    Basil Fried Rice

Rarely a long wait at this place! The service was fast but there were not too many customers in house, maybe one other party at lunchtime on a Saturday. We ordered: - Basil fried rice: pretty solid. Tastes a lot better than it looks, the basil was super fragrant and nice. Large portions also, my friend easily took home half of it for later. - Herbal crispy chicken: like an elevated orange chicken? Very crispy and marinated. I got this with a side of turmeric rice, the turmeric was very subtle. I also took home a large portion of this for later bc their portions are so large! I can see myself ordering takeout for their fried rice in the future!!

Yummyyyy! The food here was classic comfort Thai food. I was super hungry after Skiing, so I ordered the drunken noodles. They were delicious! The Thai tea was also really good. They were able to sit a pretty large party of around 10 people on Sunday night. The vibes are casual which is nice for a quick bite of delicious thai food. Their portions are also fantastic. They were also very nice and patient with our large group. As we were leaving they gave us spring rolls to eat later. I probably waited too long because they didnt taste very good after being refrigerated, but it was still very nice of them. I will come back here if I ever want quick and yummy Thai food.

We went to Manao on a Friday night after a beautiful day of hiking. We were looking for something to refuel and warm us up. This place was busy but had a couple open tables. We ordered at the register and were given a number for our order. I had the boat noodle soup which was a spicy beef soup. It was tasty and I added a lot more spicy sauces to get it to my spice preference. My friend ordered the wings and they were decent but nothing too crazy. Great place for a quick no frills meal.

I think I would do a 3.5 for this, it was good and being able to try a variety helped solidify that ranking. Got pad Thai, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, spring rolls, fresh rolls and pandan sticky rice. The pad see ew was saucy and fairly standard (ate the most of this), the rice was standard as in flavors you'd expect but I wanna point out the rice was fluffier here with big chunks of pineapple, the pad Thai was a little bland for me, pandan sticky rice had hints of pandan, spring rolls were a little bland and the fresh rolls were full of vegetables and bursting (the sauce was really good). Requested a side of chili oil since there was no option to modify the spice levels for each dish online, the chili IS MOUTH NUMBING.

Good food, quick service in a cozy setting. It's a self service kinda place. Place an order and wait at the table and food will arrive soon. The service is quick even on a busy day. The veggies are freshly prepared and taste good. Apart from plain white rice, I liked everything else I ordered. I will recommend them to everybody looking for a quick stop for a decent Thai food.

It's a simple ordering process! Come up and place an order and you can dine in as you please. Got the pumpkin curry it was seasonal and subbed the rice for rice noodles! It was so good! The appetizers are all solid!

Love this place for Thai street food. I think they need to start adding ice to their waters. It's lunchroom style so you order at counter and find a seat type place. Nice and laid back.

This is my second time here. The most delicious Thai food I've had in Seattle. You order up front cash or card. After ordering, you'll receive a cup of for water and utensils and find your own table. I came here at noon on a Thursday and it was not busy. I appreciate the blend of modern street food vibes with contemporary eatery. Plenty of vegan options to choose from. While some menu items have meat by-default, there is a green V icon to show what can be made vegetarian/vegan. Make sure you check menu for default spice level. I've had both the Basil Fried Rice and Phad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) which were both knock-your-socks-off delicious! My noodle dish today was perfectly charred and flavorful. I will be back here again very soon.

Located in Capitol Hill, Manao Thai Street is a causal chill spot for a bite to eat for good convo w/ a friend. it's conventionally located on a corner with outdoor seating. It quiet enough to carry on a deep conversation. You order at the counter, take a seat and they'll bring the food to you. The food was good. Finding parking was tough:/ good luck with that.

A fast causal Tha place, I really liked the way they had the spice on the side so you could make it as spicy as you'd like . I got a pad khee mao and my friend got a pad see ew and both were great . Service was pretty good and ambiance was very cute for a more casual spot .

Crispy Pork Belly was great, added some chili pepper to it at the table; very dank. Their Thai Tea was bomb too. Cool place, not too busy or cramped. A little pricey.

This was the first stop when I visited Seattle. The Tom yum soup was my favorite thing on the menu. The service was fast but we did not go during rush hour. The restaurant was clean and quiet and definitely good for small groups.

The savory fillings also blended super well with the wrapping and were absolutely delicious. Khao Soi was good too but I wasn't impressed- the noodles were not cooked too well and kinda stuck together, but it wasn't major. However seating was a bit confusing as you had to find an empty table and the server would bring you the food. When it was busy the line and wait got messy and it's possible to get your food without having a table so I don't recommend coming here when it's super busy There were around 8 tables and some bar seatings. You can see staff making the food over the counter and the ventilation was done well even with all the stir fry and cooking.

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
