Been wanting to try this for awhile but always get side tracked. The other night I was driving in from out of town and got a craving for pizza. I decided to go by and order walked in and the place was clean and had a few seats, which now a days foe a pizza joint is unheard of. Cashier was a young guy and most if the staff seemed high school or early college age. I asked the employee if the had specials and he told me none of them seemed very appealing so I decided to try the Deluxe which looked good in the picture. Asked how long and he said about 8 to 9 min. I walked around outside for a few minutes and cane back and my pizza was done. Smelled delicious, got home and was pleasantly surprised how good it looked. The taste was great too! The toppings looked fresh, unlike the passed fre times I went and ordered pizza hut and Domino's the green peppers were nastyand you could tell they were getting close to spoiled. I watched the lady making the pizza do everything with her hands, EXCEPT WASH THEM!!! She made pizza, used the register, wiped her hands on her clothes, grabbed boxes of cheese and peppers from under the front counter and went back to making pizza. NO GLOVES and she NEVER WASHED HER HANDS. I've given this place chance after chance after chance and this was it for me. They are always sending trashy looking pizzas out. NOTE: this is not a rating on the food! Ok I realize this post is probably unfair to the business owner. But it's not my fault they don't vet their delivery services! The driver stole my purchase! After an exhausting Phone call with #DoorDash they concluded they didn't owe me any compensation (above a refund) for the time and trouble of having my dinner stolen because the drivers are a 3rd party not with standing the fact the drivers identity as employees of #DoorDash. After this I went to a Pizza Hut to get my meal. While there I spoke with the cashier and he informed me that that the theft from #DoorDash was so rampant they implemented a system of every 3rd party delivery service sign out the order. Time,date, order number first/last name and phone number. Seriously if you're in Lewisville,TX don't use #DoorDash there is a very real chance your order will be stolen. To the owners of this restaurant: I choose your business because it was locally owned and I wish my experience would have been better. Just moved into the neighborhood and received a free coupon for a large pizza as a welcome gift. When I went to redeem it, the girl up front (Kyile) was very rude and acted like it was a problem. She even had to ask someone else if they would accept the coupon, which made me feel uncomfortable--at that point I was ready to just pay for it myself if it was such an issue. The various combinations of toppings are definitely worth a try; so creative and delicious! Marcos does have your old reliable favorites but with heavier toppings than your average pizza place. I would have given four stars if my pizza had been cooked properly. It was cooked just enough to get it out the door (I ordered takeout). I took one bite and it was not good. No flavor. I thought it was the worst pizza I ever had. I fired up my convection oven to 425 and cooked the pizza for eight minutes. It had the exact color you look for in a good pizza. I had his mother call the store she was put on hold for a manager but then hung up on, we then tried submitting feedback online and that was unsuccessful. Great place for a real Hood experience. I went in to pay for my pizza and they had some kind of gangster rap playing . I heard D$$ck, Pu$$y , F$ck and Ni$$er all with in two minutes of walking in. I have tried this Marco's a couple of times. It is bad, just bad. Employees seem like they just do not care. Walking in you will probably not get greeted, feels almost like you are not wanted. I enjoyed eating here in the past because it's never very crowded which I like, but after speaking with the manager I can easily see why more people don't enjoy eating in the restaurant. I ordered the "big cheese", and when I received it, it didn't even look appetizing like in the picture. It was horrid. The cheese didn't even cover the sauce. There was too much sauce. It was very sloppily just thrown together, all the topping just slid off the pizza, and it was not appetizing in the slightest. I called in to offer my valuable feedback to the manager, "Aldair", and he was completely indifferent, did not offer to accommodate in any way, and said it would be "ok" if I leave negative reviews. Wow just wow. As a rule I don't eat pizza for health reasons and neither does my husband. But tonight on a whim he ordered a small Marco's pizza. Why a small? Because it was late, we had not discussed dinner, and I typically only eat salads and vegetables. On his way out the door he told me where he was going (as I was finishing my Beyond Meat patty and brussels sprouts). And he mentioned he just discovered they have cauliflower crust (I'm wheat sensitive). I looked at him and said "You mean you're going to my favorite pizza place and ordering cauliflower crust?!?!" He nervously laughed and asked if I wanted him to get me one. To his defense we haven't eaten pizza in forever and he wouldn't have known that was my favorite place. I told him no thank you but asked for a slice of his, which he graciously agreed to. Boy oh boy was that slice as good as I remembered. The price is high, as most pizza places are, but when I want to splurge, this is my place. Honestly, I had forgotten about them so the reminder was a nice surprise. Bonus that we live close by. The ingredients are ALWAYS fresh and delicious and really make the pizza stand out among others. I also really love that they always offer (and accept) coupons for future use. Their online ordering system is super easy to use and I love that you can order a pizza now, and pick it up in 5 hours when you are ready to eat it. You can also track it online so you can see when they start the prep and you can plan to pick it up right when it's done so it's still nice and cozy.
