yosemite Pale Ale. I asked the person behind the bar for a pint of the pale ale. It was delicious. I ordered one more pint and had them fill my growler up with the pale ale. I also bought shirts and a handkerchief for my dog. On my next visit I will have to try some of their food because, from what the people on the patio ordered, it looked good. read more

Although I regret trying the beer myself, those in my party seemed to enjoy it. We came as a large party so we waited well over an hr and 1/2 for a table that we frankly made ourselves in the bar. We never made it to the main dining area. For a Tuesday night at 6pm in mid Jan, we were surprised by how busy the restaurant was. We ordered a variety of items (not all pictured) and everyone seemed to like their meal. The cheesesteak sandwich was delicious and the fish had a nice outside crunch with the flaky inside. The sweet potato tater tots were also good. My fellow diners, (even the one who ordered the double), commented on how much they enjoyed the burger. If you wanted to take some Mammoth Brew home with you, the restaurant also features a store with clothing and beer but apparently they ran out of root beer which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons we visited. As it was cold outside we appreciated the waiting area/bar in the basement where they had a few extra tables, a shuffleboard and a pool table to help past the time. This was a nice brewery to go to while in Mammoth Lake area. My husband and I took a last minute day road trip to Mammoth Lake. I know, really random but we saw this reel about Juniper Loop. We checked it out and it was quick then ended up at Mammoth Lake for a few nice trails. Afterwards, we were a little hungry. The service was quick. We walked in and sat right away. Love Mammoth Brewing! Love their beers, love their restaurant location in Mammoth Lakes, and their food is next level! I've been a craft beer nut for many years, and Mammoth's offerings are incredible. I've been curating a "Top 10" list for years, and Mammoth's 395 IPA is always at the top. Haven't found another even close! Wild hops and juniper berries??? Who would've thought? The restaurant definitely embraces the ski lodge feel, with bare timber, exposed beams, and rustic woodwork. But of course, all are welcome. They have a great gift shop, with many of their beers available in 4-packs, and will even fill growlers or crowlers for you on the spot. Excellent for camping trips. PRO TIP: Try their root beer! They make it themselves, and it is incredible. Unfortunately they don't can it, but they will fill your growler/crowler. Try Mammoth Brewing! Brioche bun for the win. Really makes a difference! Pickles on the side. Nashville hot tenders - again, portion was very generous! As I kept eating, there were more and more buried underneath lol. Not as spicy as I imagined but still enjoyable. You can ask for the Nashville rub on the side. It's good to add on the fries or onion rings for extra seasoning! Onion rings - the batter was so crispy but light and onions were not cut too thin or thick. They really perfected this. Also, my friend and i ordered at the same table but separately 2 minutes apart and our flatbreads came 15 minutes apart. Came here 2 nights. A very unique experience. First of all, if you sit outside, you place your order online through your phone -- very modern, and honestly I think it's a smart way to lighten the load for the staff. That said, the prices feel a bit high for a place where you seat yourself, place your own order without staff interaction, and pay upfront (I'll never understand how I'm supposed to leave a tip for service that hasn't even been provided yet). As for the food: the pizza was on the small side -- definitely not enough to fill up a hungry guy on its own. But to be fair, it was delicious, no doubt about that. Now, the beer? Absolutely amazing -- truly some of the best I've had in the state. That alone makes this spot worth checking out. This may be a bit of a hot take, but the best thing about Mammoth Brewing is their food. Those people over at the Eatery are serving some serious food. Their Bahn Mi Sandwich was making my mouth water and their "It's not a Philly cheesesteak" sandwich was above average. Maybe it is me and craft beers aren't really my jam anymore, but none of their seasonal brews stood out to me. But their food definitely did! This place can get quite busy, so go early or late if it's a weekend. Our beertender was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. Stopped by for their tasting flight and some food on a Memorial long weekend. The beer selection was hit or miss - enjoyed their lighter options but the IPAs weren't for us. Food Quality Food-wise, it's standard bar fare but nothing special. The Damn Good Burger was average, and the Beef Short Rib tacos were disappointing with wilted cilantro and overly salty, bland meat. The Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza suffered from the same issue - too much salt, not enough flavor. Service Experience Service was solid though. Our server was friendly and quickly moved us inside when it started drizzling at our outdoor table near the kids' play area. They handled the transition smoothly. Perceived Value Don't quite understand the hype about having the "best view in Mammoth Lakes" - didn't see what all the fuss was about. I came here during Mammoth Trailfest absolutely starving after a full day on the mountain, and let me tell you... this place DELIVERED. The first thing I ordered was the large pretzel and I'm not exaggerating when I say I devoured it. Perfectly warm, salty, chewy, with that golden exterior that snaps just slightly before giving way to soft doughy goodness. And the mustard? Tangy, bold, exactly what you want after hours of running around Mammoth! Then came the burger which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. After a long day of hiking (or snowboarding and skiing during the winter months) you always crave a delicious burger and beer - and no place is more quintessential to Mammoth, than Mammoth Brewing. I highly recommend the Damn Good Burger if you're looking for a nice and FAT burger to slam down your gullet. I only got the single, and I was really full. From there, my gf and I got the specialty beer flight, and I think this would be the best value if you'd like to try all their specialties before landing on your favorite (it's HUGE) We also got the chicken BBQ flatbread, very crispy, but not a whole lot of protein in my opinion- still very good. Service was quick, and you can use olive QR codes to order everything, which makes things a lot quicker for the more tech savvy folks out there. Mammoth Brew Co has a limited menu for gluten free but they do have a cheat sheet behind the bar with GF options and note what works for an allergy rather than preference. I had the burger with the GF bun, and when you ask for GF they also remove the bacon beer jam. I asked about cross contamination when grilling the bun and the server said he'd make a note on the order. I was a little nervous but felt fine after so I think they did a good job. In town with old friends and we needed a place that would accommodate 12 and a dog. Tall order. Not for Mammith Brewing.They hooked us up in a great way! We put our names in and we didn't have to wait very long at all. We got sent to two long tables out on the patio that were PERFECT for teenagers... tables 6 and 7. If you know you know LOL My son and I both had the Banh Mi sandwich and it was AMAZING. I'm not exaggerating. I love banh mis but this one was so memorable. I hope they still have it on the menu when we go back to Mammoth! The hubs shared the Golden Fish and Chips with my daughter. His only complaint is that he didn't get it on his own. Really happy I got to try Mammoth Brewing as it's a great spot to stop for a beer and snacks. We came early enough before the lunch rush and were able to snag us a seat at the bar. This is definitely a popular spot and understandably so. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Since outside was primarily families and we were looking for a different vibes we wandered inside and were impressed. Nice tables and a long bar top to sit at. The bar was cozy and not too busy so we sat here. We were greeted right away and staff were very friendly and attentive during our stay. We were impressed by their extensive dining menu with lots of appetizers and mains, however, we just had lunch somewhere else so opted to stick with beers. I'd like to come back for food next tim though as the neighboring tables dishes looked good. For beers there were a lot of choices. I went with one of their special which was called Pink Trout. It is a Kolsch beer. My friend went with an IPA. The beers were nice and cold, a good pour. Very happy with our selection. My only upgrade was I did wish they had something a little more fruit forward or an interesting sour but didn't see anything like that. What I did try though was refreshing and hit the spot. The views from the bar were nice. Windows so you could see outside and inside they had different sports / snowboarding videos playing. Bathrooms were clean and overall it was a well kept place. Staff were very very nice and friendly. We felt comfortable at the bar and were checked on an appropriate amount. Loved that even when it wasn't too busy they made good use of their down time and acknowledged the customers. Another great perk to this brewery is they do have some pretty cool merch and Mammoth centered clothing. My husband and I came here for lunch and we ordered the Huckleberry Sour beer and we shared the Baked Lil Piggy Mac and Cheese, Sierra Slaw, Banh Mi Sandwich, and Hot Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Fries. I don't normally like sour beer but I enjoyed the Huckleberry Sour. It was only slightly sour which I liked. All the food came out quickly and it all tasted good.
