My mother, aunt and I came down from Charleston to celebrate my mother's birthday at Marbled and Fin in Savannah. We were thrilled with our experience. The restaurant has a beautiful exterior as well as interior, with lots of windows. You do have to pay to park on the street in metered parking spots. The staff was friendly as they seated us upstairs. They started us out with the mushroom pate, which was fantastic. It was soft, almost like mousse. They also offered us a complimentary gin and lime juice cocktail that was wonderful (and I don't even like gin). For appetizers, we ordered the beef tartare, which was excellent, and the scallops, which were succulent. We all ordered the chicken breast entree. It also had dark meat underneath, and had a caper and lemon broth sauce. The chicken was tender and delicious. We got a side of the potatoes au gratin, which was enough for probably four people. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée, which was delicious and the chocolate brownie, which was decadent and topped with vanilla and coffee ice cream. We finished up with some birthday Prosecco. The staff was all kind and attentive, especially Jonathan, who really completed the evening. This was not just delicious food, but also a wonderful dining experience. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. My wife and I are serious food lovers who dine out often, from Miami and New Orleans to Italy and the South of France, and Marbled & Fin belongs in that company. From start to finish, this was exceptional. It started before we even arrived. I called to move our reservation last minute, and Alexa could not have been more gracious about it. Robin greeted us with real warmth, and her love for the place was obvious. Karen then took great care of us all night. She knows the menu cold, made excellent recommendations, and even taught me the "perfect bite" for the bone marrow. The complimentary cocktail and starter were a classy touch. The bar deserves its own mention. I did not catch the bartender's name, but he made one of the best Old Fashioneds I have had, and the Negroni was just as good. Missy checked in throughout to make sure everything was right, and it always was. The food matched the service. My wife is from Sweden, so when she calls this the best salmon she has ever had, that means something. She is still talking about the sauce. I had the bone-in filet with chimichurri, and the oysters and bone marrow were outstanding. What stood out most was how the team made us feel. It was our first visit, but by the end of the night we felt like regulars. The room is beautiful, every detail feels intentional, and the little parting gifts were a thoughtful surprise. As a business owner, I know this kind of hospitality does not happen by accident. It comes from great people and a culture worth being proud of. Went here with two coworkers while we were in Savannah for work and it was one of the best meals we had all week. We each ordered a different steak, and every one of them was excellent--cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The absolute star of the meal, though, was the **broiled bone marrow oysters**. If you come here, do yourself a favor and order them. They were incredible and probably one of my favorite appetizers I've had in a long time. Truly a luxury steakhouse experience for a special occasion. Ted took exceptional care of us as he explained the complimentary starter cocktail and mushroom pate to enjoy while we decided. He was so personable and patient with our questions, he truly made the night! At his recommendation I got a full bodied Barolo that was divine. Highly recommend the broiled oysters and bone marrow (I had never tried bone marrow but you layer it with the oyster on sourdough.. *chefs kiss*). The dry aged ribeye was nothing short of perfection, but what I would say the "best bite" of the night was the creamed corn!! Which sounds unrealistic at a place like this I know, but there was CORNBREAD AND MOZZARELLA- just trust me. Magic. For the experience as a whole, fantastic doesn't even scratch the surface. If I could leave ten stars for this restaurant I would. I had such an amazing experience here and I hope I can make it back for another. The atmosphere is wonderful. Beautiful, not too loud, plenty of seating. If you don't have reservations, they have reserved seating for walk ins. We were able to get one of these tables on a random night in. The bar has a ton of space as well and 30+ seats available from what I could tell. The service: phenomenal. Our waiter, Emmanuel, was too notch. He remembered our names and was so thorough in making sure we had a great experience. He asked for clarity on how dirty we like our martinis. He made sure everything was timed right. And this next part, I cannot stress enough : he didn't rush us. We didn't have a time limit on our table, he didn't try to force to order everything at once. If you've been dining at all recently you know rare this is. We were able to truly enjoy the meal in part due to this. The meal: everything was so good. We started with the milk bread which was so good I could have eaten ten. We also got the wagyu tartare luxury bite and while it was small it was packed with flavor. For the main course we each got a steak (and they come around asking if you want garlic butter on top, YES PLEASE). For sides we split the potato puree, the gratin potatoes and the onion rings. They were amazing except the potato puree I think needed way more salt? It was almost like it was missed. The onion rings were perfectly salted and not soggy at all. Stunning! Marbled & Fin is a brain child of the same group that created Husk (which is another amazing place). When our sever told us this, it made so much sense. This interior is gorgeous! We sat at the bar and grabbed a few drinks, and were told that the high tops were part of the bar. I hope that lasts! Service was amazing. The staff knows their stuff and they're super kind. This is a wonderful dining experience in Savannah. I took my son to celebrate his recent college graduation as well as my birthday. What a great choice for a special meal! After living as a "broke college student" for the past 4 years (okay, 5) I let my son take the lead on ordering starters and sides. We began with the bread with salted butter, which was not at all basic. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside but completely light and airy inside and the salted butter was, of course, the perfect accompaniment. We enjoyed this alongside our complimentary welcome cocktail, which was quite lovely. For our entrees, I ordered the salmon (particularly yummy with the beurre blanc and roe). After asking our very knowledgeable server about the various filet options, my son opted for the Australian Wagyu which, he said, quite literally melted away in his mouth. It was cooked to perfection and he was in heaven! To accompany our mains, he selected the Mac-n-cheese (fantastic) and the Triple Baked Steak Frites. We expected the frites to be a bit crispier (triple cooked, afterall) and smaller. They were more "baked potato wedge" and less "fry". Good, just not what we expected. Despite being completely full, we decided to tap into our second stomachs and end our meal with the Flourless Chocolate Torte. Knowing we likely wouldn't finish it, our wonderful server offered to put the ice cream on the side. (Great idea!) This is a very large dessert, so definitely shareable, and it was delicious! It comes with an Espresso Ganache and that, for me, was the only downside. I don't care for coffee flavor at all but I will try anything. Being made with espresso, the ganache was of course very heavy on the coffee, so we scraped that right off. But, overall, it was delicious! In fact, the boy was very happy to take the majority of it home for later. :) In addition to our server, there was a team of talented staff tending to our every need. Just a wonderful and truly delightful evening! Our bill (which included all of the above + a glass of wine) came to $223 before tip. B O T T O M L I N E : Go! The second you walk in everything is so warm and inviting, To start we had "Much Appreciated" cocktail which in fact was appreciated and delicious! My date had the old fashioned which came with their signature ice with their initials. For starters we had their amazing wedge salad which frankly was the best wedge salad I have EVER had. The blue cheese is from London so you know it's amazing. The Mae's Milk Bread was so fluffy and the salt on top was spectacular and really brought out the flavor of the bread. We had to try their luxury bites which was small but mighty! (Sauternes, Calamansi, Pink Peppercorn). For our main dishes we had Ora King Salmon which was mouth melting salmon along with their asparagus and mashed potatoes it was absolutely delicious. My date had the Porterhouse stake....i don't think there is enough words in the dictionary to describe how delicious this stake was.....it was truly melt in your mouth good....it was so good we were about to hug the chef. Found this restaurant as an alternative to going to another first, which turned out not to be what expected. It was Father's Day and only thing available was first come first serve in bar area. Nevertheless, was treated as if we were in the dining room surrounded in a pleasant, welcoming, ambience, and atmosphere. Emmanuel was extremely professional, the food was par excellent (salmon cooked to perfection with an awesome tasting sauce, tuna, extremely fresh, and the steak was seasoned and perfectly cooked, asparagus, fresh crunchy with delicious hollandaise sauce, and the crème brûlée dessert absolutely wonderful along with the coffee). This new Savannah spot was incredible in all aspects. I sat at the bar, and the service was attentive and friendly. The space itself has beautiful high ceilings and great light. Although, it is a new building it fits right in with the historic city. The food and drinks were excellent as well. My steak was cooked perfectly, the Mac & Cheese was decadent, and the luxury bites were fun starters for a solo diner. Overall, not a good value or worth the hype Food: 2/5 To start, we shared the wedge salad which came chopped and not a wedge. Not your classic wedge with chunky blue cheese and tomato so it wasn't at all what we expected or wanted. Dressing was mixed in. Next, my husband had the dressed oysters which were good but didn't knock our socks off. I had a special luxury bite called hamachi crudo which was kind of like ceviche with diced cucumber, tomato and peppers. It was ok but again, not something I'd go back for. Probably, my favorite item relative to our selections was a special luxury bite (can't recall the name) which was tasty but mostly a dressed-up fish stick. My husband had a halibut meal which isn't on the online menu either. It was in a tomato puree and honestly, another disappointment. I mean how could you make halibut unremarkable? I ended up adding milk bread which was fluffy and warm. Lastly, I did have a special cocktail drink which was super floral and sweet (the menu described it as a mojito vibe) but again, it didn't measure up to my expectation of a refreshing lighter mojito. The service was next level, Angel was an absolute Angel and she was 10/10 with her recommendations and just overall a lovely lovely human being! Oh my gosh this experience makes me so emotional! Me, my mom, and my best friend met my fiancé at the restaurant right after I found my wedding dress! We were on cloud 9! The host and our waiter told the kitchen that I found my dress, and they brought out champagne to celebrate! More than that, they wanted to celebrate with us. If you've ever read the book Unreasonable Hospitality, they made me feel like I was dining at Madison Square Park. The level of attention to detail and their ability to host was out of this world. They hit the nail on the head with surprise and delight. From start to finish the experience was so down to earth and personal. Even though it's a high scale restaurant, I felt so relaxed and welcomed, it didn't feel stuffy at all. They let the food be the show-stopping luxury experience and their friendliness was so perfect and added to the magic. O was out waiter and he was so kind and so attentive. I could go on and on and on about the staff. Now the food deserves it's own praise. HOLY COW! The shrimp cocktail was out of this world. The sides? BEST MAC AND CHEESE EVER!!!! The entrees of course were in a league of their own, and we were so shocked at how every corner of the meal was perfect. The drinks were also amazing. They add the perfect amount of twists to their cocktails without doing too much. The welcome blueberry drink was the best thing I've ever had. The dessert was amazing. Had a lovely evening recently at Marbled and Finn, a new player on the dining scene in Savannah. First , the service, because if it is lacking the whole night suffers, not here...it was impeccable. We started with the small cold seafood tower ( and an inspired "I'll take Five" mocktail..the lime oil was soooo good!) and it was fabulous. If we had stopped at the lobster salad deftly reassembled back into the shell, full of lemon and light and buttery and surrounded by briney oysters on the half shell, I could have left happy. At the table we had the filet, ribeye, halibut and salmon and everyone was quiet and busy, especially the halibut folks. When I say I have never had better, I mean it. It was fresh, light and delightful. All of the sides ( the asparagus was meh..but it checked the box as a healthy option) were 100%, this place knows potatoes, hard to choose between the puree and the gratin, my advice? Get both and throw in the onion rings. Don't skip the crème brûlée, it comes in a long boat and plenty to share. This is a special place for a perfect evening.
