My friends and I have been wanting to try the soft serve margaritas because why not. We ended up at Manny's for lunch. Nice establishment, nice location. The SS margaritas met our expectations. Definitely give those a try. We sat out on the patio so since the weather was decent. The margaritas were melting pretty quickly though. It wasn't very crowded, but our server was not on point. I'll just leave that there. The food was just okay. I believe my friends felt the same way. I had the lunch beef fajitas. I would definitely go again and try something different, however.

I was taken here by a good friend for a birthday lunch. FOOD: I had a mango watermelon soft serve margarita to start. It is outstanding and has plenty of alcohol in it. My main entrée were the shrimp tacos. They were also very good. I like that they do not give you a ton of chips because to me that really dampen your main entrée. I deducted one star because the fried dessert tasted like it was fried in old oil. ATMOSPHERE: the place is beautiful and airy and open. It is good to have a business lunch, take a date or even have a celebration. SERVICE: our waitress was Stephenie. She was one of the best servers I've ever had. She introduced herself immediately and was very attentive the entire time without hovering. She gets five stars alone.! TIP: I would recommend sharing one soft serve margarita. Expensive but well worth it.

The margs were good. Although you have to hmmm sip/spoon the drink fast because it drips and melts fast. 16.50 is steep also. Queso terrible, quac was good I heard. chicken fajitas were not sizzling and my flatuas were disgusting. Sorry Mannys. I love the restaurant that was there before Mannys came in. Bring it back!

The food was great, and there was plenty of space to sit inside and outside whenever we walked in on a Wednesday. They were kind about letting us sample various soft serve flavors!

The Quesabirria quesadillas were tasty! I appreciated that they weren't greasy. The soft serve marg was the star of the show! It is the perfect summer drink and was so refreshing. I got to try the mango soft serve marg, and that was also delicious! The interior was also very pretty!

Came here strictly for the soft serve margaritas, and was not disappointed. 10/10!!! Our waiter's name was Fermin, he was amazing and gave us great service. Loved the ambiance. I will be back to try their food.

A story popped up in my news feed as I was scrolling regarding Mannys new concept. More Mex Less Tex. 20 years ago, Mannys established itself as a go to Tex Mex restaurant. I guess they are branching out to follow a trend of more interior Mexican and Latin American. The restaurant itself is attractive, spacious, comfortable and well designed. Located in a multi use complex amoung the State Farm buildings off Renner rd and Central expressway, you wouldn't know it was here, unless you knew. Hence, the advertising worked as the place was busy to have opened days ago. Our waitress was obviously inexperienced but, pleasant and got the job done. The seating was comfortable with views of the restaurant broken up strategically by the designers. Nice. The menu is extensive and to my surprise had quite a bit of Tex Mex. More interior Mexican and Latin American was covered in areas like chef specials. I was keeping my consumption down or probably would have opted for the short rib. It was served one table over and looked promising. I had the mole chicken enchiladas with rice and black beans. The mole was smokier and a little darker than others around town but good. My dinning partner had Redfish tacos on corn tortillas which were also very good. Overall nothing really great or wrong with Mannys Mexican Kitchen. However,it seems to have joined the club occupied by Mi Cocina and Glorias which aren't my fave style of food. My standard is just down the street at Popasitos. Finally we agreed that while good,we probably wouldn't rush back to Mannys Mexican Kitchen. You decide for yourself when you..... Go! Good Luck Manny

New addition to cityline I definitely like the food better than the last Mexican restaurant that was there but definitely average Mexican. I work at Cityline so a co worker and myself went for lunch. They have an extensive lunch menu for $14 bucks and that's what we ordered from I had the Birria taco lunch plate Serving size is very small but perfect for me: All items were just ok. Nothing bad to say but the customer service and ambience is 5 stars for sure Free chips and 2 types of salsas I would go back to try the regular menu which is ALSO extensive with tons of choices

The reinvention of this restaurant was a good thing. Not sure if it was just a name change as I had never tried Fernando's. I will say believe the hype! They have the BEST soft serve and Texas margaritas. 1 will get you where you want to go. The food is pretty good, not the best but good. The service has always been good and accommodating. The waiters accidentally spilled a drink down my friend's back on her birthday and management made it right! I have been recommending this spot to everyone. Be prepared to wait if you do t have a reservation because they do get busy.

I stopped by on a friday afternoon and ofcourse i was here for the soft serve margaritas. Angel was our waiter and he was super attentive. This place has a real cute airy vibe. We were seated immediately. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Started with chips and salsa that was good. I had the garlic shrimp tacos which were good as well. The star of the show I tried both soft serves the guava swirl and the watermelon mango. Watermelon mango was my favorite. They said they change flavors every so often. The presentation of the drinks are beautiful. I definitely will be back when im in town.

My daughter & I love going to Manny's. The soft serve margaritas are the best! Our server was MIA & she was fantastic! Professional, courteous & very attentive! If you go ask to be seated in her section!

We came here to try the soft serve margaritas. We got this swirl of guava and pineapple.. It was delicious! The queso was very good. We ordered chicken enchiladas, and Birria tacos. The ambience was really nice and the service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend. Also make sure you make a reservation as they can get really busy!

I came here with a group from work for lunch and the consensus was the food was OK - three stars. The food is a little bit better than Fernando's, thats the place that used to be in the same spot. The decor is kind of outdated. They were actually really busy during lunchtime, which is great. I was surprised because I don't think they're the best food in city line but I'm happy for them since they're new.

Ambiance: Parking may pose some difficulty due to the presence of multiple businesses nearby. Upon entering, I was welcomed by the hostess; however, the loud music from the DJ made it challenging to communicate effectively. The entry doors remained open, which raised concerns about potential insects affecting the dining experience. Service: The staff provided a warm welcome, and our server, China, demonstrated excellent hospitality and attentiveness, readily answering all questions. Communication was somewhat impeded by the volume of the music. Additionally, I noticed that silverware and napkins were not offered prior to the meal being served. Food: I ordered wings as an appetizer and needed to request additional napkins, as well as plates suitable for sharing for which I thought this would be a standard process without asking. The margarita was served in a plastic cup rather than glassware, which was unexpected. My pasta entrée was flavorful, and the salmon shrimp Oscar was equally enjoyable. It was concerning that, although my reservation was at 8 p.m., the restaurant had already run out of sautéed cabbage, an item on the menu. I would appreciate advance notification from staff regarding unavailable dishes. Overall, the quality of food and beverages was commendable. Overall: While the restaurant offers excellent cuisine, the loud music significantly limits opportunities for conversation during dinner. I recommend this establishment to those seeking good food, but not to those looking for a quiet dining environment. There are both advantages and challenges associated with this venue, and I hope the team continued success in the future.

I love eating on the patio when possible. And the interior also is lovely. Good service, and great all gender bathrooms. The menu is wonderful for sharing. It isn't vegan but I find great options when we split plates. The only reason I dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars is that even in 100 degree weather they keep a huge service window open so the bar is accessible both inside and outside. This practice is hugely irresponsible to the environment, to the Texas power grid and residents, and to those of us paying our bill here knowing we are footing that bill.

The vibe was nice. You must make a reservation! This is what I enjoyed: Side of Lamb chops: 10/10 tender, meaty, nice smoky and sweet flavor, well seasoned. Side of Mac and cheese: 6/10 a bit dry, needs a bit more seasoning, if both of these things were not an issue it would be perfect. Oxtails and jollof rice: 10/10 oxtails were full of flavor and enjoyable. They could have been a bit more tender. Overall the flavor carried it to a perfect 10. The rice is seasoned and a bit smokey and cooked to the perfect doneness. Table bread: 9/10 puff puff style bread. They were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Brought out first and provided with every meal. It had a sweet seasoning mix on it. The mix to me was more for after dinner instead of right before the meal. Dusse mimosa: 10/10 nice and stout. I prefer Dusse over Hennessy which is what was on the menu. Jerk chicken: 10/10 flavorful wings. Jerk seasoning was there and not too spicy. Cooked just right and not dry. Collard greens: 6/10 savory flavor. I am a collard greens specialist and I prefer a sweet and hot profile. Although these are just savory they were cooked to the correct tenderness. Candied yams: 10/10 get blend of cinnamon and sweet flavor. Cooked perfectly.

For an appetizer, I started with the oxtail spring roll. I will say it leaned more toward a pot roast flavor because of all the cabbage and carrots inside. It didn't quite taste like oxtail or have much of the Jamaican flavor I was expecting, aside from the little bit of gravy served with it. For our meals, my friend ordered the Poundo Fufu with Egusi Soup and Beef, and I got the Jollof Rice with Stew Beef. The jollof rice was definitely some of the best I've had, really flavorful and the meat was tender and well done. The owner, Will, was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for other dishes to try next time. If I'm ever back in Dallas, I would definitely stop by again.
