Sales great! Delivery unacceptable. Got quite good deal with discount and freebies on a purchase on a mid-range mattresses. Great customer service at the store. However, the delivery facility just called on the day (today) of delivery and said that their truck had broken down and cannot delivery the mattresses until the following day (tomorrow). Hey, its your problem with your truck, not mine. I have already undo all my bedding/sheets/pillows ready for the new mattresses. Now I have to redo them all to get through tonight, and re-undo them tomorrow...WTF!!! And who knows what excuse they might have tomorrow to delay the delivery again. I just lost confidence in trusting them. read more

We had been in search of a mattress for about a year and just couldn't decide. One weekend we would go to to Casper, the next check out a purple bed. It was so hard to compare mattresses when we couldn't compare them one after a other. We stopped at Mancini sleep world to finally get a side by side comparison of some mattresses. We were greeted by a gentleman named Brandon. We feel like we hit the jackpot having Brandon as our sales guy. He was so knowledge and took his time to explain so many things to us that we haven't known; even though it felt like w had been researching on our own forever. He walked around the entire store explaining all the types of mattresses and the pros and cons of them all. He was a genuine person which led us to making a purchase. We have only had our mattress for two nights and both of our bodies feel so much better than they have in years. Pam was so helpful. We came in looking for a Tempur-Pedic but realized it was not in our budget. We looked at several models and ended up buying Sleepworld designs stratus elite latex and memory foam king mattress. We also ended up buying bedroom set just cause she was so helpful. Recently I purchased a bed from the Concord/Pleasant Hill Store, for a substantial amount. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly (No complaint there.) My issue didn't start until delivery time. My original scheduled time for delivery was between 5:30 - 7:30. Around 6ish, a call comes in from the Mancini's warehouse stating that their delivery truck is being being held at the weight stations and my delivery time is now 8 pm - 9 pm. A 2nd call, pushing the delivery time, even later, to 10 - 10:30 pm with two other deliveries ahead on me. I know things happen, and I understand. However, I had to be up the following morning at 4 am and now I have no bed. To make this short, I end of leaving a message for the District Manager Scott Serface, who I have yet to hear from as of today's date. I returned the bed. A scheduled pick-up date and time was given. Guess what! This delivery truck broke down and my delivery time went from 9 am - 11 am to 8 pm - 9:30 pm. Hopefully, the restocking fee of $99.95, deducted from refund, will go towards a new fleet of delivery trucks. read more

Didn't try to encourage us to get the top of the line but still showed us all the amazing features the Tempur-pedic had to offer which once experiencing, we could not turn down. My husband and I were in the market for a king sized mattress, thanks to the addition of a puppy to our family. I had purchased my full and queen mattresses from Mancini's in the past and been really happy. They had a really good deal running online that gave you a free sheet set, mattress protector, and foundation -- so we placed an order. There was a computer glitch that processed the charges on my credit card, but didn't actually place the order, and that's where John Camilleri came in. He was able to get my order placed, and even gave me a better deal for the trouble. When the mattress was delivered, we were ecstatic! That is, until I realized I had placed an order for the WRONG MATTRESS! I ordered a Shasta "Plush", instead of the Shasta "Euro-top". Rookie mistake. I called John and he was more than understanding -- he was able to get it swapped out in no-time. John's customer service is second to none. What could have been a really messy and trying situation, turned out to be an extremely easy and painless process. John stayed in touch the entire time and even followed up after our mattress was delivered to make sure that everything went smoothly. Over the years I have purchased many beds from Mancini's, always with great service and more than fair prices. Recently I purchased a bed, a recliner and a loveseat from this store and the experience was wonderful. Sang Chao and Brandon Clark were helpful, patient and very pleasant to work with, and the delivery staff was also A-1. Prices were also more than competitive with other stores. Every aspect of our purchases reinforced our very positive feelings about Mancini's in Concord. Prior to this purchase we made the mistake of purchasing a bed from Macy's. The delivery was a huge problem, asking us to wait a month for something that was in stock (Mancini's delivered the same bed on the day we purchased it), plus Mancini's price was substantially less than Macy's for exactly the same product. My wife and I were in the market for a new mattress and went to 2 other places before here. We were promptly greeted by a gentleman named John (who we came to find out was the store manager). He did the usual thing and asked what we wanted in a mattress and recommended a few to lay on/try out. Two main things happened during this visit that will bring me back here with any mattress needs. 1- There was no absolutely no pressure at all to buy the most expensive mattresses. We told him our price range, and he ran with it. (granted, we had a reasonable budget for a decent mattress). 2- We bought multiple things (mattress, adjustable base,etc...) and he gave us a great "package" deal. We left out the door with a great bundle of stuff, for a price waaaaay lower than other nearby stores. John was great to work with! read more

My family has shopped at Mancini's for years. When my boyfriend and I needed a new bedframe in a hurry, my Dad immediately suggested Mancini's for their great customer service. So we borrowed my Dad's truck as my car isn't meant for hauling and off we went! We walked in and noticed a bunch of the sales associates up front talking to each other. Instead of greeting us, they just stared. I had to ask for help. The sales associate and her manager finally assisted us, and neither of them seemed interested in helping us. When we finally found what we needed and payed, neither of them thanked us for our purchase or offered to help us out the door. They just stood at the register whispering to each other. In fact, the manager had simply thrown the box on a bed and said "it's that one." As we walked away, we heard the younger lady say, "Should we help them out?" However, it was too late, we were already out the door with an experience in customer service (or lack of!) we'll certainly never forget. If I hadn't needed a bedframe right away, and had the time, I would have gone elsewhere. We're in need of a new headboard and footboard as well. I was in need of a new bed and spoke to a sales person. I explained to her that I had a small room and needed a bed with a small footprint. Well she ended up selling me a queen frame with a full mattress...WTH? A queen is obviously larger than a full.....so, I ended up with a frame bigger than I needed and to boot the mattress moves around on the frame. The quality of the frame was poor as well....one of the support legs broke within 5 months. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a bed. read more
