Fabulous restaurant for an after office get together. It was an effort to find the restaurant once we parked. Parking was validated with 50%. Nice perk. We had reservations and we were immediately seated. Ambience and staff were fabulous. Love the decor of the restaurant. Very eye catching. Our group loved everything. I tried a lot of new Cuban food and it was delicious. We had a variety of appetizers. I have to admit that when my fish arrived looking at me, I did struggle initially. However, I was told that if the fresh catch was Snapper, I should order. It was so divine. The fish was perfectly cooked, seasoned very well and melted on my tongue. It reheated really well in the oven the next day. We definitely will be back. Loved it! read more

I have been here several times, from Birthday dinner to casual dinner to lunch or just pasing by and had a drink type of visit. Is AMAZING! The place is beautiful, is like a Hotel bar from an 1960 hotel from an old movie... the menu is not very big but the food is delicious, most of thei food is grilled using Marabu charcoal from cuba, the food presentation is great and the meat and fish is fresh and tasty. The cuban style drinks are very good and they have a decent amount of alcohol unlike many restaurants in Miami you get a good amount of booze for your price and a high quality mixology drink. Their desserts are cuban sized and house made so is a must do! They validate parking and seating at the bar is highly recommended. read more

The ambiance was so cute! Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends, the music was good and not too loud either; staff is lively and our server Jenny was very attentive. The food was delicious, not too heavy yet flavorful. My fave had to be the tropical ceviche and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was amazing. The hint of fruit with almost a flan-like texture, I want it all over again!! Also, gotta say, the over all service is great, everyone was helping each other out and genuinely looked like they enjoyed working there. I highly recommend coming for drinks. The food was just okay, meeting expectations. The tuna tostadas were my favorite. The sliders came with very tiny fries that I've never seen before, which was interesting. Our friend comes regularly for the salmon, which was cooked well and comes with nice sides. The croquetas and ceviche were pretty good, nothing too special! The server was *too attentive*!! She checked in almost every 5 minutes without fail, and it was becoming a bit much. She even asked us if we'd like to order anything after the kitchen had closed, and we said "didn't you say the kitchen already closed?" And she was like oh yeah, sorry you can't order anything. Marabu is a nicely decorated modern Cuban spot in Brickell city center. It has a really cool ambiance that is an inside/outside hybrid making it feel airy and fresh. Highly recommend starting out with some of their croquetas, they are top notch quality and flavor. The lobster tacos are tiny little things but they are tasty as well. Their ceviche is nicely presented as it comes in a coconut shell and has a lot of fruity/citrusy flavors, although the overall quality was just average in my opinion. If you are coming to have some drinks as well, the marabu mojito and the marabu mule are the way to go. The mule is essentially a Moscow mule but you can taste the Cuban inspired spin it has. For main courses, you can't go wrong with the vaca frita, decent portion size and just good. Ask for some of their green sauce to go on the side with that. The service was fine, but it was pretty slow, so don't expect to have a quick meal here. Overall Marabu delivers about what you'd expect for the area. It will be very pricey but it's good quality. read more
