Great crispy pata and lechon kawali. Meat is tender and skin is crispy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute interior and losts of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My kids loved the pancit bihon. Very flavorful. Shanhi lumpia had great flavor as well. Tastes home made. We definitely will come back again! My kids loved it that much as well. Friendly staff and very attentive. Wished the rice portion was bigger to help cut the fat.

The food was really tasty. Service was quick but it was not busy when we got there, our server was friendly. We will be back to try other dishes. It was our first visit and we were very happy.

The last time we came was two years ago when it was owned by someone else and the menu was overly ambitious with the Mexican/Filipino fusion. That didn't go so well. I heard that a new owner took over so my kid and I decided to try them out today. We got there after 2pm and the lunch rush was just dying down. The first thing I noticed was their much more focused menu of just Filipino classics. A hopeful sign. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor pretty much stayed the same sans the Mexican stuff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers were very friendly and told us to seat at a table of our choosing. Their special for the day was pinakbet, a melange of vegetables with pork belly. I decided to get that. My kid got the lechon kawali plate and I had to try their pork dinuguan plate, too. I have to say, I'm so glad that I gave this place another chance. The lechon kawali was perfectly done, crunchy skin and tender meat. The pinakbet is how my dad used to make it. I'm glad they stayed authentic and didn't skimp on the bittermelon. The dinuguan was tender and well balanced. I will have to come back to try the rest of the menu. Everything we ordered stayed in its true Filipino authentic, delicious, and reminiscent of home. I highly recommend.

Authentic Filipino food and delicious! I am a regular diner because I am always satisfied with the food.

I had such an amazing experience . I had the pork belly with rice and egg (Tocilog), and it was incredible -- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I felt so welcomed and well taken care of from the moment I walked in. You can truly feel the warmth. I highly recommend this place.

Truly authentic Filipino grub! And always a pleasant experience with the food servers. They had unique shape to the banana lumpia, which made it more crunchy. Yummy!

It was our first time at the Manila Couve and will definitely be back! Really good Filipino food! Friendly staff and would highly recommend.

I wanted so bad to love this place. I have been looking for decent Filipino restaurant since I moved in the PDX area in 2012, I haven't found that yet, unfortunately :( Escabeche: the fish is not fried thoroughly, the sauce is nothing like the escabeche sauce. Dinugunan: mediocre. Nothing special. Sinigang: does not taste like sinigang. It's not sour at all! Crispy pata: This would have been good if they added more salt. It has the perfect crispiness to it. Not sure if I'm coming back :(

Yesterday we went to try Manila couve used to be Kuya's kitchen. And it was surprisingly delicious the Pancit was amazing and the Turons were even better - now here is the kick ...... if you are starving Do not come here - there is only 1person in the kitchen and one floating in between and 1 server also they made the food to order nothing pre cook so it takes time to get your food but all good comes to those that wait cause once we got our food it was delicious. Definitely will be back - Chef seems to have big Plans for this place menu wise so I am excited and ready to try on anything she cooks !

The best Mexican food that we've found in southwest Washington, based on our first visit. We'll be back to try other menu items.

Pan + Grill K…read moreFusion serves the best black bean noodles I've had around here - rich, savory, and full of that unmistakable wok hei flavor. The pork belly is high quality and they don't skimp on the veggies. Their tangsuyuk is another standout, perfectly crispy even when coated in sauce, which is no easy feat (if you know, you know). The wasabi shrimp has a unique, addictive flavor with just the right amount of crunch. And the kimchi burger? Thoughtfully crafted with a soft brioche bun, a juicy, flavorful patty, and kimchi that really pops. Beyond the food, the hospitality makes the experience even better. Sam and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They are happy to offer recommendations, check in throughout your meal, and always greet you with a smile. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time, especially to take advantage of their lunch specials. If you are in the area, this place is an absolute must try, especially since they are always updating the menu with new dishes to try!

I didn't give it a 5 star because I was a bit disappointed with how little protein they add to their ganjjajang. First time I ordered the pork and then I ordered the seafood on another visit. The taste was amazing and authentic but I was disappointed with the pork because they give you like 6 pieces of pork and there is tiny fried pieces as well but the size of a scab lol. I love the big pieces of veggies in it but it's sad they can't do the same with the protein. Now with the seafood version it was the exact same thing very little protein but mountain of veggies except this time the zucchini was so tiny while they gave me giant blocks of onions again I don't mind that but it's all disproportionate. Nothing to what I have had at different Korean spots in Arizona. Everything else is amazing like their fried rice or bulgogi burgers. Their tteokboki is alright it's a niche type of dish so it won't be for everyone. It was more sweet than I like but that's just a me thing. Service was great and the ambiance was chill, quiet and cozy. We will still be returning just maybe will stop ordering the jajamyeon unfortunately.

We started with a couple Thai mules which were made with a spicy and delicious ginger beer. For food we ordered the Nem Kai from the house specials menu and, after an enthusiastic endorsement, the drunken noodles. Both dishes were amazing. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were generous. We couldn't finish so we took the leftovers home and enjoyed them the next day. I have been craving that rice dish for the past week since our visit. I will have to go back soon! The servers were attentive and helpful, even though it was closer to closing time than we thought. Restaurant was clean. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were immediately greeted and seated upon entering the restaurant. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We ordered a few appetizers to share; coconut shrimp, potstickers, chicken satay and BBQ pork fresh salad rolls. Each appetizer came with an appropriate dipping sauce. The food was good, and tasted fresh. The chicken satay was a bit dry, but the curry flavor was perfect and the peanut dipping sauce helped give it a bit of moisture. I feel like the prices were a bit steep. We only ordered one non-alcoholic beverage and 4 appetizers, and the bill was just shy of $80, with tip. I guess I didn't realize how expensive it was since last time I came for Happy Hour. Overall we were happy with our experience here; however, next time we'll make sure we hit Happy Hour for better pricing. Would recommend.
