After a long day of hiking (or snowboarding and skiing during the winter months) you always crave a delicious burger and beer - and no place is more quintessential to Mammoth, than Mammoth Brewing. I highly recommend the Damn Good Burger if you're looking for a nice and FAT burger to slam down your gullet. I only got the single, and I was really full. From there, my gf and I got the specialty beer flight, and I think this would be the best value if you'd like to try all their specialties before landing on your favorite (it's HUGE) We also got the chicken BBQ flatbread, very crispy, but not a whole lot of protein in my opinion- still very good. Service was quick, and you can use olive QR codes to order everything, which makes things a lot quicker for the more tech savvy folks out there. So rude. It wasn't very busy so we thought we'd stop in and get something to go. We went in and not one person even acknowledged us. We saw a menu on display so we looked at it for a while, while waiting. Still no-one came to help us. Then another couple came in and they waited, and walked around thinking (like we did, but we were wanting to order to go) to go around to the center area. However a very rude, and loud, server YELLED at them that they were on the wrong side and to go away. Like really!? You guys have no clear signage to tell us what we're supposed to do. Seat ourselves, wait to be seated? They were so embarrassed they left. We waited a couple more minutes for someone to come take our order, or even acknowledge that we were there, but noone ever did, so we also left. If they were busy maybe I'd understand more but there was no reason for us being totally ignored and the server being blatantly rude to that couple. I was really disappointed. After a long day of hiking, I was craving a nice, big veggie burger. I was so excited to see the veggie burger on the menu (the only reason we came here). We ordered inside. Veggie burger and fries. When my food came out... fries were cold (like really cold) and the veggie burger was burnt (like really charred burnt). Completely inedible. A waitress took it back to the kitchen to have it remade. The next veggie burger was a different burger. Not the one I ordered. So then she took it back for a second time to have it remade correctly. This is my go to brewery/restaurant when I visit my son and daughter in law. Not just one visit but as many as I can get in. There may be snow in the morning which is another good excuse to have a burger and beer. The foot is outstanding. Service is always top notch and I usually go before the larger crowd comes in later in the afternoon. Mammoth Brew Co has a limited menu for gluten free but they do have a cheat sheet behind the bar with GF options and note what works for an allergy rather than preference. I had the burger with the GF bun, and when you ask for GF they also remove the bacon beer jam. I asked about cross contamination when grilling the bun and the server said he'd make a note on the order. I was a little nervous but felt fine after so I think they did a good job. In town with old friends and we needed a place that would accommodate 12 and a dog. Tall order. Not for Mammith Brewing.They hooked us up in a great way! We put our names in and we didn't have to wait very long at all. We got sent to two long tables out on the patio that were PERFECT for teenagers... tables 6 and 7. If you know you know LOL My son and I both had the Banh Mi sandwich and it was AMAZING. I'm not exaggerating. I love banh mis but this one was so memorable. I hope they still have it on the menu when we go back to Mammoth! The hubs shared the Golden Fish and Chips with my daughter. His only complaint is that he didn't get it on his own. Really happy I got to try Mammoth Brewing as it's a great spot to stop for a beer and snacks. We came early enough before the lunch rush and were able to snag us a seat at the bar. This is definitely a popular spot and understandably so. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Since outside was primarily families and we were looking for a different vibes we wandered inside and were impressed. Nice tables and a long bar top to sit at. The bar was cozy and not too busy so we sat here. We were greeted right away and staff were very friendly and attentive during our stay. We were impressed by their extensive dining menu with lots of appetizers and mains, however, we just had lunch somewhere else so opted to stick with beers. I'd like to come back for food next tim though as the neighboring tables dishes looked good. For beers there were a lot of choices. I went with one of their special which was called Pink Trout. It is a Kolsch beer. My friend went with an IPA. The beers were nice and cold, a good pour. Very happy with our selection. My only upgrade was I did wish they had something a little more fruit forward or an interesting sour but didn't see anything like that. What I did try though was refreshing and hit the spot. The views from the bar were nice. Windows so you could see outside and inside they had different sports / snowboarding videos playing. Bathrooms were clean and overall it was a well kept place. Staff were very very nice and friendly. We felt comfortable at the bar and were checked on an appropriate amount. Loved that even when it wasn't too busy they made good use of their down time and acknowledged the customers. Another great perk to this brewery is they do have some pretty cool merch and Mammoth centered clothing. My husband and I came here for lunch and we ordered the Huckleberry Sour beer and we shared the Baked Lil Piggy Mac and Cheese, Sierra Slaw, Banh Mi Sandwich, and Hot Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Fries. I don't normally like sour beer but I enjoyed the Huckleberry Sour. It was only slightly sour which I liked. All the food came out quickly and it all tasted good. Bon me was was adequate. 3 I really liked my burger I give it a 5 . I love the root beer that was the Sasparilla . I highly recommend. You don't have a waiter or service you go up to the bar and you can order or you do it through the app and they scan it and then they bring it to you so you don't get like typical service . Every time I go to Mammoth Brewing, it's a new experience for me. I never even knew they had pool tables in the basement until yesterday! The beer? Fantastic. Try the double hazy IPA or Huckleberry Sour. The food? Surprisingly great!!! The flatbreads are seed oil free and have a sour dough base. The ingredients are all listed online when you scan the barcode to order. I love that they use olive oil instead of a seed oil. I was very impressed with the pepperoni flatbread, add ranch and hot honey (iykyk)! The service is always delightful. Bartenders remember your beer orders and the food comes fairly fast. Please make sure to get there early as it does get slammed on the weekends. If you can't find a seat, you can always take some of their beer to-go! read more

Ordered the stacked pepperoni flat bread pizza and it was delish! When it was brought out we asked for ranch dressing to dip our pizza in while enjoying. This place is busy, busy, busy which means the beer and food must be good. And they were! Dog friendly with plenty of tables to sit at outside or if you don't bring a furry friend there's plenty of seating inside as well. Every server/employee we dealt with was friendly, professional and more than accommodating. We stopped by on a night when they had a reggae fest or something and it was a good time. One of my glasses has a crack in it, when I told the servers, she looked at me like, what do you want me to do? A bit of silence, but asked her to replace it. The flights were ok, a bit warm. My family and I have been going here the last 5 years on our annual trip to mammoth. We have never had an issue until this year. We have always brought our two French bulldogs with us as the patio is dog friendly. This year was no different until the server, Missy, brought out some food to the table. She came up behind my dog and startled her by accident. My French bulldog barked and lunged towards her but was restrained by my husband holding the leash. She immediately yells "omg that scared me" my husband apologizes and she continues getting louder and creating a scene. Asking if our dog is ok and reprimanding us that she can't allow a dog on the patio if they're going to react that way. She continues speaking over my husband saying " is she ok?, are you sure, are you sure" all while being aggressive and getting louder escalating the situation and antagonizing the dog further. I finally interject because she won't stop and is making it worse and tell her we understand, we will leave. She turns to the host, in front of a crowded patio of over 50 people and yells "WATCH THOSE PEOPLE". It was completely humiliating and outrageous. As I held back tears from the scene made, I helped my husband load my family and dogs into the car and went back in to ask for a manager. Missy standing behind the bar with a smirk on her face when she sees me telling the bartender what just happened starts whispering to a coworker. I stop and let her know how incredibly rude and inappropriate her handling of the situation was. Her demeanor completely changed in front of her coworkers and she was apologetic, a complete personality shift from what just happened outside. I end up calling the manager who was not on duty that day. By this time he has been informed on their end of the situation. Turns out missy completely fabricated her side of the story and went as far as saying my dog bit her! A complete LIE! As a dog owner, an accusation such as this by this type of person can cost a dog their life and is highly concerning she would say something like that. So if you bring your dogs there, beware of this. The manager said there were two eye witnesses that said my dog bit her, one being a coworker. This is a lie because 1- it never happened and 2- no other co workers were there. It wasn't until she made a scene that attention was drawn. Also, why wasn't an incident report made then? Why in my confrontation with her did she never say "your dog bit me"? Because it never happened! The manager was apologetic and sympathetic to the ridiculous scene Missy caused but when my husband and I returned a couple days later without the dogs the bartender who helped me was super stand offish and not welcoming. It was clear we aren't welcome there. This place used to be such a special place for us and this experience completely ruined that day for us. Not sure we will ever return back. Food is great though ------------------ UPDATE As you can see the manager has responded in a very "professional" manner. Professionalism isn't something I have found common in mammoth. Let's note he was not on site that day for any of this. Yelp was created for situations such as this, to give patrons an opportunity to share their experiences. Odd he would expect me to do anything other than this and keep the situation "private". I stand by my entire review and you can form your opinion based on the unhinged response from their manager on this post. Maybe if your employees understood hospitality, reviews like this wouldn't be necessary. And yeah I'm sure your reviewing of your dog policy has everything to do with my dog who DID NOT bite your employee and nothing to do with the ones who have as you stated happened twice already this week. Also, you are also clearly delulu- I reached out to you and you returned my call... not sure how you got my number without me contacting you first. Looks like the employees here clearly take after their manager and have an obscured sense of reality. As a manager you should know the difference between trash talking and leaving a review of my experience at your establishment. It's not my job or concern to protect your reputation. The fact that you're interpreting this as "trash talking" instead of what it is, a review of MY EXPERIENCE (which you were not present for and clearly take what your employees say as bible). As a manager / business owner you could do better by taking it as constructive criticism and an opportunity to do better. Went here to eat with my family on a Saturday night. There was a small wait, but you can go downstairs where there are tables and games or go to the bar. The bathroom I went into wasn't clean and smelled. We were sat at a table with metal stools, not the worst, and family style sharing a table with another family. Here is where it's all a little less than expected. First you order food from your phone or you can walk up to the bar. I ordered from my phone. They automatically added 20% tip before I received any service at all. You get your own water at a hydration station and there isn't any ice. I was able to change my tip amount to 15% without a problem, but still pretty strange. The server brought us our food and we never saw her again. My boys had fish and chips and the fries were really bad. Either stale or over fried or frozen and then fried but really bad. I tried from all three different people at the table and they were all bad. I know it's bougie Mammoth, but $26 for two small pieces of fish and terrible fries was not worth it. My wife had a small Irish salad and she loved it. We all had some Mac and cheese and it was pretty good. It's made with beer and has a hint of the beer flavor, but it was a little greasy. I had a flatbread pizza which wasn't really flatbread, kind of thick and chewy for flatbread, but overall okay. I'm a little annoyed that I payed a 15% tip on service that I didn't get, up front, and nobody to speak with about the terrible fries and meh food. I wanted a little box for my leftover pizza, had to walk to the bar to ask, and he pointed to a table where there was a stack of them. More self service, I should have tipped myself. Unfortunately, the female bartender/server, a blonde woman wearing an orange shirt and a hat, was extremely rude throughout the interaction. Mammoth Brewing is a staple in the Mammoth area and distributes their beers widely in the Sierras. We stopped in for a pre-lunch drink and snack. The ordering process here is a bit complex. You can either order using a QR code or by walking up to the bar. Either way they deliver to your table. There is both upstairs and downstairs dining as well as a nice beer garden and a huge merch shop. Once we ordered, which didn't take long at the bar, our food came out in minutes. The lil sweeties were great. They are basically sweet potato tater tots with an awesome chipotle mayo. I also ordered a custom beer flight with some of their staples and some seasonal options. Everything was good. Mammoth doesn't brew anything too crazy, but does a good job at what they choose to brew. Came here to catch a Laker game and Kings game while on vacation and stumbled upon this brewery. The ambiance was pretty chill there are 2 floors to it so you can hang on the bottom and have a drink kind of bar area or you can go upstairs to open seating long benches that are shared as well just FYI but we don't mind it it was just two of us. They have a scan code to order your drinks and a separate one for food and they come out fast the drinks and food so they have a good system going on. The food that we got was good but not wow. I got their Birria Tacos and they were good but nothing special. Their onion rings were good but the batter was a bit different from usual onion rings and they served them with 2 dipping sauces that were different but good the chipotle one was my favorite. Their selection of beer was great and I was happy they had Hard Kombucha that's my favorite so I give this place props for having that for those who prefer this over beer. Their bathrooms were clean they are small but they kept them very clean. They had a cool water station you can feel free to grab on your own as well. Cups were there and it's self serve instead of having to wait for someone to serve you.
