Once again we had an amazing experience! I brought my family over for dinner since we wanted to have some quality time and celebrate an early mother's day. The food and the cocktails were amazing (like always) and the service was outstanding! Adrian (our server) did an amazing job, and I'm telling you from a server's point of view. I'm sure it could be easy to find good food around, but a service of this level is something you don't find often. From the moment we walked in the hostesses welcomed us with a great smile and attention, the managers Frank and Cinthya also passed by the table to say hi and make sure everything was perfect, and it sure was! Had lunch the other day the service was very good. And the Cuban sandwich was the best we ever had. It was huge and packed with meat it would have been enough for both of us. First time there and they didn't disappoint. We were nervous because it was a Saturday night and it was bumping (sorry ... do people even say that anymore?!) anywho...the hostess sat us down almost immediately (yasss brownie points when you're with 2 little kids that are complaining and annoyed). I ordered a passion fruit mojito to start and it was amazing. We started with the short ribs. They're sweet (I didn't mind at all) but extremely fatty. The kids had the ham croquettes (wow!!) and a churrasco steak (very yummy and juicy). I had the ropa vieja (and every intention of sharing with my husband but while I expected a Sergio's serving it was nothing close lol) and it was very delicious. To finish off I had the cuatro leche as recommended (my heart wanted to try the goat cheese flan but the waitress didn't seem enthusiastic about it) and it didn't disappoint. I will come back. Everything was excellent!! We had a reservation for 17ppl for a birthday and the service was phenomenal from start to finish. Our server was attentive, all orders were accurate, our table consistently had water available for everyone in our party and most importantly, food and drinks were delicious. I was nervous after some of the reviews I read about slow service. We did not have that problem at all. I was at this restaurant 6/29/23. I ordered a whole red snapper and got a skeleton of the snapper bent around fish nuggets that I'm not sure was red snapper. How does this restaurant get high ratings with all the excellent Cuban restaurants in Miami? If I could make this negative stars I would. First, the food-- we went to a few Cuban restaurants in Miami and this was the worst. The octopus and ceviche appetizers were good but every main course was far below quality. The mojitos were to watered down we actually sent 4 back and got tired of telling the waitress they were bad. Second, it's loud. Don't plan on having a conversation without yelling at the person next to you. Third, the waitress spilled an entire mojito on my 83 year old father (his back). The waitress had no idea what to do -- offered him a drink and that was it. The manager came over and offered him a free drink which he didn't want and then offered us free desert, which we didn't want either. Note that both of these items are $15. So what was offered at the end? A free Coffee. Why did we go here? My brother knows the owner -- I can safely say, never go here. Save your money and go to Havana 1957 where prices are better, food is better and ambience is better read more

I'm not one to do reviews but when your service was as terrible has ours was today , it took 40 min to put my order in ,waiters was no help came by once every hour , came in at 3 left by 5:15. We especially loved two of our appetizers, the Ropa Vieja Empanadas, and the Maduro Tentacion, which is a fabulous roasted plantain with bacon, jam and smoked mozzarella...fabulous! Also, we really loved the bread pudding with mango, papaya salsa and ice cream... very unique and delicious.
