The food and ambiance of this restaurant is very nice. The setting is quaint and low noise level. Staff were very friendly, asked for preferences and asked for feedback. It is a small restaurant so on weekends there's usually a small wait, thankfully it's in a shopping plaza so you can go shop while you wait to be texted when your table is ready. Overall the quality of the food was delicious. Full of flavor and umami that can't be beat. They do offer Thai hot which I love! The Thai Tea flight is very nice to sample a few of their drinks. Their limited time special of 4 Regions of Thailand offer a great tapa style to share with others and get a taste of different Thai areas. My favorite region was Northeast, it featured the Naem Khao Tod - which is crispy rice mixed with fermented pork, herbs, and lime- bright, tangy, and irresistibly crunchy hot basil. decided to come here last minute for dinner and when arriving I noticed that this used to be Wood Thai Cafe. After asking the staff, they said that this new restaurant is newly owned with a new menu so we were excited to try it. We got the pad Thai, lao papaya salad, and the Tom Kha soup. The flavor was really good for all food items and you don't need to add any additional fish sauce or hot sauce, since their level of spicy is pretty in tune with what you ask for. For reference we asked for medium spicy and it did taste like a true medium. parking is ample, staff is nice, and it can get pretty busy during peak times read more

Solid 4 stars. Located on the street side of a strip center, the establishment inside exceeds its exterior location factor. The restaurant itself appears like it can accommodate multiple sittings so hopefully the staff can keep up with the demand on busy days. (It was empty when we went at late lunch so I can't really say how fast their turnover would be normally) Ordered the roti curry, duck curry, and drunken noodles. I can really appreciate the attention to detail and flavor each item had. It's a bit different than your standard Thai restaurant in the food profile. The roti curry was good. Messy but good. The curry itself got cold pretty fast but we didn't get to eat it first since it came out the same time as the entrees. So it was a side thought at that point. Flavor was really good though. The duck curry had plenty of duck meat so at least they didn't skimp out on that since it was one of their pricier dishes. It was well presented and as good as all the other dishes we tried. The drunken noodles was also very well done. Perfectly spicy, smokey, with tons of flavor (very herby). Probably had more flavour than any other drunken noodles I've tried before. Only con was I felt it was a little light on the noodles itself. But all the other ingredients was well balanced. I would try again. I'd say it's pretty well priced out. You get a little more flavor and attention in each dish vs volume, but well worth it. Only other little negative was I feel the seats were kind of dirty and we were in the corner so not sure if the rest of the restaurant is similar. Authentic Thai restaurant with great service and plenty of parking. The restaurant door might be a little hard to find at first but it's located adjacent to the Autozone. The restaurant itself is spacious but cozy, feels pretty modern, and has a neat rack of some Thai snacks at the entrance. Staff were very attentive and nice! One of our friends was trying a few of the dishes for the first time and wanted something less tart or sweet and one of the staff members took the time to go through some menu items to fit her needs and even offered to do light sauce for her pad Thai which she really enjoyed! I ordered the pad thai with chicken, my partner ordered the crab fried rice, we had the tom yum and roti with curry and finished things off with a mango sticky rice. Pad Thai was solid! Very flavorful and chicken was not dry. The roti was crispy and paired beautifully with the curry. The tom yum warmed our souls on a rainy day and had a really good balance of heat and tartness. Crab fried rice had large chunks of actual crab, very flavorful. Mango sticky rice was great! Despite it being out of mango season, the mango was still sweet, beautifully crafted and sliced, and with a perfect amount of condensed milk. The Thai tea flight is what mainly caught my eye when looking through Yelp and I'm so glad we got it! There was not a single drink I didn't like on the flight. The lemon tea was great, Thai tea was solid, the lychee lime drink was refreshing and cut through our savory food, the Phuket is a darker Thai tea which you can definitely taste is a stronger flavor but it was still good! My partner didn't like the darker Thai tea more than the regular tea but I think it was absolutely wonderful to try given I've never seen it on a menu as an option before so it was a treat! I was curious to try Manon after seeing it on social media--it reminded me a lot of Manao in Tustin, another trendy Thai spot known for their khao soi. Manon has a similar aesthetic: modern decor, clean tables, and a sleek, upscale vibe. Staff was friendly when we walked in. Plenty of parking, and there was no wait on a Friday at 6pm. The place was light to moderately busy. We came as a group of four and ordered the dried khao soi, regular khao soi, duck curry, roti with curry, and mango sticky rice. One of my friends asked for the mango sticky rice to come out with the meal, but it ended up arriving mid-late meal instead. They also got my order wrong despite the server repeating everything back correctly. We were brought two regular khao sois instead of a dry one. When I asked about it, the server said "let me check," left, and didn't come back for a while. I considered following up, but decided to wait. Eventually, the correct dish came, but it took a pretty long time and by then my friends were already almost through their meals. As for the food, it looked great but didn't really wow me. The khao sois tasted like standard curry noodles--nothing particularly memorable. The noodles were a bit overcooked and fell apart too easily. However, the crispy noodles on top were nice, the chicken leg was tender, and I liked the pickled veggies that came in the dish. My friends weren't too impressed by their dishes either. Prices are on the higher side, which is expected for a nicer Thai restaurant, but aside from the presentation and ambiance, there wasn't much that would draw me back. read more

I've tried the pad Thai, yellow curry, and tom kha soup and thought everything was delicious. You can customize your spice level for all the dishes, which as a spicy food fan, I appreciate. I got the spiciest level for all the food I ordered and I personally thought it was the perfect spice level where I could taste it but it wasn't overpowering. The presentation of all the food here was also very nice. I've come for both weekday and weekend dinners and regardless of the day, it can get crowded, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you can. The store itself is modern, yet cozy. Service here is very friendly! Came here with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon and food was really yummy and presented nicely. We ordered filet mignon pad see ewe, Thai tea flight, and a regular basque cheesecake which was served with warm brown sugar boba.. I've never eaten cheesecake with boba, but the sweet warm brown sugar taste of the boba complimented the slightly tart flavor of the cheesecake! Of the tea flights, I preferred the Phuket Thai tea, which is the most "Thai tea" tasting in my opinion. Service was attentive and the ambience is almost like a cafe. Absolutely loved this place! As a regular Thai foodie, I really enjoyed the fusion style they had going on. We started with the Thai tea flight which was fun especially with a group of four and had some great recommendations from our servers. As soon as we walked in, a male waiter walked by us without saying a word. Then another female waitress did the same thing. Both walked by a few times without saying anything. We waited for another 5 to 10 minutes. There was a young waiter who walked up the cash register, I indicated to him that I have a party of three. The young male waiter looked and continued doing his thing without acknowledging our presence. We finally walked out when the first male waiter walked in front of me and continued doing his thing without saying a word. I don't tolerate this type of attitude and bad customer service. I appreciate the classic dishes they carry alongside some more unique dishes you don't see in more traditional Thai restaurants. Nothing to criticize -Thai papaya salad: I devoured the papaya salad, it was so good. Warning though, the mild is pretty spicy. I originally ordered medium spice and the waiter warned me that customers complain that medium is super spicy. I love my spice but to be safe I ordered mild and thank goodness for the warning. The mild was spicccccyyyy but right at the enjoyable level of spice. It comes with cabbage and wrapping the papaya salad in cabbage helped tame down the spice. -roti curry: my husband is a sucker for roti. This dish is also solid. My hubby and kids really enjoyed it. It was crispy all around. I just wish roti was slightly more affordable but we can't help but order it as an appetizer every time -shrimp pad Thai: hit all my preferences I have for pad Thai. Good bold flavor, saucy, good level of veg mixed in and the shrimp were big and plump! Definitely will continue to be our go to dish -grilled pork jowl: it was grilled very nicely. I would say less crispy than I normally cook it myself but appreciated the evenness of cook throughout all the pieces. My husband loveddddd the dipping sauce because of the uniqueness but my feelings are mixed. It tasted like a spicy red Mexican salsa mixed with Asian seasoning. If you are going for a high protein meat dish, I would recommend this one. -Thai tea flight: I liked the variety of the options but I think I'll just do a regular Thai tea moving forward. I thought it would be a flight of the brown Thai tea drinks but two of them were tea based drinks from Thailand. Still if you like to try a variety of drinks, I would suggest getting it one time to see which drink you personally like best. Honestly, this spot doesn't get nearly enough attention probably because it's tucked away in a random plaza next to an AutoZone with not much else around. Roti Curry Dip - I live for a good roti, and this is hands-down the best in OC. Not only do they actually serve it (rare enough), but they do it well. Could've easily eaten two servings on my own. 9/10 Pad Thai with Tofu - Probably one of the best Pad Thais I've had. Perfectly seasoned, with that ideal balance of savory, sweet, and tamarind tang. There's really no service or checking in on tables, so we had to wait 15 minutes before we received our water and even longer for our orders to be taken. The same case when we tried to flag someone down for the bill and for it to be collected. However, everyone was clearly trying their best to keep up. The kitchen is efficient as every dished arrived extremely quickly after our order was sent. Overall, great place for a casual get-together with fairly good food.
