These guys are great! I went in for a routine oil change and even though they were swamped with work, they got to it right away and performed an overall check-up on my car. They provided detailed feedback on the inspection--much more detail than I've gotten anywhere else. Not to mention every single person I interacted with from the mechanics in the garage to the guy at the front desk were extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful. I totally trust these guys--they didn't try to sneak anything past me. I came in thinking someone might try to get me to pay for a bunch of additional repairs (my car is getting pretty old and I'm a young female--I've seen it tried countless times at other places) but they actually complimented me on the state of my car and said keep up the good work. Whew! What a relief to find this place! Outstanding service. The guys I met were so nice and honest. They knew what they were doing and didn't try to hike my bill, in fact I received a discount for being a neighbor. Average prices, $30 oil change quick in and out visit and good company while waiting for my service to be completed. As a female it was extremely refreshing to be net with honesty, integrity and kindness. These qualities are unfortunately so hard to come by in the world of auto mechanics and body shops. Today i was met with respect and for once wasn't treated like I didn't know anything about cars. For as long as I live in Denver, this is where I'll take my car for maintenance and repair. It's so nice to find a mechanic that I trust! They are honest and competent. I took my car in after my check engine light had mysteriously gone on and then off again a few days later. When there were no diagnostic codes, they looked over the car, found nothing wrong, and didn't even charge me. I will continue to use Maple as my regular mechanics. read more

My 74-year old mom took her car there. They claimed to repair the distributor, then not a week later the symptoms recurred. I took her car somewhere else to have a diagnostics test done (withOUT telling them any history)...and guess what? The distributor STILL fails. What they do is they say "we can replace the part of the distributor that's broken or we can replace the whole thing" The price difference is about $600 vs $850. My mom is on social security that's being reduced and I'm struggling to work in construction right now. So we - as many - went along with the first option to "just repair the broken part" (the coil in the distributor).....and now they of course think they have the convenient out, but we as consumers can see through their b.s. We took it in for the distributor, they worked on it, and it failed less than a week later and since. PERIOD. Also, the symptoms we took it for stalling and then not starting back up sometimes. As these symptoms persisted after we paid Motion Automotive to fix it - they failed to repair what they were legally obligated to repair! I tried to speak with Mike about it, but he claimed because I got a 2nd opinion and had diagnostics run elsewhere (AFTER Motion failed to repair it)...he thinks their off the hook. As a transplant, finding a reliable, honest and talented auto mechanic is not easy. A friend suggested Maple to me for an oil change- not a huge repair or anything, but the service i received was excellent. They inspected my vehicle and gave me a thorough report of how it was running, what repairs I should expect in the future, as well as quotes. Most garages won't even look at anything but what they are fixing, so I was surprised and so happy to know that my old little Subaru is running just fine! This place is a go-to for me! read more

Since I had such a great experience last time, I came back to check out some squealing on a different car. They still have great customer service, but they charged me $27 bucks just to check my brakes. They told me I only needed new pads, rotors were fine, and they wanted to charge me over $400!! I decided to go to a parts store and get pads with lifetime warranty and installed them myself for $175 instead. read more

I have had what most would call a lemon of a car, so I have frequent may shops and honestly this is the best. Once I had made the decision to buy a new car, I have gone here for servicing. The great thing about Maple, is I never feel taken advantage of because I am female. I always call around to get an idea of what the price would be for a service and Maple always beats prices! (and no, I don't mention what others have quoted me) I would HIGHLY recommend this place, I have always called day of and have NEVER had a problem with them fixing what ever issue day of. Brought me car in to have the oil changed & tires filled. Everything went well, and the mechanic stated he would give me the Yelp discount price- but from the guy in front of me, made it sound like the price has gone up a bit. He advised me that my alternator belt needs to be replaced soon along with 2 other things- and soon. The other two were correct- but when my car died, and I called "My Mechanic" to come replace it- assuming that would be the case, they notified me-via e-mail- that replacing 1 shouldn't be done- since both belts had to be removed & its best to do both at the same time. After some researching- I found this to be correct & scheduled the visit. When he came out & pulled off the cover, he showed me that both belts looked fine... But that my battery wasn't strong enough to start the car, even though the lights were coming on. After jumping the car, he sent me to O'Reilly to get the battery replaced. They did not check power steering & provided incorrect information. Did not check battery power. It is unclear if anything else had been missed. I will not be returning here. They cost me an extra $70 in diagnostic check to find out something they should have been able to tell me with a routine battery check that I've had previous shops do while changing the oil. read more

I have worked with both Maple and the competing car shop down the street since I moved to Denver 2+ years ago. I have been happy with both, but one time my car started overhearing and I called the other car shop to try to get them to look at it as an overheating issue is very serious in a car! They told me no, but Maple told me that I could drop it off the next day at 8am. 9 months later and my car starts overhearing again. I called them the morning of and they let me drop it off at 9am the same day. They make me feel like they care about my car care. I will continue to go to Maple and will be sad when I finally move out of the area because I will have to find a new garage to go to. read more

My brake light was consistently lit. The garage said it just needed brake fluid, didn't charge me, and asked that I come back in a few weeks to be sure no leak was overlooked. Maple Garage is just an incredible place to get honest, friendly and extremely reasonable service for your car. I went by for a simple oil change the other day and Terry bent over backwards to not only give me a great price, but it's their standard procedure to check out your car for any other problems and give you advice for no extra charge. They pressure washed my car's underside for a possible oil leak and provided no-pressure advice about how to keep my heap running for a long time in the future. I also met one of the owners, Jerrod, who was extremely friendly and appreciative for the miniscule business I had brought them. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place. I called in to get a quote for an oil change, and was very happy to hear it could be done for just $30, and it could be done within 48 hrs. Being not very car savy myself, I braced myself for scare tactic sales pitches, and extra fees. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find the guy at the counter very down to earth, honest, and straightforward. Not only was my car ready to go in the quoted time, but they did a general safety inspection, and gave me a heads up of what maintenance needs to be done in the future. I'm the type of person who never really writes reviews and I usually take them with a grain of salt, because I think most are catalyzed by a negative experience. However, maple garage has brought me to yelp as the result of a great experience. The gentleman who helped me at the front desk was very kind and made an effort to run through everything that had been inspected once the mechanics were finished. Just from other conversations I overheard while waiting (it took ~1hour for everything in the Groupon, so not bad at all), it was very apparent that this isn't the type of opportunistic garage that's going to try and convince you that your car is on the verge of collapse any time they can find something wrong. Can't speak highly enough about Maple Garage! I originally started going there when I lived in the neighborhood, and their very reasonably priced oil changes made it easy to maintain my car. When I moved out of the neighborhood, I tried to replace them out of convenience, but there was just no way to do so. I continue bringing my car here and they always are thorough and uphold high service standards--hard to find these days. They are trustworthy, do a great job of explaining what's going on, and do not do the typical high pressure sales that most car mechanics do. They've never surprised me by adding something to my bill and I find them very reasonable overall (they are happy to quote a job for you so you can plan accordingly for your next visit). They tell whats wrong with your car and give you a fair estimate. I have taken my car in a few times and they do a thorough inspection and honor their work.
