I wanted a gluten free pizza for dinner. This place is somewhat new to our neighborhood so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered on line for curbside pick up. Several problems that we encountered were... 1. I could only get 3 vegetable toppings (at Pieolgy I can get unlimited choices) and I couldn't even add more an item for an extra fee! Ugh. 2. They give you only one choice of cheese and no feta to choose from, 3. The price was at least 20% more than at pieolgy. 4. I ordered for curbside pickup, and when we arrived, they never came out. I had received their email saying "hit this button when you arrive, and we will come out", but when they did not come out, we went inside and the employee said "we don't do curbside pickup" . What? I think I'll stick with Pieoloy, better pizza, better choices, better service.. read more

I know pizza itself is unhealthy but this place takes that another step. Not sure if my $30 one topping pizza was dipped in Mobil 1 or the toppings are just that low quality. There were a few regions of cheese in between the exposed sauce areas so the grease wasn't coming from the cheese, there wasn't enough for it to be. Not sure where to start to describe my disappointment having tried this place. Figured it opened up in a brand new plaza so wanted to give it a try. Paid $24 for a pepperoni pizza- and that was WITH a $3 discount code. The pizza was flooded with oil (the back of the pizza box was almost all wet in oil), overdosed with red sauce & bare minimum amount of a cheese (prob less than a dollar worth). I highly dislike little caesars but for $5 that's to be expected- however, this pizza tasted worse than Little Caesars AND at 5x the cost! Thanks but no thank you. read more

Been wanting to try Marco's since the ads started running when they came to town. Got a takeout of their signature pepperoni. It was hot and fragrant in the car. We start all chain restaurants at three stars and this was a four star experience. Customer service was quick, friendly and efficient. Good job there. The pie was, well, average. It was good in all the ways you want a pizza to be, like hot and melty, but taste and texture had more of a mass produced nature unlike many of the local pizza places. It was just overall unremarkable. Not bad, but not good enough to excel into 5 star area. Crust had a seasoning on it. Buttery/garlicky taste. We ordered original crust. Call in service is exceptional for pickup. Only thing I noticed is cheese is skimpy. Was not like that at NEW opening at Willow/Alluvial in Clovis' 2nd location. Have ordered from the 1st location many times as well but is further away. Been noticing last few times when I bite into the slice, there's no mozzarella strand as you pull from the bite. The cheese is lacking and so thin that it looks like brown glaze on top of the pizza after it's baked in. Because of this, the order frequency has slowed. People order food because they're craving it. When it changes and becomes subpar, the desire for Marcos wanes. X Large two toppings for 19.99, WOW and the quality is out of this world. Best pizza in the Clovis/Fresno market hands down. And the employees care about the quality of food and service. Tried this place after all the hype recently, and was pretty disappointed. Crust was bland and kinda soggy, nothing special about it. We got a pepperoni, pretty simple and straight forward, but the flavor seemed to be lacking. It was about $19 for the XL pizza compared to about $17 for a large... seems kind of expensive compared to the other pizza options available locally. Unfortunately this location doesn't participate in any of the specials on the Marcos pizza website. Also got the cheese bread, which was just plain, not that great. It's hard to really mess up a pizza, and I wouldn't say it was messed up, but I don't think we plan on going here again. read more
